Tftc. Took a bit of searching and glad I decided to do this one before the rains come!No pen so took a photo instead.
Its my second last day in Darwin and so I was wanting to find a few target caches before heading home to Brisbane tomorrow. Coordinates were spot on so a quick find of the cache, which is in great condition, at head height for me. Needed a tott, which I luckily had with me, to get the logbook out. All good here. Tftc
Well, after having a month or so to pluck up the courage to try again I can proudly say that I "Found it"! Cheers NTSTROM for the hide ️
No trouble spotting this one from the path... but took a bit of effort crossing over wearing flip flops. Tftc
This cache has kept me busy for sooo long! Every time I visited Darwin it was on the to-do list and never discovered.
Today it was time again. With a new thought about what the hint might mean, searched again. Started a bit north, felt my way to the coordinates and then spotted the little one at eye level. Actually not difficult to hide!
Finally, this is also a smiley on the map!
Thank's NTSTROM for laying and maintaining!

Spending a few days in Darwin getting caches and on this occasion I was "Able to Decide" to make the search. I must admit it took a while but eventually it was sighted and the logduly signed.
Out and about on a quiet Sunday morning, just grabbing a few in those busy muggle areas.

Found on a early morning drive into the city Made a quick find and then I was attacked by a bunch of green ants. Made a quick retreat as soon as I could and spent the next 10 minutes fighting a rear guard action until I was rid of them. TFTC.
Out and about with BJA3 for work and taking advantage of the bad weather giving us the opportunity to look for caches.
TFTC NTSTROM!
TFTC NTSTROM!
Out and about with Team Barritts picking up a few smiley’s. Thanks to all the CO’s for their hides and getting us out exploring Darwin. SLTNLN.
Took 2 visits and a hint to track this one down. The cache is 10m north of where my GPS indicated was GZ. Persistsnce paid of in the end, nothing like spotting a cache when you've all but given up! T4TC
30 mins here sweating it out.
Almost gave up and decided one last check of something else.
Bingo... It’s in my hot little hands.
Now trying to type with sweat dripping everywhere...

No joy for us here. Find to DNF running at 50/50 this morning. Hope it's not a sign of things to come today.....
Alice trip 2017. Day 20. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent our last day caching around Darwin near East point and the CBD taking advantage of a quiet Sunday. All in all it was a very successful day, but not here.
Thanks.

Thanks.

Day 3 of our run around town and we managed a few DNF's as well as our finds. This was another DNF added to the listed.
Thanks anyway.....
Thanks anyway.....
We were at it for a long time and didn't find it. Its difficalty eating should be higher and we need a better hint.
Recent tree cubby activities in the area, and the code hasn't been found for a while. Could this location be checked, I will return to search again. Thank you
Located cache visually but unable to access log due to many green ants and a giant man eating spider
Took a while and worked the brain! But got there eventually. Number 2 for the morning.
What a pretty little piece of bushland - thank you for bringing me here. Stomped around blind for a while and then had a brainwave about the clue and a quick find.
Found reasonably quickly, although we are still trying to decide how the clue fits. Never mind, hunted along with Waz & Vic today.
Tried but no success.
Saw some nice mushrooms, see pic's.
Team Omam from the Netherlands has only one aunt left. And as she will have her 100th birthday early February, we decided to join the birthday party. But …., she lives in Sydney Australia! An excellent opportunity for us to explore this continent once again and find Geocaches along the way. We will do a 3.5 weeks trip! At places where we will stay for a few days (Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Darwin), we will organize Meet and Greet events. We will try to find mainly caches with high favorite points, caches from 2000 and 2001, earth caches, webcam caches, virtuals and letter box hybrids.

After misinterpreting the hint and looking for aaaages in the wrong spot it finally clicked and was a quick find. Very clever! Thanks.
Today we explored Darwin and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. Returned today with a hunch and made a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about but failed to unearth his one. Our third DNF today, will have to revisit. No idea with this one, but the green ants are still hungry!!
Right well this one took longer than it should have!
After arriving at GZ we concentrated our efforts about 10 meters away from the cache location. After about 10 mins we moved on and there was the cache!
Pen was playing up so our signature is a bit scratchy but you'll know we were there!
Thanks for bringing us to this nice little spot.

After a weekend at Hidden Valley for the V8 Supercars, it was a nice relaxing day around Darwin geocaching. TFTC.
Can't believe it took us so long to find this cache! A classic nano.
Can't believe it took us even longer to work out the hint - very clever!

This was found on a great geocaching tour together with Landlockedsailors
We had made a list of caches that we wanted to find and then we found some extra as we came along. It was a really good day with some good finds!
This was not planned, but a nice little walk and a quick find
Thanks a lot for the cache

Another find as I near the end of my 31 in 31 days challenge. What a great area...and loved the little creek here. Replaced the log as well. TFTC
Sent our geo-hubby's off to do this one while Mrs iluvtrekking and I cached in another area. They had no problem locating the find. Thanks NTSTROM
Another great day caching around Darwin.
We were unable to decide weather to do this cache or go back for lunch.
Since the cache was on the way back to the caravan, we were able to do both.
Thanks for the cache, NTSTROM.

Another pocket of bush in the Darwin area. We have visited so many places since arriving here.
Thanks NTSTROM

Visiting our son in Darwin this was our 2nd cache to find. Logpaper needs replacement.

My !! What an odd name for such an easy to find cache
Or does the name refer to the indecision of the cache hider when trying to find a place to hide the cache ?
On a bike ride around the towne today I rode the pushbike past this GZ
Nice spot [^]

I only just discovered these walks through the 'urban bush' and they are lovely
The log needs changing - I could not write on the old one - it is full, and is also crumbling away. Nice hide though! Thanks NTSTROM.
Once we figured out the clue (with some help!) found it easy. Had been searching for it for some time before that though. TFTC!
Was able to find after no success last time. The usual "don't know how I missed it" applied

Unable to find, despite some thorough searching.
Might have been just me though
Thanks for bringing me here anyway

Another one of those 'lovely little places that we enjoyed and would probably never have known about if not for geocaching.'

Once the GPS settled down we were within 3m and after a short search was rewarded with a find TFTC
First cache. Close to home and on my morning run so I thought I'd start out with it.
Log is getting full and appears to have suffered from some water damage.

Log is a bit full. Lots of work being done in the area.
Bit of a slip of the lip in revealing the clue to Pprass before the find.
But then, it did not help much.
Found in the company of Pprass after a quick search.
Edit due to the date of the find being one day out.

Found at 11.50pm GAFF3 (due to an unsolicited hint from Riddell). We were wondering around for a few moments trying to escape the dust that the workmen were creating from the paddock nearby. The cache was found in an unexpected spot after a few moments.
Thanks NTSTROM.

The sun was starting to get pretty low in the sky by the time we got here, so it was actually looking pretty good. Quite a few birds congregating on the radio masts. Cheers Gav [8762]
Made the nice little walk down the track and carefully crossed the creek to make the quick find. Thanks for the unusual hide here NTSTROM
Find number 16 for the day, and find number 224 on the twentyth day of our month long trip to Warwick, Lightning Ridge, Boulia, Plenty Highway, Alice Springs, Ayres Rock, Darwin, and home. Found at 1800hrs Qld time.
Another pretty easy one, as it is just there. No ceremony, just there.
Cheers

Enjoyed visiting a place we've never been to before and trying out our new GPS ... Can relate to Liz & Bruce's comments on this one ... T4TC
This one proved harder than it should have been, we were pleased to eventually spot it. Thanks NTSTROM

Out hunting with spider bait McRunBecks. Standard nano find - at least it wasn't on a sign.
Out hunting again with JWSTORMING
quick wander down a spider ridden track, well there was a huntsman hanging in the middle of the track.
quick find, signed the log and off again

As soon as I read the clue, I looked up and there it was. Quickly signed as the rain started. 2nd for the night. Tftc.
That was an easy find today. The coords worked very good and so I had no problems.
Also there were no crocs in the "river"
Thanks for the cache and showing the area.
Greetings, Colonel Dago from Germany

Love the clue. This is the third cache of this type and position I have come across, but still I find them difficult to find--despite being boldly placed. TFTC!
This one would have to have been my toughest for the day. Gizmo wouldn't zero in any closer than 12 metres, so armed with the clue, I found it soon enough. Although after removing the log, I placed the containers and lid on my Geo bag while filling it out. I then absentmindedly picked up my bag (doofus times twofus) and the bits went flying into the scrubness (horror). After some meticulous searching, all was found and replaced (whew). TFTC
Have 2 weeks in Darwin with work and have been getting out for some cacheing when time allows. A gem of a spot and it took me a minute to notice the hide as I was not expecting this kind of cache. TFTC NTSTROM. [220]
