Walked around and checked the trees near where the iPhone said to look but could not find it.

Lovely area.. I drive past this hide every day to and from work. Will get the mountain bike serviced and head off along the trails. Log is wet as is also the inside of the container. Needs some sun shine. I left a frog Smile thought that was apt. Nice one

A quick search to find the cache. No Koalas to be seen. We keep an eye out for them. Havent seen any though.

Stairman1 and I parked nearby and started out walk. After following the path around we discovered we could have parked right outside the GZ Surprised We hunted around and finally found the cache container hidden near the co-ordinates. We signed the log and then headed back to the car to grab some lunch. TFTC

20-Aug-11
I parked near this cache had a quick search (no luck) then continued on to "Border Crossing" and then on to "The Cantering Cache" and "Cache Clippity Clop". The long walk back along Ford Road gave me time to read some logs to help find this one.

After a phone a friend and a bit of rummaging I found the container and all was good.

Thanks for the cache Harry'sH-4. Cheers.

After reading the last couple of logs, I chose to ignore the hint, but it still took me a while. Finally found it right where the GPS put me (funny that Razz). Just took a bit of scratching around. TFTC.

Anyhow a nice spot today and no one around.

The hint actually threw us here and had us looking in the wrong spot, teaches us not to make presumptions!
Log book and container are wet but we weren't equipped to fix them up today.

19-Jun-11
This looks like a nice track that I would love to walk on another day. Today we had just a few minutes before an appointment and set off to find this. Rifferous found it hiding nicely from view but I am glad I didn't check the hint. I might have been looking in all the wrong places.
The cache is very damp and needs drying out or replacing. Lack of time meant we had to leave without doing either.
Thanks for bringing us here Harry'sH-4

13-Jun-11
There was still some daylight left so we couldn't pass by! Hopped skipped and jumped in (literally) and the cache was found after a bit of a search. The log is quite damp. Thanks Harry'sH-4

We lost some of our numbers at this cache, but we still had 4 sets of eyes. We found the cache OK and I guess it matched the hint [?]. This was another great area.

Thanks

After showing of as we entered the park the cache was located quickly. we signed the log just as quick and made our way out. Nice park and grab this one. I decided i would try and show of again as we left and nearly ended the day with an injury. Cheers to Harry'sH-4 for this one.

Sadly I have to report this cache has been muggled but not lost. Needs new ziplock bags and the logbook and container need a good drying out. CO should disable while repairs are made. See my log for position of cache.

24-Mar-11
Parked at the wrong gate and then followed the GPSr up to the horsey gate and walked in. After a few metres I spotted the telltale signs of a muggled cache! Container open on the ground, toys spread out, plastic bags lying there, logbook on the grass...
I collected the bits and managed to write in the logbook which was damp but not totally soaked. The container was full of water as was the lid, I got them a bit drier but as I'm from out of town I didn't have my full cache repair kit with me. I didn't re-use the bags as they were wet and split. The next person may bring along some replacements. Also the log needs a good dry.
I am not sure where the hiding place was but at GZ there's a tree with a log at its base - it's now under the log at the tree end.
Yah boo sucks to destructive muggles!

I must be thick I didn't "get" this one until later, and that was despite meeting a horse and rider after we finished the cache. Now I see it's a great name for the cache. Did a repair job here and left a trackable, a new TB "Clyde" for next finder to move on. The bush was hot today and we saw no animals. I think you'd have to come later in the day for that. When we spoke to the lady rider we met I asked her if the koalas were definitely there and her reply was "They're pretty good at hiding themselves" Go horsykoalas! TFTC

Had a very nice visit to this cache today. A nice quick find. So fast we walked past it and had to come back. All was well with the cache. Didn't see any koalas today, but it was hot and they would have been sleeping off their eucalyptus leaves and resting ready for another gorging tonight. We met Daintree the horse and it's owner when they stopped for a chat with Betzy the Beast and her owner and fellow cacher. We enjoyed this cache. Thanks Harry'sH-4. Dipped some trackables, a few of which have just arrived off the big bird in the sky from the U.K. Thought they'd like to see some Aussie Bush and maybe a koala or two. Never mind, they did see a lovely horse.

I really did approach this one from wrong angle - and I cant even blame my TomTom for it. I parked a little further down and walked in behind some folk's home. Thankfully the path joined up. Found the cache after a small hunt - all safe and sound. TFTC Harry'sH-4 Smile

Out this afternoon with camera-wielding geo-daughter who opted to wait in the car for this one. Mmmm....let's read the cache notes, gee, sure I read those this morning....am I in the same place?!?!?! Argh....was ready the wrong notes this morning....no wonder that cache was so tricky to find!!!! Anyway, the hints made sense here and I found the cache quickly. Picked up a few splinters in the hand as I retrieved this cache Sad.

Thanks for the cache Harry'sH-4. Cheers, svn07

Far too wet to walk today so took the easy option and parked at "the end" of the trail... Wink Hopscotched over the entry and made my way to GZ... GPS initially had me elsewhere and I had a purturbed canetoad looking at me, wondering why I was interested in his home... Surprised It soon settled though and I moved over to the right hiding spot and retrieved the cache which was quite exposed... Twisted The rain had obviously kept the crowds at bay and I had all the time and all the space in the world to conduct business... [^] All done and dusted, I tucked the cache away and gave it a little more cover...

Cheers Harry'sH-4

19-Dec-09
found it while thunder was closing in on us. Thanks Harry's-H for hiding, I guess we will have to come back for the walk another day with better weather Smile

The log was very damp, and the inside of the box seemed very humid. Bagged the whole box in a zip-lock bag, to prevent it from getting wetter than it already is, however it probably won't dry in this condition as well. Maybe the next visitor will have better conditions and can dry the cache a bit.

Great park for a long walk.
Thanks for the cache and hunting

All four of THENANKS went out in an attempt to find 10 caches this afternoon before dark so we could clock up our 1500th find.[^] It was Mr and Mrs NANKS 17th wedding anniversary Surprised and we thought that this would be a great way to spend the afternoon with our geoboys. Razz

This was a nice quick find for Mumma NANKS. We really like these horse trails. We were lucky enough to meet two women and their horses and we even fed the horses some apples. [^]

Thanks Harry'sH for leading us here. Big Grin

Quick find dodging the rain showers today.

Hmm when I first visited this place it was pouring rain and the GPS sent me all over the place. Including the the wrong place on multiple occasions, so much so I thought the cache had been nicked. I gave up and did the others on the track and returned. GPS led me straight to the right spot. Cache in hand I logged and then off to the next location.

I awoke early to saddle up my steed "Specialized" for the ride to find the horsykoalas Smile
Being a mechanical thoroughbred "Specialized" and I are free to roam the horse flu zones of SE Queensland and flew we did Big Grin
The ride along the quiet semi rural roads of the area on a Sunday morning was very pleasant and the kilometres trotted by quickly till the cache was just a log jump away Razz
But there was a refusal at the jump and after a run-out I made a rapid dismount and after dusting myself off headed off to find the cache alone Smile
Thanks for a fun cache chase. I dropped in Signal of Arabia Downunder geocoin.

Found this one while on my way home from 'Mr&Mrs Cache'. I've spent a lot of time in this area. It is a cache rich environment. Grabbed this one almost immediately. After signing the log, I left Pinky's Geocoin #2 and took the diabetes TB.
