No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

28-Jun-11
Cache needs either immediate disabling, or possibly longer term archiving. Long run of DNFs, and the owner hasn't been active on the site for around 9 months. Cheers Gav

NOT HERE. We found it last year. IT IS NO LONGER HERE. DEFINATELY LONG GONE.

19-Jun-11
If the hint is literally correct this one has gone.

2.15 Attending the National Square Dancing convention in the area, and having finished dancing for the day Mrs X & Mrs 80 take on the caching challenge while Mr X and Mr 80 go do the male sight seeing bit. This being the first for our day it was very disappointing to have to admit to a DNF

Had a good hunt for this, but we weren't able to find it. Cheers Gav

Didn't bother on the basis of previous logs.

18-May-11
We sat, we procrastinated, we failed. We got down on our knees, and prayed for devine intervention ( and looked underneath while we were down there.) GPS took us to nothing, about 10 metres from the buildings. We used the clue, and checked all 3 nearby seats, even went off on a tangent, looking for someone named Seat who might have been buried close by.

Ahh well.

Cheers

I went out caching while on a business trip to Darwin. Hunted for a bunch but this is the only one I could find, and nearly didn't find this one. It had fallen and was lying on the ground. Signed log and replaced where I thought it had come from. TFTC

Yay! My first NT cache. Stayed at motel nearby for the night so got up early whole others were sleeping to pick the one up. Had me going for a minute, thought I was going to have to log a dnf but eventually found.
SL @ 0720, cheers

Took a while to find this even with the good clue ... TFTC

13-Jul-10
WP out in open area, so had to resort to hint. Found matching items 15m away. Muggle free for some time, so was able to inspect both fully. Toilets were locked, regretably.
Went to the stone option even further away, again no luck.

Nice Cache! Tagged along with fossickerpb on this one! TFTC!

This one really shouldn't have been as hard as I made it! GZ had me very close to the the burial plots, and I didn't see anywhere inviting me to sit! Eventually i had "just one last look" in the same places i'd looked thoroughly before, and finally found it.

Spent a great amount of time looking for this one however to no avail. Has it been muggled I ask?

21-Mar-10
I read the hint and then it was an easy find.
Thanks for the cache and showing this cemetery, it's always interesting to see one in an other country. Very different to Germany.
Greetings, Colonel Dago from Germany

Nice one TFTC

For us, this find turned out to be not so hard, after reading the reports of the co-ordinates for GZ being a bit out. After that, logic kicked in.

Thank goodness for the clue or I would have been digging up graves looking for this one! My GPS was about 10-15 meters off track. TFTC!

Spent some time hunting for this one and the way it was hidden made it harder to spot, cleverly executed hide. TFTC NTSTROM. [270]

Definately needed the hint for this one. In the end I had GZ at least 10m out. TFTC

08-Nov-09
Took a bit longer than planned as i just could not see it. finally found it after sitting on almost everything nearby. At least it was a quiet Sunday. TFTC

The hint helped us find our first cache and we are hooked. This gave us a feel for what to expect. great spot. WOPRRA and geoson Brodie.Big Grin

This one was way off from where that Dak took us. The hint gave it away.

05-Oct-09
As with many others my GPS was out, varied from 12m to 27m - what's with that anyway?

I used the clue and figured where it was. I knew it had to be there but couldn't find it, so I went for a walk around the cemetery. Cemeteries are fascinating places.. I think I must have wandered for close to an hour.

I went back to GZ and just looked at it for a while trying to figure where it would be. Something clicked and I tried a spot I'd looked, but hadn't got my hand in there and poked around.. and there it was.

A pleasant stroll through the cemetery to find this one. Fortuneately a truck was conveniently parked between me and workman muggles having a smoko at the table nearby. TFTC #1534

This one took a few minutes of searching as we were overthinking the hide a little. TFTC

There are two lovely rows of trees at gz, but they also effect reception something fearful! I quickly resorted to the good hint and soon had the cache. It appears that part of the attachment may have come adrift but all is well regardless with what is left..

09-Aug-09
Found it.
The Co-ords of GZ are wrong as others have noted.
A nice easy find if one has the Cache notes and the clue.

My first geocache but I couldn't locate the container. Is it in the toilet block or in the tree?

04-Jun-09
Just to be sure I went and checked on the cache. Yep, its still there in its original position and ready to be found.

03-Jun-09
Sadly it looks like the hiding spot for this cache has been taken away! there are marks on the ground where it used to be!.... no hiding spot, no cache!
but thanks for the great walk through the cemetery!

03-Jun-09
If there were marks on the ground where you thought it was, you were definitely looking in the wrong place. If in doubt, use the hintWink

22-May-09
I confess that I needed to use the hint to uncover this well hidden cache. As they say, nice place to visit, but......
Thanks NTSTROM!

I always enjoy going to cemeteries and a stroll around this one revealed some interesting things. Found the cache easily enough and ventured off for another walk.

Thanks for taking me there NTSTROM.

26-Apr-09
Had a good GPS reading but GZ is about 40 metres away and without the hint would never have found it. TFTC

26-Apr-09
Please remember that GPS signals DO NOT WORK WELL HERE. So far we have the following comments logged on the cache regarding the accuracy:
7-12 metres out
10 metres out
23 metres out
40 metres out
a bit out, and
spot on.
It is impossible to update the coords as you can see by the differences logged above. However, if you use the hint you wont go wrong!

19-Apr-09
Went to check on the cache today after the last DNF log. I can report that the cache is still in its original spot and is ready to find. Remember that your GPS will not read very well in this area and if you have trouble please use the hint which should guide you to the right area.

17-Apr-09
We went over yesterday but there were some men digging up next GZ , had to leave and we went back today but couldn't find the cache!! Searched and searched but no luck. We go home tomorrow, bad luck! Thanks.

Yep, GPS was way out, so the clue was used, and found it easily. Seems that there has also been some muggle finds! TFTC

Must be a good spot for the workers to have lunch as I too had to return for a nice easy find. Thanks.

08-Sep-08
I passed through here earlier in the day, but the grave digger and his mate were sitiing around the table close to GZ, so I returned later. GPS had me a bit out, so I used the hint. The cache was soon in hand.
Thanks, Robmc.

After overcoming the initial accuracy issues with the help of the clue [?] I had the wrong kind of container in mind [:o] Widened the search accounting for other possibilities and cache located, fortunately before the maintenance man arrived and re-hidden whilst he ducked out of view. Thanks NTSTROM FTC Big Grin

23-Apr-08
great hide, pity about the 23m accuracy issues! gps had us near a tree that had no obvious hiding spots! had to use the clue to get this one!

seems to be a morning for micros. GPS had me a long way from GZ. Lucky for the clue. Cool container and cool attatchment. T4TC.

12-Apr-08
Easy find if you use the clue. Not so easy if you don't as over head cover put the cache out by about 10 metres. Clever hide too.

Hey there! found after much circling and finally looked from another angle - realising it may not be attached how i assumed! there seems to be a 'decoy' in the area too! logged the find with a friend who is yet to sign up and make her username - will she have to go back to write the log?
Cheers!
