A member of the GeGnome project 2010 - 2011
This Gnome is happy to just be gnoming along or as us humans put it out for a good time and to see the sites.
With no place to be or time to be there he is out to enjoy Australia.
The Gnome was an entrant in the GeGnome Project, moveable cache race 2010/2011.
Logging a Moveable Cache
As moveable caches can be quite creative, with a normal moveable cache, follow these steps to log your find and move.
First Step: Log your find with a 'Found' log (this will give you your smiley!)
Second Step: When you have moved the cache to its new location, log a NEW 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates and even a hint in the hint box if you wish. The hints box will update the main hint for the cache so that it will update in GSAK and the like.

This cache looks to be MIA. To save it turning up on the lists we'll archive it. If it's resurrected the owner can activate it by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.
this is another one at the same location that we were unable to find. Three movables at the same location but not there. I do hope that the previous searches who claimed to have found it will write the "moved" coordinates in soon???

Finally fixed him up and sent him on his way! He lost his arm in the back of my car but a little bit of duct tape later and he's as good as new. Well, maybe slightly used but he's up and about anyway!Gotcha! Bit of a spooky spot but there was really only one place for him to hide. Nice bit of stitching on his arm shows evidence some love and care in the past. I got a bit of a shock when I read that I was the FTF - I can't even remember him finding him now, although it was a big year! Reading my log again it seems he has a bit of a penchant for churches and graveyards...

Dropped off to Tankengine. Don't bother looking for this one.
Candy Cane 101 and I went for a walk this afternoon, placing gnomes in this area, according to some very specific instructions by Black Bunny. We haven't been told why, but we suspect a pattern is emerging. We also suspect that we were told to do it in a certain way, just to make us cross the creek the maximum number of times en route. We had fun anyway, and saw a lot of kangaroos and a few brown bunnies.
Went for a drive with black bunny and Just a cacher to a event., when the event was over, there were 50 gnomes and pathtag swapping

Went for a drive today to catch up with a few gnomes that I heard were gathering at an event in the Blue Mt's. Something about the GLF and GFF calling a truce.
Meet a few gnoming aficiandos and even eat my way through a couple of gnome cup cakes (Thanks to Just a Cacher for those) while signing (almost) all the logs.
A great way, and a great spot, to spend an hour or 2.

'Gnoming along' is ready to party with his mates, some new and some he has already met in his travels. With the GLF and the GFF comparing notes let's hope for a lasting peace.

'Gnoming along' has made it to the GFF holiday resort and will spend a couple days resting before joining his friends at the Mt Victoria meeting, he is looking forward to seeing some old friends and make some new ones.
'Gnoming along' has been given new orders and is on his way back to the Clwydd headquarters to join his mates for the Mt Victoria get together. He had some very interesting things to say about the work going on near him and not so complimentary about the ducks around him!

Gmoming Along was with me as I drove home, and we passed some digging works in the park. At his request we stopped and went to see what is going on, but it is all mysterious and so G-A volunteered to stay and monitor the activity there (though I reckon he just wants to watch the many ducks on the adjacent water).
He is on the EASTERN SIDE of the creek, with easy access, so he should be easy enough to find there.

Gnoming along is listed as a micro -well, yes, he is log-only, but at about 30cm tall, he is possibly the largest micro on the geocaching circuit.
At least he was still there, unlike the last few gnomes I have been out hunting this week.
Found in Padstow, on the eastern side, so moved him some bush on the western side on the way home.

I said I was going to leave this fellow for someone else, but since I was caching in this area today, I thought it might be good to put him somewhere new, with new people to meet
I walked out my front door this afternoon, after seeing Roger had logged our HancockHouse cache, and discovered this fellow had also been left in our garden right next to the cache. I'll leave him there for someone else to move on, however, which might encourage someone new to visit our cache as well. Thanks Roger
'Gnoming along' has decided he has had enough R&R at the Clwydd recreation center, he is on the move again and has stopped on the way to make new friends.
'Gnoming along' has now left Katoomba and is in Clwydd making a full and detailed report on the activities of dubious elements he has encountered. He will be back on duty very soon.

'Gnoming along' is making a scheduled stop at Leura for a short de-brief (verbal not physical!) with the local GFF Officer who will organize further transport toward the Clwydd Headquarters.
'Gnoming along' has been doing a great job of surveillance and will now make his way back to Clwydd gradually to report on his findings. He also wants to visit his mate 'GeoGraduate' who is undergoing physical therapy and a few more surgical procedures at the Clwydd Medical Center.

After leaving it for tronador to find this morning, I then discovered she was away for a week. So as behind the letterbox was a touch obvious I went back this afternoon and relocated him back to Rookwood in the usual tree. He can monitor the traffic entering the cemetery from the western entrance at this location.
Well this one seems to like my company as I've ended up with him again. Back down to Sydney for some action there.
Heading for the Port Stephens Invasion event.
Looked for three gnomes on the way home from a caching and camping event in the Watagans and this is the only one we located.

Another great event today. On a stinking hot day in homebush oveer 40 gnomes showed up and looked to be having a great time especially this little guy. Oh yeah there where some fun people there aswell.
Looks like a couple of gnomes may have followed us home and there locations will be updated soon.

Attending the post race gnome party at Homebush this was one of MANY new to us gnomes we found on the table. I know I looked at him a few times, but I can't remember if I signed his log? Hope you don't mind if I missed it. TFTG
I found GA the Gnome once again at the The Gegnome Project-Post Gnome Get Together at Homebush Bay! He's an old friend now . . .
Today he was one of an amazing variety of 42 gnomes in attendance at Wentworth Commons in Sydney's Olympic Park -- and a few gnome-mad geocachers attended as well . . . The scorching 41 degree temperatures didn't dent our enthusiasm.
Congratulations to all those battle-hardened gnomes who survived the rigours of the recent competition and our condolences to the owners of those who suffered injuries and/damage or who were finally declared 'missing in action' . . .
This gnome can now take a very well-deserved break, doing whatever it is that gnomes do when they take well-deserved break . .

Found among the 41 other Gnomes at 'The GeGnome Project - Post Gnome Get Together!' A great time was had by all, even the Gnomes and they spent their time having logs and other things pushed up their nether regions at least for most of them. A great way to see Gnomes that I would not have been able to get to otherwise.

Well what a party that was! There were way more gnomes (42!!!) than cachers (maybe 10 teams, about 20 people) and things almost got out of hand Luckily some of the gnomes who attended were able to keep a bit of control - Bruce the Gninja, GeoPirate, Gno-mad, Gnome-Mare and Geolady were big enough and tough enough to exert some authority.
We held a ballot to see who would go home in which car and Gnoming along agreed to take amyjanemay.

I went out on to the front balcony tonight to look for a cat and found 5 gnomes lined up that I didn't expect to be there. Where the heck did they come from? One last find for the race, and no with 15 minutes to go I am not moving them again

Dropped off at a classy place in Rydalmere. All the gnomes had heard that there was a post-race party on the weekend and wanted to be sure to be in a spot where there was a guaranteed lift to get there
I arrived at work to find I was required to act as a tour guide for the day and keep a noisy rabble of 10 gnomes occupied! Thank goodness it's a beautiful day and I can send them outside to play for a whileAn extremely early morning trip to the city to drop the gnome delegation off to blossom* for their day's tour. The security guy was a bit non-plussed at my explanation of why there were 11 gnomes in the front garden of the telephone exchange but he has met blossom* and, once I told him she was invloved, no more explanation seemed to be needed 
There was a delegation here when I arrived this morning, demanding that they be taken all over Sydney becasue they wanted to get in as many tourist stops as possible before the end of the race.

Gnoming Along was getting very sleepy by now so I left him with The Grey Old gegnome. You will find them behind a log which is near a telegraph pole along Quarry Rd

Gnoming along was getting very sunburnt so I thought it best to take him to the shops for a cool drink
Gnoming along had a great day at the beach. He zipped about on the boogie board a bit but then decided to go exploring along the rocks. It was a brilliant day and he wanted to stop here and watch the waves. Although there were a lot of girls there too, sunbaking in bikinis so I'm not absolutely certain which he really wanted to watch!
On the way to the beach, we saw this guy beside the road, hitching a lift so stopped to pick him up. He hopped in the back and was practicing on the boogie board as we drove along the highway!
Left Gnoming along with some friends to celebrate the new Chinese New Year. He was looking forward to some rabbit stew. If one came his way he was determined to catch it.

Corrach, Geo-Lady and Gnoming Along spent the night together having a party at my place. They enjoyed each other's company so much they decided to stick together for a while and went for a nice bushwalk near Tambourine Bay. They found a nice rock to hide behind and covered the entrance hole up with bark.
He had fun with one black cat and one grey one! -little GeogirlMoved a bit closer to the action so a few more people can grab him. A nice little park on the banks of the Parramatta river.
A nice stroll through the bush brought us to a likely hiding spot. I'm pleased there hadn't been too much rain in the last few days or I would never have reached him.

He's found a nice little spot by the creek after being evicted from Olympic Park. Satlock is a bit ordinary here so as you cross the creek look just to your right.
These pesky gnomes keep invading Olympic Park, and area I try to keep clear of caches. Righto you, move along.
Gnoming Along got along splendidly with Mr Bump last night and they discussed their injuries. Poor Gnoming has a rather serious amputation which has been brilliantly reattached with microsurgery.
I gave him a helping hand this after noon and gently let him out of the car so he could scramble under a bush.

Gnome gnapped......he he he he...... almost left empty handed. This pair tried hard to be quiet to avoid detection and they almost fooled me. I couldn't find them anywhere that the GPS pointed to. Then as I thought they'd given me the slip I saw them peeking out, well mostly uncovered from their bark home, lying really still pretending to blend in. Ah gotcha... now get in the car!

Left him together with Matt Patt in a bushy roadside spot. Had just too many gnomes in the GeoBuru and was afraid of trouble. These two seemed to get along, so I wished them well and drove off. I'm starting to be over-gnomed a bit . . .
Finally gnabbed this gnome again -- after two recent DNFs -- and very close to home!

After correcting the error of a previous hider, who placed two gmomes the wrong way round, I moved this to a different location in Luera.
I am sure someone who lives nearby will move him along!

Just so long as 'Gnoming Along' is safe and hasn't been muggled. That was my only worry, since my tragic experience with Gneal, down in the nearby Blue Labyrinth area.
I was driving by this spot in any case, on my way to a couple of other caches.
It's all just added to the gnomic fun . . .

I found 'Heave Ho' here instead, well quite some distance from where the co-ords pointed, out in the open on the side of the road in the reserve. 'Heave Ho' has been moved a short distance, I could not carry him any further! on my way back to the station. I am just waiting for the logs to be fixed before I update.

I seem to have overlooked 'Gnoming Along' in the dark last night -- unless he's been gnabbed by another geocacher and not logged as yet. This spot is close to home, so will check again today in the daylight!
