Needing numbers for my next milestone, I met up with wayn0 to ride the Redlands trail. This one took a while, we wandered around the bush for a while, sent off a PAF who came back with enough information and we finally found the tiny thing.Tftc OddiewanFind #4889
This was a very hard find. But with the hint and looking over the log it was found with Obsidian. Signed and placed back. Thanks for the cache
This turned out to be an interesting detour. I rolled down the dirt trail on the ride back, and parked the bike in the shade. Then started to look around.A small mammal met its end here and there are fur and bones scattered about. So much fur. I was trying not to step on it. After searching for a few minutes, I looked at previous logs and wandered further away from the posted coords. Spotted the cache in a peculiar location but it does look like the original tether Tree damage may have altered the hide. It wont take much for the cache to come adrift.TFTC Oddiewan

Out geocaching with Geo friends and had the use of one of their e-scooters which made this trail much easier than walking.
Made a quick find. Log signed cache returned.

On our way back through the track, we found it after widening our search, tftc!
Finally back in the Redlands to finish off some of the series. You are so lucky to have these great cycle trails. Have to admit to caching blindness for a while and then I turned around and there it was. My coords were a bit, that's my excuse anyway. TFTC
TFTC smile 16201 out and about with miss millie geo dog on a lovely day With Imbunda on the south side some were easy other were hard
Signed and replaced, sign as GS1947 on small caches
Thank you, Oddiewan, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

7/11/22 stopped by this one the other day but it was dark. Came back in the daylight and spotted after a short search. TFTC
4th find of this series today.
The type of cache you spot within minutes on a lucky day or the type of cache you never find on an unlucky day. With the overcast sky playing havoc with the GPS, I was about 5m from actual GZ when the device had me at 1m. Luckily, I looked across the landscape and spotted the little guy hanging.

#14 out on the geo-scooter.while out on the geo-scooter today. Decided to head south-east for a few. Easy find. TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFT
We have just returned from having lunch . Back to get some more smiles. Gotcha ,we went around in circles for a small amount of time before we spotted the cache.
Nice day for a ride after this mornings fog.
Eventually you say, I give up, just then you see it
While we are in the area we have been doing a few bike trails , this one was a good workout, hides were all fun.
Few quite tricky ones to mix things up a bit

Happy Days! Found within a minute...must have been the light
I certainly couldn't find it last time I was here.
Sure helps to bring the rest of the team with me.
Thanks Oddiewan

GZ had us about 5 meters off but once we extended our search in circles we found it!
Staying nearby and decided to walk this series. Quite a long way and some uphill. We enjoyed the ambience along the way and the variety of hides kept us challenged and entertained. Thanks Oddiewan fav point alloc
Today i was visiting a friend nearby and i wanted to see what this bike track was like as i have it on my list to do seeing bike riding is one of my favorite things. At GZ it took me ages to spot this nasty little nano but when i saw it i was super happy. Seems the cache has its lid back and all is good. Cant wait to get back here for a bike ride. Thank you for placing this trail here for us to enjoy and this sneaky cache.
Today I decided to head out on 2 wheels and grab some caches. As per the previous log all that remains here is the top part of the cache, no log to sign. Tftc Oddiewan
Found this one though the case for the nano fell out of my pocket and is nowhere to be seen. I will of course replace as soon as possible but have taken the log as there is no way to keep it intact without the lid. Have left the original nano in the exact same location for others to find even in the absence of no log.
This morning, I joined Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) with a morning of finding the *Cycling the Redlands* geocaches series. The rain had magically disappeared from the start of our ride, and it was an enjoyable group session. I then managed to target a few older geocaches in the area before heading home.
In the afternoon, jesswrigley and I headed out and took a walk along Enoggera Creek in The Gap, finding a few of the *On Your Bike* series from #11 to #6. Again, the rain stayed away long enough to have a decent walk along this stretch whilst passing by many muggles similarly enjoying the afternoon.
Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) consisted of bedmakerTG, DisSister, eatmorchikin, JQTB, La Kedi, nikid1, TaxisVW and DrPam, and teamdfl, as well as our esteemed leader Ruzzelz. Meeting at Scribbly Gums, we rode to the eastern end of the trail, with the plan to ride west and collect the caches in the series. We took a coffee break in the middle of the series at the nearby Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre, as well as a few miscellaneous geocaches that we encountered along the way. In total, we rode an approximate distance of 20 km.
We stopped off at this geocache, and it wasn't too long until we managed to make the cache find reasonably quickly. It was a nasty size and sneaky hide, so I think I got lucky in making this find on behalf of the group. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and we signed as *RRG* / *RR* to preserve space in the logbook. Thanks Oddiewan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I ride Scribbly Gums usually every second month so I have been cruising ride past a few of these caches on a couple of occasions. With the New Year fast approaching I decided to test the water on whether a few like minded geocyclists would like to complete the trail.
Now the weather was not looking good but as the ride leader i was duty bound to turn up. Right on cue at the designated start time the rain cleared and a group of many set off to clear the Cycling trail to Redlands.
We set off from Scribbly Gums heading East and then back West to collect caches. After the final western Cycle trail cache four of us pushed on to seek additional caches.
ruzzelz raining (not) ride group all had a great morning on 2 wheels including a diversion to Alex Hill shops for a group session at the coffee shop.

I put my hand up when the call was made as to who would be up for a bike ride around this part of the Redlands.
We all headed out today and found quite a few caches.
Some easy, some hard but all thoroughly enjoyable.
Logs all signed RRG for our group of cyclists.

Joined an enthusiastic group of cyclists to make the run through the trails here, stopping every so often to take a wander into the bush or ponder a structure. A great variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward. Thankful that many eyes made short work of the hunting in most instances and that the rain kindly stayed away. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space. TFTC Oddiewan
To finish off the year, a group of about 15ish of us got together to cycle this great little bike trail, despite heavy rain trying to discourage us right up until the minute we left! Fortunately, it stopped raining long enough for us to complete our 30km exploration of the area, with many finds along the way. As always, we got to catch up with old friends and make new ones, though cycling in such a group made chatting a bit of a challenge, though social distancing easy. TFTC, Oddiewan. =^.^=
A call was put out on Facebook to join up for a bike ride and do this series. Still with a few days of rec leave left I couldn’t refuse. There were familiar faces and a few new ones which is one of the reasons I like these type of events as you can never know too many cachers.
In all we did 20km of riding (we did have to detour off the track for a coffee break)
Logs signed as RRG to save on log space.
TFTC Oddiewan for putting out this series.

My previous bike was a Felt Decree, who was monikered Declan. Awesome bike.
Found with a large group of crazy pedalers today. Logs all signed RRG for the group. I don't think I actually found any of the caches myself. I was close at a few, and added our team log to some. Many I did not get near as the group often made for quick finding.
Thanks for the series and the effort to put out so many caches.

After moving the car, it was a short walk to GZ…
A nano in the bush… well there goes another kitten… I actually walked past this cache… twice… before finally spotting it…
Thanks Oddiewan… I’m learning so much about bicycle manufacturers…

Out on a bike ride this morning with chamad tackling the new bike series, along with a couple of others along the way.
A great variety of hides in the series, some very clever ideas among them.
Thanks Oddiewan for the great series.

A morning of caching with willis007 and a day for a leisurely Sunday bike ride. A ride from Capalaba to Cleveland enjoying the recent trail of caches on the bikeway. A nice variety of caches, some very tricky hides and some not so hard. It was a fun morning and by the end of the trail, we were done. We were planning on another ride further afield, but we were feeling a little lethargic from the heat and the humidity and called it a day. We still managed to grab a couple of the older caches in the area on our around and towards home. We were happy with our haul today, we got to take it easy and enjoy the caches and the surrounds.
This was the next in the run of caches along this trail. I saw something that resembled a previous find and in the direction my gps was pointing. Looking in there and nothing, looking further around and the nasty was spotted. Thanks for the hide and with the log signed and cache replaced as found, it was onto the next one.

Another long search for this nano and I spotted it where I thought I had searched previously.

We found it on the ground. The twig it was attached to had broken off. We found a similar one and made it more easily found than on the ground. Lucky find I think. TFTC
Back here for a second attempt at this little one.
It was far easier today compared to last.
Thank you for hiding this geocache Oddiewan

Not cycling but certainly getting some decent bipedal exercise today!
NASTY nano indeed!
The compass kept changing it's mind and had us back & forth & round & about for several minutes before Mrs VC spotted the wee beastie in the first spot we had looked or should I so overlooked? [?]
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Days are getting longer now so when I got home from work I scooted off to get a few of these close by caches. I found this one after quite an intensive search as it looked like rain was coming and it was dark by now. Oh so tiny. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
A very very tricky find. What’s tree coloured and hangs from a zip tie???
Look to the south of a bouncy GPS.

No good for us today and another DNF. Based on the size of some of the others in this series we knew we were going to have trouble finding this "little" one hanging in the MANY, MANY possibilities at gz.
Will have to try again another day.
Thanks for placing the cache oddiewan.

I noticed these new caches yesterday afternoon and assumed they’d be found before now. But when I woke up and saw that they hadn’t been found, I decided to head over for a bike ride before work.
I spotted this one very quickly. Thanks for the cache

Goodness me, a nasty nano in among dozens of trees. The cycling legs started to cool down a bit too much. Couldn't spot anything. My kingdom for a preform tube, these nanos are a bit tiring
