I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, hefalumps, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.

The cache owner needs to:

* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.

Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.

Alternatively:

* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.

In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by hefalumps and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Called by your cache today, but there is a smoulderingg fire at GZ. Where we expected to find the cache was just glowing coals.
This will need to be checked, I don't hold out much hope for it as there had been a number of DNFs previous to our visit.

I feel as though I found the spot.. but due to having a little slithery fella at the big black/crunchy place.. we stopped looking and aborted mission.

DNF. Convinced we found the spot. Nice to see though.

Finally got in here and found the cache. Unfortunately it’s a complete Petrie dish inside the log bag. I poured about 50ml of water out of the cache. I did like the location though. It’s probably the best location of the day though I don’t know if we were supposed to drive down there. TFTC. There was a croc trap set up close by

After visiting Fogg Dam early this morning, we decided to take a detour to this lagoon on the way back.
By the time we arrived, it was quite warm and the middle of the day so much of the birdlife was fairly quiet.
There has been a very recent fire at GZ, and in fact one of the trees nearby was still smouldering.
Some maintenance work needed to be done to maintain this one, so we have added a new clip lock bag and log sheet.
We entered the area on a dirt road at
S 012° 31.540' E 131° 10.035'
Although we could have driven further, we parked about 350 m from the cache so we could enjoy the walk.
Thanks hefalumps

TFTC great little lagoon with lots of bird life
Almost gave up on this one after spending aome time searching at an obvious spot. Looked for other places and finally found the treasure

Log was very wet. Have placed a new piece of paper and a pencil in container.

TFTC Interesting walk. Nice water view. cheers

Found while dodging trail bike riders with a hint from CeeJayDenno. Cache needs replacing very soon as the lid is a replacement held on by tape - it won't survive the wet season.

Bit of a hunt as I wasn’t sure how well the phone app GPS would work here.
Well I found it eventually, but a fire has been through here in last couple of months and the lid has melted off.
I can’t see this surviving the wet season without some maintenance. Either a new lid, or a completely new container.

The hint mad it easy to find. Very wet & we will try to come back during the holidays to replace as canister has broken lid & we didn’t have anything to replace it with.

19-Dec-18
after a game of golf this find was disappointing as lid was broken and contents of log was just pulp so a replacement is definately required

Found it. Log is very wet so we couldn’t sign it. Also lid is broken and ants have decided it makes a good home.

I am staying pretty much round the corner for a couple of weeks. I have the use of a bike so off I go. No problems getting there except for the sign. Oh well only a short ride in. There have been recent burn off around GZ, so that made it easy to look. Hoping it was still there, I widened the search slightly and was rewarded. Cache was full of water and log sheet beyond signing. Now all back again.
It will require some maintenance.

Couldn't get anywhere near where we needed too, it had a property in the way.

Went for an explore but failed to find it. I was looking at a massive big tree that had a little nook about 2m off the ground but alas I was in the wrong spot. Surrounded by 2-3min spear grass its one I'll need to adventure back to when its not so overgrown.

Today we explored Humpty Doo and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. A nice place to visit, worth the drive in!

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

19-Aug-15
As we drive close to GZ we can see a large smoke cloud menacing in the distance. Geochild and I assess safety and deem we have a good two hours before fire

18-Aug-15
Had a bit of trouble finding our way to GZ. The track that is flagged looks like private property. We eventually found our way up Pelly Rd. At the end, we turned right onto a track that takes you behind all the properties and right to the billabong. When we arrived, we spotted a poor dog which was stuck in the water. It's lead had tangled up and around all the water Lilly material and it could not move. It was a bit of a mission, but finally untangled it,much to our relief and his. Just one more thing we can add to our list of geocaching experiences. On to the cache, which was a quick find close by. Needless to say, that was the end of our caching day so that we could locate the owners of the poor dog. TFTC. It was a beautiful billabong.

Good hide and a lovely location. Replaced ziploc and paper, old ones were saturated. TFTC!

We spent quite a bit of time working out how to get to GZ. Once we had a plan of attack it was mozzie repellent on, grab a water bottle and head off. The cache itself was easy to find after a walk through some lovely country.

Today we drove to Humpty Doo to have a look around, check out the shops & find some caches.
Had a lot of trouble getting to this cache, as a lot of the roads were blocked off.
On arrival, as close as we could get, there is a sign stating that trespassers will be prosecuted.
We went anyway, as quick as we could.
Thanks for the cache, hefalumps.

15-Dec-12
Our first find for the day. Couldn't get near GZ the first way went as they were doing road works nearby. Finally got around another way. Like some of the others, were a little concerned about the sign there.
A nice quick drive by for us, then off to the next cache.

Well hidden, a good find with a lovely view!

22-May-11
i have to question if we are aloud into this area?[?], as there is a massive sign saying "private land, trespassers will be prosecuted'Surprised. but we took a stab at it, seeing as we drove all this wayWink. as previous log, gps was all over the shop, unless the cache has been moved (the place had smouldering logs everywhere from recent burn off), anyway found after a few minutes all in good condtion, despite the fire burn off.
TFTC.

The speargrass "is as high as an elephant's eye"... and probably because the approaching storm, the co-ords weren't all that accurate, but managed a find.

The track in was dry... but because the grass was so high, i didn't see a single bird... in fact, I could only glimpse the water in the billabong occasionally.

Great location - nearly didn't find it becasue we were using the hint and didn't expect to find it where it was, but we think it had lost its grip - so we have secured it again. TFTC and taking us to a new location.

My find No 1523, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

25-Nov-08
Nice easy find also in a place I haven't been to. Interesting cache container but the Cache is getting a little wet. It may pay to replace the container with something a little more watertight before the wet sets in. It would be a great spot for an ammo tin. Thanks again hefalumps for the cache and the hunt.

Yes we saw the birds, they were lovely. Its not so exciting when we do it during the day Razz It feels much more shadowranging doing it at night. Had to take the 121 4WD driving, no not really, its a good track. Thanks for the cache Hefalumps. You are very clever. FTF.
