The whole family was out in caching territory today, with twelve on the itinerary. The only cache on this side of the canal - the walk was well worth it when we came across an echidna crossing the road on his way to the water! Gotta love the stuff caching allows you to see . Once arrived at GZ it was a simple find after disturbing many cormorants, and Bro soon had the cache in hand and the logbook signed. TFTC OldSaint!
Quick stop on our way back from Port Arthur. Signed and returned. Nice views from here.
Hi OldSaint, thanks for the cache.I dropped off Davinells at Port Arthur to commence their Three Capes adventure, this morning, then met up with gooseandegg and stainless-steel-rat for a few caches at Dunalley, and of course obligatory lunch at the bakery.I'm back solo again and came here to hopefully clear this off my map. After startling a flock of cormorants, I made a quick find. Thanks for the nice views from here.Cheers,EPs
Today we arrived in Dunalley, it was a huge drive day from Primrose Sands . After setting up camp and heading out for a fabulous coffee we did a nice walk around the town. We collected a few caches and did the AL. We loved watching the seals by the bridge and seeing the swing bridge in action.Last find for today. Quick one here TFTC
Keeping my stats in order.I have run out of time to do full logs.FLTF.Thanks OldSaint TFTC.
I am traveling down the east coast of Tassie, and stopped the night in Dunalley.Decided to get some caches while I am here. Thanks to a distinctive pile of rocks, the cache was quickly located.
Couldn't find it, maybe others will have better luck. Had a good day geocashing in Dunalley with the family, this was our only DNF
It smells like aniseed after the weeds were cut back. Time for some beach walking and gin tasting
TFTC!
TFTC!
Found it, beautiful location, free oyster on the beach and watched over by two seals
A quick find on our way to Port arthur. Ticking off counties as we go a nice quick find, in a lovely area and the only cache in this county. A fav point for sure. TFTC.
I'm 2 for 2 re: turning Frowns upside down
A quick find and sign at 13:04 on TGIF 2021.

Would love to see boats coming through the canal. Fascinating area. Tfreplacingtc.
Hunted around near rocks and back at bridge. Not wasting anymore time on this one. Noticed 3 DNF before us.
Didn’t locate. Someone has use rocks to make a fire pit near by. Wondering if they stubbles upon it and took it????
After an awesome lunch at the town Bakery [^] i decided on this one but those rocks yielded no booty for me today.
It looks like some camping Muggles have had a bbq here [:o] There were even two old hotplates left behind lol.
They may have discovered the cache if that's where it was hidden... maybe.
I may be cache-blind too ha ha.
Will watch future logs.
TFT challenge anyways
{I love this area, the Denison canal and that swing-out bridge }

Looked all around but couldn’t seem to find it unfortunately. I wondered if it could’ve been picked up as rubbish, or maybe I just didn’t look properly enough. Hope the next seeker finds it much easier.
Hello, We found your cache on day #22 of our Lap year trip.
Selling up our hobby farm in South Gippsland and putting everything in storage we are now living on the road full time in our caravan and ‘doing a lap’.
Sorry for the generic log, time, data and reception are all factors in the decision to use a copy and paste log, we will always endeavour to leave a photo or two with each log and always leave a favourite point and unique comment(S) where applicable for the truly outstanding caches.
Earth, Virtual, letterbox handmade and Gadget caches are always at the top of the list for us to find.
Thank you for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to find today.
Cache needs some love it’s wet

Didn't sign log soaked and mushy. Stuff it lets go around Australia found while touring Tas. Love the sound of the car tyres on the bridge.
This was odd, think I’m on the wrong side to where to car was navigated by the fish market
Am keen to get the coordinate clues for the Marion Bay cache so looked for this one today, as it in one in a series (of 3 I think ) Log was wet and unsignable but luckily clues were still readable on inside cover of log.
Heaps of rubbish here - someone had been camping and left lots of rubbish, including their dismantled tent! ️ So disgusting. Picked up what I could. I always get so despondent and embarrassed when I go to caches that have lots of rubbish about (especially when we have lots of mainland and international tourists doing geocaching too)
Here’s an idea - if we all just picked up one or two pieces of rubbish when we go caching, it might help to make Tasmania look like its reputation - clean and green. Just a thought.

Found this morning on my campervan relocation adventure.
Log was soaked, so have left a scrap of paper. Following finders will be able to see what sort of food I like my shopping list is on the other side

No two ways about it ! We had to stop for this one. A bit scrappy inside and wet ! Not a big fan of mint tins for this reason. Might help if the tin was in a zip lock bag as well. TFTC OldSaint.
Found on this quite Monday morning very overcast but no wind log dry but full TFTC
Out & about with my friend, Runsis, doing a bit of sightseeing & caching...
We walked down to this one with views of the Fish Factory on the other side, after parking along the roadside...
A quick find...

Mr and Mrs banian's visit to Tasmania for a bit of a look around and a cache or two.
Arrives as a boat was passing through, we were back up the road so could only just see what the bridge was doing.
Signed log, TFTC OldSaint.
