Out for a long bike ride. and finding a few geocaches along the way.No problems finding this one.
A lovely park with fantastic play equipment for little Butterflies. Left a dinosaur footprint sticker in the logbook. TFTC.
I have driven past this one multiple times, there was always someone in the park playing with their your kids. Today after working nearby I once again drove past to discover a deserted GZ. I found the cache positioned safely or comfortably somewhere and it is now ensconced where i found it
Last day of my Mega experience in Adelaide I decided to stay local and pick up some urban caches before returning the car and heading back to Brisbane.Upon arriving at a suitable spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero whereupon it did not take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and mark made, I was quickly back to the car and off on the next geocaching adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache and making it available to be found.Cheers
Last evening in Adelaide collecting a few stray caches in and around our accommodation as part of the BOLD09 circus troupe. The last supper and fill of firewater was held at a nearby pub that welcomes Qlders unlike another pub encountered today. Then we hit the streets to cache before heading back to the cot. Thanks e.gregory1 for entertaining us locally!
Oh My, not sure what day number it is or what caches I did yesterday, been caching for a while and the days and the caches just run into each other. With the Leap Day event over and the Grapes done yesterday, I am looking forward to a morning of small walks and then to finish the day off with some target caching around town. It will still be a long day as well that's what I'm here to do, lol. To save space on log sheets we signed as BOLD 9. Adelaide is proving to be somewhat of a great place to live. The atmosphere and the people seem to be just nice. While i have ventured out of town a little there are some really nice pockets, I will admit there does not seem to be any bad areas as such that I have come into. Thanks for the caches today and the hides, all were replaced as they were found, sorry for the generic logs but I did find a good number again today.
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday. All challenges will be checked for qualifying at a future time.
BOLD9 having a fab time in Adelaide and surrounds. Lots of laughs and some brilliant inventive caches.!thanks to all the COs
Out and about collecting more smilies in the Adelaide area. Signed with Leap mega team nickname BOLD9. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.Found while looking for a lab cache.
Date: 1 March 2024 Time: 3:03 pmFind #14815Last day in Adelaide with the team for the great leap forward, a more casual day, caching today with Earthbound Chief, BeckNmonts and Team_Crumble, just chosing some select caches along our way. Another fun day caching.Massive thanks go to EsromL for placing this one. ??
Yesterday we attended the Mega event "The Great Leap Forward" and then met up with Ahomburg, BeckNmonts and Earthbound Chief for a day of driving, walking, eating, getting too much sun once again and of yes - caching!Today we set out to do it all again - more coffee, more sun, more walking, more laughing and more caches.Thank you e.gregory1 for placing and maintaining this cache for our fun today.
Today we found Ensconced on our travels. On a brief visit to Adelaide for Leaping Forward so many caches, not enough time! Thanks e.gregory1 for being part of our geocaching fun.
Out with spenna1211 finding this one. Had to explain to a muggle what geocahcing was all about. They had no idea that it existed.Thanking you for the Traditional Cache that you placed EsromL
Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and Im now in Adelaide for a week.Well it is half way through Mega week for me and I have had a lot of fun with lots of different caches along the way.So after being with Roaming Howie for a day of LGAs and other caches on Monday. Then a day up north with GARP (Gemma, ahomburg, Roaming Howie and Posums) yesterday for the Premiers of South Australia series and the Its a small world series yesterday. Now its time to head even further North for The Sad Fisher series, part of Postman Pats Mail Run series and for some of the Gone Fishn series as well.GemmaSistema joined me again as my navigator and we met up with The Tritonz, Roaming Howie and TheBelgainKet at Port Wakefield for breakfast. So off we went and it was getting hot and dusty and thank goodness for the aircon in the Geowagon and there was also plenty of banter over the 2 ways along the way.So after 2 and a bit of trail caching GemmaSistema and I tapped out and we parted ways with the others to take a more relaxed afternoon of caching to check out the sights of the area and to slowly make our way back for the first official event. We are back in the burbs and are nearly at the event destination but as they say there is always time for a couple more. Thanks e.gregory1 TFTC.
Found in the company of vk7hch as we make our way to the evening meal in the north of the city. Thanks for the cache!
A few quick caches about the traps with Posums as we zig zagged to the event. Neat grounds here. Thanks for the cache.
We had a couple of hours before today's event and decided to find a handful of geocaches in the vicinity. Nice hide - TFTH and fun!
Quick find on a beautiful day. With spidersgeorg, treesforlegs, and HotelAlphaNectar. TFTC

First Cache Hunt. Beautiful Park and beautiful sunny day. Thankyou, will never forget this one ️
After 2 failed attempts at other caches, I was determined to find one to cross of the 25th February. So off to this park we went, I figured with 1 traditional and 2 stages of an adventure lab, we had to be on a winner. This one was found first, then It was up the the muggle cousins to answer the questions to the others. I would say mission accomplished. TFTC.
I was passing, and thought I’d have a look, not holding out much hope as it is a glorious Sunday afternoon. There were some people in the park, but as soon as I sat down, they all left, and so the hunt was on.
“Ern Sconce” sounds like a contrived name, a villain from a pantomime maybe, but no, there’s his name in big letters as you enter the park. I bet he got ribbed at school.
Thanks for the hide EsromL/e.gregory1 - eleven years, well done!

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 178. Blackwood Day 2. After a family morning, I decided to spend a bit of caching in the west of the city area by Port Road. I fixed a DNF from last year and found a few areas I have not been to before. A nice warm day to be out and about in sunny Adelaide.
Another small suburban park, but I had to wait for a family to collect all their stuff from all over the place and head off. When I had an all clear spot, I soon located the cache.
Thanks for the cache e.gregory1

Looks like this cache has been muggled.
Under the table is the Velcro which I believe the cache would afix, but no cache sadly

I couldn’t find this one on Easter’s Sunday . Sorry for late notice. I think where it could be under the table but only Velcro was there.
Moxie and I enjoyed a wander around this cute little park as the sun set. Thankfully not a muggle in sight so we were able to sign and head off without issue. Tftc
Thanks EsromL for the cache. I have been to the park previously, looking for the cache when it was elsewhere, or should have been, but had been muggled. This is a much cleaner, more comfortable find now! Thanks for maintaining the cache, in this quiet, peaceful park. (Well, I'm sure it is normally quiet. Today there was a jack hammer being worked, out of sight, behind the park fence.)
Out with Peas&CarrotsForever to assist with finding this one.
GZ had moved since I found it, so it was fun looking for it again.
Another smiley
Thank you for looking after this cache Esroml.

Had looked for this before but too many muggles to get to it. Today was lucky and just a couple of teens sitting with their backs to us, so we were successful. TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 15:20. Fancy two Adventure Lab stages and a Trad all here. What a lovely little park, and it was almost deserted this afternoon. Our thanks to e.gregory1.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC e.gregory1
