What a great cache for your milestone hide. Very clever. Had this cache set aside and I am so happy this is the cache to mark my 2 year streak finish. Lots of challenge caches from Victoria NSW and USA have helped me achieve this.
Thanks you whitewebbs for the cache, and congratulations on 10,000 finds!I can remember attending an event which counted as my 500th find, and for yourselves it counted as your 5000th find - I can remember thinking "that is so many finds".At the time I had found I was 4500 finds behind you, and I had only found 10% of the caches you had found. Now I'm 5000 finds behind you, but I have found 50% of the numbers of caches you had found (or a little bit less as you have made a few more recently).I've loved finding all your caches, and I've loved sharing this wonderful hobby with you guys. Here's to many more.....A favourite from me
I was in Lauderdale filling up at the BP and decided to go across to this new hide to try my luck. Not a Muggle in cooee when i walked up to this new hide.Found in about 20 seconds, which i was happy about and was smiling upon discovery of it... nicely made indeed Signed the logbook at 14:11 on Sunday 4 August 2024 and replaced as found.Congrats on your 10,000 finds. (It'll be a while before i get there lol) TFTC whitewebbs
Hi whitewebbs, congratulations on the 10K milestone. I was chuffed when you chose one of mine as 10,000.Conversely, I was disappointed to have missed out on finding this yesterday - the same day you found mine - as I was in the area, after a walk in the Cape Deslacs area.So knowing gooseandegg and I would be sorta nearby here today - albeit somewhat impromptu - so I suggested a small detour to search for this.A quick find for the goose.A fav for the milestone hide.Cheers,EPs
Now that you are sitting on exactly 10,000 finds, it was the perfect day to find this cache. EeePees picked me up on the way through (I'm officially not allowed to drive while on light duties) and we were soon at GZ. A quick find once we arrived then it was off for of a bite of lunch.Congratulations Whitewebbs on ten thousand GC finds.
Thanks whitewebbs for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, 10,000 Finds, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #1840 at 18:51 on 29/7/2024. Congrats on the milestone FTF: Found with: selfWeather: coldMuggles: noneLight level: darkCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
**FTF** 10.30pm After a successful; orienteering day in the sunny north returned to a wetter and colder Hobart. In the warmth of home, getting bored by the rowing, skateboarding and the gymnastics at the Olympics, when this cache appeared on our radar. After a little thought decided that we knew the area well and a night search, even in the rain, was likely to be successful despite the published "degree of difficulty". At GZ delighted that our line of thinking was correct and came upon a likely object which revealed the log. Quick sign and back to the warmth of home. Many congratulations to both of you on your soon to be reached milestone and thanks for supplying us with many interesting caches. It takes a good deal of effort to get so many caches and we wish you many more as you participate with us all in the adventure.TFTC and a favourite to add to the congratulations.
This cache was flagged in my email on Sunday evening, and I knew I would be out that way on Monday, so kept it in mind. I was sure someone would have found it before me, thinking earlier in the morning, but not at 10.30pm the night before Some people are keen!Relatively quick find, and a very clever hide TFTC
