A quick visit after going to see the very wonderful "Where the wild things are?" with out wild things and their cousin. It's been Pokemon central at our place lately, and they were all keen to do some swapping. All up they left a badge, a figurine and some cards, and took a figurine and some cards.
Should of trusted co ords after solving puzzle instead of instincts, took some doing but found it. TFTC
Found with fellow cachers budgietas and Lego krew. Followed our noses (and compass) on this one. Local knowledge was a little help but not at GZ in this hiding spot!

Located at 1550hrs. Grew up in this area of Lenah Valley and spent many hours near GZ. Not into Pokemon as it is a decade or two after my time!! TNLN, TFTC and great memories.
Can I just confess straight out that I have no idea what Pokemon do, or why I should care. Can I also discourage anyone who reads that statement -- and decides that I need educating -- from acting on that desire, because I am quite happy to remain ignorant. I will concede that there was a (small) degree of cuteness in the pictures, but the really cool thing about all of this is realising (not for the first time) how amazingly useful Google is, and wouldn't it be terrible if the whole internet thing crashed in a screaming heap. Oh, we'd all have to go outside and play and talk to each other! What a shame!
Anyway it was fun solving the puzzle, and then SG-3 and I went and found the cache tonight, with SG-3 winning the lucky choice of getting the correct side. I have just now read Graham51's log, and we really hope that the tennis ball wasn't a swap. Ooops. SG-3 took the cache description at its word, wanted to throw a ball and this one was kind of handy. I was lazier and gave it a kick from its resting place after SG-3's efforts, and sent it off into the dark oblivion of the night. I'm afraid that come tomorrow it shall probably be providing someone else with entertainment. Thanks for the cache, red tag.

Ooooh, ooooh, oooohhhhhh... I've gotta do it:
Q: How do you get Pikachu onto a bus?
A: You Poke Him On!
Boom Boom!
OK, it's an oldie, but a... err... well... it's an oldie!
I solved this on as soon as it was published... and rather than find my solution when the opportunity presented itself to find it (who knows where I put it!?!?!), I decided I'd solve it again. It was just as fun the second time around!
'Twas fun find too, on a surprisingly low-stress numbers-run of sorts! Thanks heaps red tag, and SamCarter!

Of course I had heard of Pokemon before - was it the late 90's or the early 00.s? - but when I accessed the Pokedex I was amazed by how many characters there were. With some intuition and the internet the puzzle was solved easily enough and the likely location checked on Google Maps. On the ground the cache was easily found and the log signed. Was the tennis ball next to the cache a swap? Anyway, TNLN. TFTC.
Gee I (Will) have never watched pokemon so I had to do it the long way, a little slip up the first time around on checking the puzzel only one pic wrong so headed off again an the area seems right and it was

Had spent a little while solving this one so it was good to go to get it today. Found easily in the obvious spot. Thanks red tag.
As soon as we read about Pokemon Park, Louie and Dewey were straight on it. The Pokemon Strategy guide was straight out and the puzzle was solved without an attack being endured.
Last day of school holidays was the highlight Cache for them.
""I GOTCHA POKEMON PARK.""
And we left Octillery there to fight another battle.
Thanks Redtag

We revisited this cache today as we were passing by. The boys swapped a couple of cards each. Thanks for the cache.. again!
Another puzzle I slaved over to solve before my trip to Tassie. I am familiar with Pokemon but not that familar, so I had to recruit the assistance of 9+11 year old cousins. The threat of a big wedgie got the answers I needed!
A beautiful park and a fun clue, thanks!

Had this one worked out a while ago and finally got the opportunity to find it.
Many thanks.

This one was a bit of trouble. I thought I'd solved this, it seemed quite close to steganography so I headed out. Got to the suspected GZ and began looking, nothing turned up. Checked the hint, didn't really seem to help. Read some old logs and I was obviously in the wrong spot - but I knew where it was. As I was driving past to get to this cache I went past this park and thought to myself, I'm surprised there's no cache in there.
So, I drove back and parked and instantly saw something that fitted the clue, and had the cache in no time. A quick check of the coords showed me I'd picked the wrong bird thing and was off by 1. No matter, got there in the end! Thanks for the convoluted journey.

Yet another puzzle belatedly solved, TFTC red tag, no swaps today but loved the fact that I visit the building next to here every Friday and did not know this corner of the park existed.
To think that I once new all the original Pokemon, their attacks and their evolved states. Kids'll do that do you Lost interest though once the kids got bigger and they released another series. R13 had this solved ages ago, but he wasn't with me today and I didn't have any Pokemon things to swap. The blokes from the RSL seemed to pay some close attention to me, but I got out of their view pretty quickly. NOT done in a suit !!!
TFTC.

We solved this puzzle months ago. We finally got around to this side of town today. Nice interesting park. Nice hide, despite lots of muggles. TFTC Red Tag. TNLN
Finally went to this place and it was deserted, other times I have tried I would have had to fight my way thru the muggles.
Puzzle was done some time ago with some difficulty as all I knew about Pokemon was what I read in the cache description.
Thanks red tag

I can't say I know much about Pokemon but google can be your best friend sometimes and this is the third such puzzle based on pokemon that I have done around Australia.
It was a cool dampish day and as a result I had GZ area all to myself.
Thanks red tag.

The sun set just as we got here so had to go back for a torch! But an easy find in the end. Thanks for the cache!

I must say the day didn't start out too good...raining as well..so was pleased to find a normal cache in a normal spot... for a welcome change....and it was big enough for me to find....lol.
Enjoyed the clever puzzle...though no idea what pokemon is all about..but no need to...and enjoyed the location. So many thanks for the first find of the day...a day of so few as it turned out.TNLNSL TFTEC red tag Cheers.

Rated: for Overall Experience
I loved this cache! The puzzle was puzzling, yet straightforward to work out, then a lovely spot for the hide and that all made for a top cache! Thanks red tag - very clever! (Didn't know a thing about Pokemons, was amazed that there were so many, and found that I recognised a few from kids' drawings at school). Very enjoyable.
I'm afraid none of us are familiar with the phenomenon known as Pokémon. But a little research has made us comfortable with our ignorance. Sorry, I just don't get it.
But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the puzzle solving and the find.
We did.
The location was great too.
TNLN (we had nothing in keeping with the theme to swap)
Thank you red tag team.

Found this one when I was Mrs Cheesy Pig. I have struck out on my own and am now logging the caches I found in my previous persona (but not the ones found only by Mr Cheesy Pig of course)! Let me know if you would like me to find it and log it again but under my new name.
Had this one plotted when it first got listed, then got waylaid with work and forgot about it. Decided that right or wrong caches were going to be found today and replotted this one.
Once in the area a very easy find. No pokemons on me so TNLN, but did find a travelbug that needed moving.
Thanks Redtag another good one and an excuse for piglet to play on the slide, even if he was too "sweated up" to enjoy it.

Dropped in to drop off 147 East. As I drove off I thought the cacheWagon had a flat; actually it was excess bitumen adhereing to a tyre! Obviously it was VERY hot!
Sorry for the late entry, I haven't been home since we found this one. It was a great day out however, the weather was beautiful. We took along our sister and her nine month old little girl for their first taste of geocaching. My brother had a pokedex in his drawer from years ago so we busted that out, luckily the batteries still had some life. Good fun, thanks red tag.
Took some stickers for the baby and left some chinese luck coins (we didn't have anything pokemon related with us apart from the pokedex which my brother didn't want to part with )

Stopped here after the Haunting on the way home. Whilst looking for the cache, Mrs red tag rang to say where were we because Mr had arrived - a little late.
Found whilst on the phone, logged and returned. TNLN This is a nice park - didn't see any pokemon though. Thanks red tags.

It's hot. And I've been spending the weekend preparing Snuva HA for my new caching companion, Lottie. And it's hot. So I thought a quick break in the beautifully air conditioned cacheWagon was the go.
I crept up the sight, looking left and right for pokemon in the park. I stealthily retrieved the cache - and heard someone yelling 'OUCH OUCH OUCH!' behind me - was an attack taking place? I lurked behind a tree so I could plan my strategy and what did my eyes see? A muggle carrying his shoes and burning his feet on the footpath. (Did I mention it's hot?) All is safe, for now.
Thank you for the cache.

There was some strange Poke-karma at work today...
First, we're on the way back home after hiding Freddymjt's first cache, when we decide to stop off at a garage sale and end buying a collection of Pokeman cards for next to nothing. Freddymjt has been getting interested in Poke-things for a while now, but did not have any cards so this was a great find.
Then, after an action-packed day, we hop online to find out how to play the Pokemon trading card game, and what do we find... a 30 minute-old Pokemon-themed super-kid friendly cache. Unbe-flamin-lievable!
Between Freddymjt's new card collection and Gee-oh's help scanning through the Pokedex, we had our coordinates and were out the door quicker than you could say 'Jigglypuff'!
Freddymjt was pretty sure he saw something scampering around the cache. I wonder if it was perhaps 'Geodude' keeping an eye on us?
Oh, and for the record, the rumours that I am the mutant offspring of a 'Golbat' and a 'Torkoal' are completely baseless.
Thanks red tag for a great ending to a very fun day!

I'm happy that I got FTF. I got the stickers and I've already got my FTF badge on. Thanks to red tag. It was a lovely cache.
Woopee - a FTF for Team Gorbak. Excellent cache red tag. I took two pokemon cards, gee-oh took one set of stickers, and I left three pokemon cards.
