out hunting with MGROCKS and JWstorming and had a look at this area, we found what could have been the cache, (a pen, plastic bag and a plastic pirate dubloon) also some one has been live at GZ going by the amount of rubbish in that area.
would be good to have this checked out and fixed (dont like archived caches)

G-Day we found this cache a long time ago as steve & ra and are a updating as a team thanks Black Flag.
Another DNF for today. We are getting good at these. Spent near on 40 minutes at GZ with nil success. Decided to contact the GC helpline (thanks NTSTROM) but that didn't help either. perhaps the owner or a recent finder could confirm it is still there. If not, I won't be back until someone else finds it, as it is not a very pleasant place with all the crap strewn around the GZ [:(!] .
Found an old grubby camp site, with rubbish everywhere. Very poor form by those that use the place.
Looked around but found nothing.
Looked around but found nothing.
A nice place, but we were a little unsure about the local 'residents'. TFTC
Spent a minute or so scratching around gz before remembering the nonclemanture whereupon I had the cache in the very next spot that I looked. Well durr! lol, Thanks groboz. Very quiet at Buffalo Creek today.
found at 1350
started looking in all hard places then looked in easy places to find Thanks

Last day in Darwin and back to y favourite places. Long walk along the beach to the creek from another cache. TFTH
My 100th cache! YAY!! Now I must force myself to go home and pack for flight home tomorrow. Thanks for showing me so many of Darwin's natural, historic and cultural attractions, I reckon I've seen more in 3 months than many locals have seen ever! The Darwin geomob are the best!
Cache has been replaced with a new one complete with new log and is now ready for the next finder. Oh seems to also have a bit of pirates gold as well. How did that get there.
A big thank you to Gibbo for replacing this cache with a much nicer container and log. It's good to go and should see out at least another year.
Of course there will always be a smile on a red tag's face when a lure is in a cache, even if it is a ratty old Dahlberg Diver! Fortunately I was able to sign the new log. Thanks, Groboz (and gibbo003!)
Found this one with Thunderstruck. Good spot but cache is in a bad way. There is a fishing lour in it which has rusted and its not water sealed so the log is still wet!
Accompanied by Toolbrunp, we attacked this one from the beach side which proved to be a good move. But this cache was in a VERY BAD way, looks like Swine Flu got it or something bad. Rusty and log was soaked to the bone. When I found it, it was in plain view exposed to the elements, not sure if that was intended but def could have put it in a better spot so I did, albeit 50cm away.
Tried to sign log with pencil but couldn't write at all really.
Please check this one!

Junior hefalump abandoned the hunt and chased crabs on the beach with Father hefalump so it was up to mother to brave the bush and slap the mozzies. TFTH TNLN SL
Found the cache at 6.40pm. Mozzies - grrrr... BUT Lovely beach - pity cant swim!!! SL. Thanks Groboz for organising the cache and hunt.
Low tide at the beach today, but a cool walk anyway. Cache was fairly quickly, log signed and then back to the car to head off for another.
TFTC.
Cheers,

Cheers,
Nice spot. I went down to the river first (to check for crocs ). The tide was a long way out, so no swimming here today. I walked along the beach rather than the road to GZ. There was only three other people here today.
An easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

My last cache in Australia after ten month traveling. Thanks to all GeoCachePeople. This cache was a nice final.
Easy find after a stroll along the beach. TNLN, cheers and thanks for the cache.
Found @ 1020 with my 3 yo daughter. Nice day for a walk on the beach.

We are now beginning to realize how sneaky you NT Hiders are!
After the Picnic at Holmes Jungle we see that anything goes.
Gotta love the sand flies at 5pm, run away, run away.......
Nothing to take
Left a fishing fly lure

My 100th find! And it only took six years!! Found this with Merri on a five cache afternoon stroll. Don't give up McFush, it's there.
Our second attempt, no luck.
We looked everywhere, so much tidal flotsam everywhere, knew it was small but no find
Allrighty then, moving on, to the Coin Cache.

After enjoying a morning of caching around the corner we attempted What a great area - reminded us so much of the Pilbara (our home), well at least the beach and the mangroves. The dense vegatation is something else. We hunted around and was about to give up when I spotted the item in question. Great hide - thanks.
Great hide in a great spot! Just a little diff to get to but very much fun. Cache was easily found as it was lying on the ground so left it where we thought it should be. TFTC TNLN

We unnessessarily bushbashed along the way. Awesome beach.
TFTC. No swaps.

Blood sweat and tears! Is the best way to describe this experience! And that is blood from TWO sources – firstly – why do those innocent looking trees/vines (whatever they are) have such NASTY thorns! Secondly – the mozzies were INSANE! I could not slap them off fast enough, and when I did, there was another red smear on my arm/leg/forehead. I then found the decoy cache! (More slapping) – actually, I found simply rubbing myself all over was the best way to get those suckers! Luckily I then found the micro. – Now why would someone hide a micro out here? There’s only 455,120 thousand places to look! Thanks Groboz for an experience that I will not forget in a hurry! (As a consolation though – I am hoping that this will now be my Northern most cache find!)
NICE ONE JIMBO NICE ONE I LOVE BUFF CREECK AM THERE ALL THE TIME. MOZIES SUX 1000'S OF M ROCK ON
Once again the sharp thorny vines, not nice GROBOZ. But a nice easy find, although I had been helped by the Scrub Fowls apparently they like to dig at the base of trees and through all sorts of things out into the clearing. You may want to reconsider its positioning.

First to log but certainly not first to find. Found at 0930 hours, but as usual was beaten to the punch by the predictable crowd of KerrNT and Gibbo. I suppose I'll have to be happy with a bronze for this one. Nice easy find, however access into GZ is interesting. Dont think you have to worry to much about the crocs and snakes as the mozzies have eaten them all. Thanks Groboz.

Started this one last night but some of the team didn't like the bush. I walked past GZ 2 times last night and fell for the fake hide but after returning this morning found without any trouble. Good to see KerrNT had the first to find must have been out of bed early. Well done KerrNT. Took nothing and left nothing signed log. Thanks Groboz for the hunt and my 99th cache.

Didn't expect a FTF on this one as live the furtherest away. Later discoved that the nocturnal cachers had been the night before with no luck. Beginning to think Groboz has a thing for jungle and vines! Thanks for the hunt and another FTF.
