After finding the box and logging it online i saw that is recently archived... the box is there. The logbook is a bit wet, but that it.....no need to archive it. There was even a TB in it...
Nice easy drive by once we found the right track. The log was a bit damp still but usable. TFTC

Thankyou. A lovely end to the day finding this cache at sunset with my kids and their grandad. Grandad's first cache! It's now a family affair. We all enjoyed it.
Gosh it sure gets hot here! Found it quickly and walked to the next one nearby. Thanks heaps...
Found whilst on our way back to Katherine from Darwin. Quick easy find. TNLN, TFTC.
A nice and easy find on our quick trip to the Northern Territory.

Had previously done nearby Howzat but could not see a way in to this one. Back today for a dip at Berry Springs and this time found the track in. The container still had water in it and the contents were soaked. We drained & dried the container and some of the contents but dumped the rest which could not be salvaged. Placed a new temporary log in a zip-lock bag so all is now dry again at least until the next serious wet event. TFTC.
Found the right path, and managed to drive pretty close. Fairly quick find once we were there. Cheers Gav [8892]
The Cache was very wet, with the container half full of water, looks like it might have been underwater during Cyclone Carlos.
Found the cache although has been inundated during Carlos and container was full of water, drained but the log is waterlogged and may need replacing.
The cache notes made interesting reading. We enjoyed the peaceful area of bushland in which the cache is hidden. TNLN. thanks Gibbo003
Yet another almost drive-by cache. Parked about 3 m away from GZ this time! TNLN. TFTC
Good to have a reason to find out more about places I live near. Drove past this turn off often but never new where it went! Left TB USNNYW TFTC
Found the spot the night before but had to come back in daylight to spot the cache. beautiful spot! worth the trip. Fascinating place and history.
Wow did we drive around in circles trying to find this one! Turns out we were closer at the previous cache!

out hunting with JWstorming,
no wading this time like the last log entry.
I have finally seen the perfect use for a VB stubby (and that is not to drink the contents)

An interesting place and one that is not that visible and the old line must obviously cross the highway a little way towards Darwin.

Found it during our big holiday around Australia. Thank you all guys for your lovely caches. MaJa from the Czech Republic
Found without any problems. I was being closely watched by a couple of Whistling Kites. I don't think that they will say anything though!
The caching marathon continues (33rd). Found by youngest geodaughter @1710hrs. Found after a short walk through long grass.

Surprisingly when i arrived -with all the places it could have been and being in a hurry (which always seems to make it last longer) I put my hand right on it - well so i thought!! Then i put my hand on it!
Awesome - historically, not much of a scenic spot though!
T a tic tac (rofl)
L the shell necklace from howzat!
And we drove as close as to both spots, hubby hanging to get to Berry springs

Up here for work, on my way to Katherine and grabbing a few caches along the way. Thanks for the historic location, and an easy find without having to walk through the bush. Being from down south, I'm never sure what will bite or sting up here Left a coin that is seeking battlefields, so I brought it up here specially - not many opportunities to find battlefields in Australia.
this one was easy to see when we came up to it.

Last one for the day. We have just placed some caches in spots just like these in SA. En route to the cache, there seems to be a rather big water leek, which I dont think is meant to be. TFTC
Wonderful hiding place!! We all ha dto look around for a bit till we finally found it!!

We were happy the renter could get close to this one as the weather had become very humid and Diane was not looking forward to a long walk. Instead we had a very short walk to an interesting location. We often wonder why they did not use much of the old rail site as a lot of the work was already in place, but then again we are not engineers.
Thanks gibbo003 for another piece of history.

Good spot nice and high and dry, certainly shouldn't get wet although there was a lot of water around. Good spot thanks for the cache

Took a nice early, leisurely, Sunday morning ride to get a couple of rural caches. This is a great spot out of the rat race. Nice easy hide and it is great to see the top end getting back to the more traditional type caches. Great stuff and thanks Gibbo.

Whoops! Was negoitating the tracks to try to find "Howzat" cache, but seem to be getting nowhere close. Stopped to check GPSr yet again, and what's this. The next cache was appearing under our arrow! Oh, what's that to the right of the car.... 10m to the cache.
Bonus to get this one now. But never got close enough to the other. Cache was empty except for one TB and the log / pencil. So added some swag.
Interesting spot to take the 2WD rental car to (shhhhhh!)

Seems Gibbo has a bridge theme happening today, with the old favourite (rocks) thrown in - well and truly dark by the time I got to this one. Thanks for the cache and second FTF so late in the day. TNLN
