The not-so-stealthy member of our team asked if we could find a cache or two after a nearby appointment. We chose the closest and headed off to GZ, after a while we met another caching family when their youngest found it. Cache was signed and placed back and off we went to enjoy a very windy walk. TFTC
Arrived at GZ to find another team on the hunt! We hunted around the place for a while before the smallest member of our two groups yelled out, "I've found it for real this time!", and low and behold he actually had! Windy but beautiful day for cache hunting!
This must have been our 5th or 6th visit. 1st couple of times it was occupied by someone who had made it his home. After a couple more searches, and a long time around the GZ, we failed, time after time. With a little help from the CO, thanks Dave, we pulled up this morning, went straight to it and explained, how did we not see it!!Staying in Semaphore house/ pet sitting hoping to do a lot more this side of town.Photo taken last night from our balcony
Found this one at 01.00 this morning while on my way home from work.Funny how many geocachers are out & about at this time of day. I often see suspicious cars near a known hide while driving home.It took a few minutes & I can understand why there are a couple of DNFs.Filmore
First find on the second half of year 2024.I heard a news that there is a new playground just opened. So this Sunday morning, we took our child to the new playground. After we enjoyed our time in the playground, I checked if there's a cache nearby before heading back to the carpark area. This cache is not far from the playground. So, I had a try.Considering the last two cachers DNF this cache, and many cachers took several visits to find this cache, I am not confident to find this cache on my first attempt. But unexpectedly, I found the cache easily. The hint helps. And there were not many visitors nearby.I left my pen in the car, so I walked backed to the car, to get a pen. After signing the log book, I placed the cache back. For the future cachers, the cache is not out of reach, and no tool is required to get the cache. Thanks for the cache, doineedthis. It is orange, as mentioned in the title.PS: I took a photo (in the playground) nearby, as in attachment.
The last time I was here to look for this one, the area was occupied by the infamous 'homeless guy'. As I wanted to avoid any invasion of privacy, I moved on to other mint tins up the shoreline.Today, after a pub lunch over the road at the Largs Pier Hotel, I checked around and finally located the orange M.T.Glad to have this one completed. Thanks DINT
I was pretty sure I wouldnt be successful here, but decided to give it a try anyway.
Finally after a couple of attempts. Out with Normanville to do a little caching. Some previous logs & photos pushed us in the right direction. It was still tricky & afterwards I thought how did I miss that before. Oh there were markets on the foreshore however we remained focused & moved on to the next cache. Tftc
Working my way North and I had my eye on 3 possibilities when parking here. A solved Multi, a DNF'd Trad and this one. Got down and sandy and couldn't see anything likely. Upon looking back towards the water the cache was spotted, extracted, signed and replaced. Nice one!Keen to maintain my current SA streak (a modest 12 days but hey, happy with that). The nature of my work pattern today means a trip into work, back for some office type stuff, then back into work again later before some more office-based evening catch-ups. What this means is . . . . .having an hour or so to find some caches in the hottest part of the day! Just enough caches to round out the stats and clear a part of the gameboard North of me. Thanks to the COs, as ever.
Looked for awhile and couldnt find it. Idk if its been taken or we just bad eyes but yeah we tried.
#602 9:43 pm1 March 2024 1:00pmReturned with janjorjack and jtee to find this cache. Thanks for placing this cache doineedthis
Found with two amazing Canadian geocachers who were in Adelaide briefly to attend the mega "A Great Leap Forward".Located whilst in the area attending a post mega lunch event at the sea side. Thanks so much doineedthis for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Tricky! Day 7 in Australia and it is a day to explore Adelaide then we fly out to Hobart. . We are aiming for all the cool caches nearby as well as many different types. We have found the cachers around here super friendly and helpful. Thanks for the smile
a bit of searching but we finally found it with janjorjack. good-looking and flake2rule..thks for the fun
This cache was one of those found around or on the leap day February 29th, 2024 before, during or after the Mega event in Adelaide. Many thanks to all those owners who placed caches that VK7HCH and I found during our trip from Hobart to the Mega and return home again.
Found on our travels through Rad-elaide. Lovely beach to take the pooches for a splash. Forgot to log from our find on 21/02/24, thanks for the cache!
Found it! Accurate coordinates, found it eventually.. well hidden and after disturbing a sleepy lizard! Today is forecast to be fairly warm so headed to the coast with the aim of finding as many caches as possible starting from North Haven and heading south along the coastline. TFTC!
This one took us a bit! We definitely crawled in much further than we had to. A PAF to James0116 and we had it in our hands. TFTC
Found as a part of a group visit while at the nearby event. Thanks for the cache doineedthis.
Great HideThanks doineedthis for the cacheJames0116Sunday, 31 Dec 20238:38:24am ACDT3959
This morning I was in the North Western suburbs to attend a CITO event but I arrived early so I could grab a few smilies before the event. Very tricky. I needed some help from fellow CITOers but got it in the end. Thanks for the cache doineedthis.# # #13913 # #
That other cacher was me!! doineedthis, I found J.A.orange.M.T today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
A beautiful day with great company at a nearby event. This cache was decidedly more difficult to find than first anticipated but certainly in an amazing spot considering the amount of people who frequent the area near GZ. Suitably impressed today with this find! Fave. Then had the fun part of putting it back when another cacher came by and wanted to collect it as well!! TYFTC SL TN LN
Walked over to this cache with a group of cachers and it was located quickly. Nice to change a blue sad face to a smiley.Nice hide.TFTC
We had been here before but didnt look as it seemed to be a private residence. The resident has moved on , we spent 15 minutes and thought we might come back after the school holidays, with less traffic over our heads. We moved on to the nearby playground.
Thanks for the cache!
Pineapplegoldy and AUSSIESPARKIE is at it again. Was a great winters day to get out side and find some caches!

This afternoon _staas swung past home and we both headed off to the jetty for a look.
OMG how did I miss that?? Was it that early I wasn’t quite awake yet? Had my geo senses not yet sparked to life? Who knows.
Thanks for the support _staas, we found it

Ive looked for this one before but I was time poor that day and failed. Today with more time on my hands I was going to stay until I found it and thankfully I did. Not without getting very Sandy . TFTC
Such a beautiful day for a walk. I walked along the path from Semaphore to Largs enjoying the sun (and a large ice cream). There were a few caches along the way which also added to the walk! As I got closer to GZ I started to read a few logs and it is was clear where I needed to be. Trusting the coordinates I had a look around and it was more by luck than anything else that I saw the cache. I was surprised it didn't take me too long, though I did have the area to myself! TFTC doineedthis
Out getting in the recommended 10,000 and checking on this one after three DNF’s. All good here
Checking in this one after the recent king tide, all good here. Dropped in Travel Bug Origins Tag
Another find made as we cached our way south along Esplanade this morning .
Looked for this one several weeks ago without success , so came back today with fresh eyes to look again . As with last time, we looked for a very long time, but managed to spot the sneaky hide this time around .
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Doineedthis.

Had this on my list to come find. Despite spending about 10 minutes no luck. Will have to come back again another time
Put the ute in for a service & new tyres. Organised a day of caching with earthlight.
Caching around the Port and surrounding area.
Had to read back through logs because previous finder earthlight did not remember the hide. Nicely hidden.

Been a bit motionless today, so out to get the recommended 10,000 and check on the caches, all good here
PrezDough and I had a look before ParkRun and another after…
Still perplexed as to it hiding spot…
Oh well, another time.

Oh well, another time.
Sadly a DNF here. We looked once before parkrun and again with a more detailed search afterwards.
It must be well hidden or not where we thought it was.
Maybe another time. We shall keep an eye on it.

With our search guided by comments in previous logs it didn't take too long to locate this cachec- the colour certainly helped. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks doineedthis for the cache and series.
