A bad day to be caching, but there was a break in the rain so we decided to give this one a go. Saw it straight away, which was lucky as it began to drizzle again as we got back in the car. A very clever hide, excellent. Thanks for the cache stainless-steel-rat!

hi stainless-steel-rat, thanks for the cache, and well deserving of a favourite I reckon. As well you now, I was on 'the other side' with my water bottle this morning, but with other priorities I only found one new drop, then the lure of a wet, cold, miserable wintery day (and a weekend) meant ideal conditions for a muggle-free search for this cache. So I moseyed on over to the dark side in the new chariot - arriving with not a soul in sight and found the cache very quickly in the first place I put my hand, after discounting it visibly upon approach.Great hide, I like it!Cheers,EPs
Izzy touched this one first. Didn't move so didn't think much of it and moved on. Along came Scoot and it appeared this was indeed the cache.Easy but tricky at the same time!!This was a nice little cache Izzy has wanted to do, and being a bit under the weather it was the perfect drive out without doing much walking.
Wow Another brilliant cache by the Stainless Steel RatI was lucky that I put my hand on it very early on and found the cache more by accident than good designThanks for the great cacheHave another favorite Point
Thanks for the cache SSR.I do love a long weekend - you just seem to be able to get so much done, and actually get on top of all the annoying jobs you need to do around the house. I've had a pile of 'stuff' in my garage that I have been waiting for an opportunity to recycle/dispose of. Today was the day! - so after a visit to the waste transfer station further up the road, I decided to stop by and see if I could find your cache. Being a weekend all was quiet, so no issues with muggles. A clever hide - not seen this type before - have a favourite.
This recently published cache was in the vicinity of where were caching today and we took the opportunity to seek it out. Accurate coordinates and a complete absence of muggles led to a quick find of a a boldly hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks stainless-steel-rat for this enjoyable cache - it earns a favourite from us.
Today we headed out from Sorell to find a few caches. We couldnt go very far as our car insurance was a drive less pay less deal which runs out on Saturday and we only had 50kms left.we finished the day today with 6km for tomorrow. Great planning I think .We found a few challenge caches and went on a nice walk by the freeway. We found all the caches that we looked for which was a bonus. This was the first find for today, husband had to assist me after I had discounted this urban hide. I felt like I was in the BFE Adelaide badlands here but this wasnt a BFE hide, he definitely would not have a hide like this. TFTC
Hello stainless-steel-rat thank you for the cacheThis one took a little while to find.In the end I found it in the first place I looked.Found on Tuesday, 04 June 2024 at 1912**TFTC**
We took Miss J to work at some ungodly hour for a lazy Sunday. I say 'took' but she drove - and I sat in the back! Then I had to join the track-pants parade through 'the slands' to Kmart with the egg to return some unwanted goods. Could this day get any worse?Thankfully the worst was over and we were headed for home. As a reward, and to help get my blood pressure under control again, the egg took me to find this cache. A quick find was followed by a hesitant return. I sat in the egg crate and logged it with my own pen that I brought from home (surprise ) but then some council 'workers' were leaving the depot, chatting outside for ages so I waited until the coast was clear to return it.A clever and bold cache that deserves another favourite point. Thanks SSR
I loaded this one not far from home on Thursday 30 May and saw where it was. Knowing what this area is like during the week i said to myself: "I think i'll wait till Sunday arvo to grab this one" Fast 4wd to today, Sunday 2 June 2024, after lunch whilst on my way to the 2nd Chance Reuse Shop, i parked up the GeoMobile close by and made my way over to GZ to make a quick find with no Muggles whatsoever, it was like a Ghost Town at the time i found and re-hid the cache (as i like it). I loved the hide a Fave Point for this one. I don't wanna give a thing away so i'll leave it at that TFTC, SSR and for making my Sunday Arvo ....still smiling about it all the way down to the new Multi at a popular lookout on the South Arm Peninsula
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit. While out and about in the area with whitewebbs we made the tricky hide late in the day as there were no muggles about. Yep a different cache hide, right there, and adding to our favourites. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks stainless-steel-rat for your cache placement.
Just on dark we made a quick find of a well constructed cache. Deserves a favourite. TFTC
