We drove in here, because this cache is on our very-old-list. But no activity in almost a year? Impossible we think! Had a good look around, but nothing to be found. Maybe there is a new farm owner? Seems there have been some replacements already and it keeps disappearing.

Made the right call as to the direction to GZ. A nice park and GPS had me going to a likely spot. Yes there it is.
Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks and now for a swim at Berry Springs.

Found on our mini geo tour today while in Darwin for work. Left a pathtag. I think it’s great that these geo’s are scattered everywhere to give us something to do on our days off. TFTC
Returning from a wonderful few days exploring Litchfield NP, we decided to find this cache. Well, we must have taken the correct route as we drove right up the cache location without a hitch. Quick find. TFTC
Our plans for the long weekend were suddenly derailed when geohubby was asked to work, so I decided to go for a drive in the country and try and mop up some outstanding caches. Having sussed out a suitable route this was a nice quick find and everything was in good order. No muggles on the road today. Thanks for the cache snafuadv
It would seem today was not our day, with every owner in the area deciding to drive up and mill around as we considered a sneaky look, plus the grass was up making visibility difficult.

Nice easy cache. Nice area with hot springs etc nearby. There is a split in the road (creek) and depending on which way you get here, you may have to drive around the long block. Also nice pub nearby. Litchfield (Adelaide river). Worth a visiting. TCTF
Today we really excelled ourselves in distance travelled, lol! Moved from Batchelor to Tumbling Waters as we continue our meandering across northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. After setting up camp, we headed out to grab caches both towards the east that we didn't do on the way in as we tow rather a large van, and to the west so that tomorrow is a feasible day for us as we don't get big numbers in a day.
I think this was find #14 for the day. I thoughtv2e had finished back near our camp, but Pa want3d to see what the "interesting " road was like so off we went again. Yes it was interesting, but once at GZ the cache was found, the log signed and all returned to its hidey hole. TFTC

This picnic area and dam are all currently closed to the public. No idea if its permanent. But no access today.
Today we explored Berry Springs and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about but failed to unearth his one. had a good look behind the fence, but no luck for us today.
He might have a farm but we couldn't find his cache. Looked in a few places but nothing jumped out at us.
We moved the caravan to Noonamah for 2 nights to cache in the area.
Pulled up at the gates for a quick grab and sign.
Thanks for the cache, SNAFUADV.

I headed in to find this cache on a detour from my drive back from the Dawin River Dam
Leonino Road looked like it led to GZ and after a short drive on the bitumen I turned into Reedbeds Road
A nice easy cache find as the cache seems to be sitting out in the open a few metres away from the Gnomish gate guard
TFTC.
I think I found the trick to this search as I departed northward and discovered that this road was a no through road and had to do a quick U-turn take another road back to the pub

We were looking for moo moo here and baa baa there but instead found a cache cache there. Actually, it was closer to here, quite a bit down the hill and very close to the road out in the open. Moved it back up the hill a bit after signing it.

Couldn't make up my mind to trespass just a little or whether to slash my wrists on the barbed wire: eventually decided on the former. Glad the road was only a few kilometers long and not a few hundred km's long!.

On our holidays, partly travelling in a Britz campervan through the upper half of the Northern Territory, we tried to log as many of the caches on the way. With the use of a PDA with iGo and the caches loaded as POIs, driving to the cache locations has become quite easy. In total, we visited 61 cache sites and of all these sites, we found 41 caches. Certainly not a perfect score, but we usually enjoyed the location the owner of the cache has chosen. Geocaching brought us to the usual popular tourist locations, but also on some places that we would have otherwise never stopped or driven through.
This log-entry is the 47th cache on our tour.
On our way to a camp site near this cache, we decided to make a short detour and log this one. The cache has already been around for quite some time, looking at the log book. Later on, we found out that the camping site we had in mind was actually closed that day so we made it all this way for nothing. At least we had a cache logged…

On that farm, we ben findem big blue box.
Im really good one that one.
Love the name and the hidy hole, the ants were pretty freindly, a small flowering Acacia had attracted a heap of black ants that climbed onto my leg as I approched GZ. They all bit me at once, probably knowing that I was going to write some very poor poetry...
Took pink teddy bear
Left Round pink soap, small butterfly and a Brolga sticker.
Great drive, thanks

I don't know if we were lucky to find the right way in or if the dry weather and falling water levels have opened up a few other roads. Either way we drove directly to GZ and after the GPSr finally settled on which direction to go we had the cache in no time.
Some really good swaps inside, pity my swaps were starting to run a little low.
Took little water pistol, left ball game.

Found this one with no probs. Left Red Eye Express travel bug and mozzie trap to be an incentive to get out this way . Didn't go via Berry Good as we had the dogs sleeping on the back seat along for the ride. We'll go back for that on the bike and earn a swim.
An easy find on a dry, dry day. We took one way in and another out, but no water anywhere. I can imagine how tough this would be in the wet.
Good Cache not to difficult just needed to doge the grader and water truck

Using all the recent logs, (if you can call them that) we decphered the way in and followed some roads. Initially we thought that if they are farming anything it could only be Pandanus until we came across some people doing some real farming.
Had a bit of trouble getting the container out of its spot as a rock had wedged down beside it. After a few choice words and losing a little bark of the knuckles and blood on the forearms that hitthe wire we had success.
The cache is in very good condition. We took a koala and left a sun crystal kit. (Its a kit the kids can put together to make a suncatcher.)
We returned the cache and wouldn't you know it a rock fell down beside the container again. Sorry to the next finder if it causes a problem.
Thanks

First approached from the north as my 1:250000 map indicated the road went all the way. But found a river in the way so had to go round the long way. Even took the hire car X-Trail through a water crossing that I am sure Thrifty wouldn't approve of, but it was only about 15cm.
Obvious from nearby, took a souvenir mosquito trap (I like it) and left a self inking stamp for geokids.
Thanks Oky's Mates for this interesting detour on the way to Litchfield.

Nice spot. Interesting crossroads on the way out - had to check the tracklog to make sure we took the correct turn. Stopped at the stream and soaked the feet for awhile. The water was still surprisingly cold. Kids took the water pistol and high bounce ball, left stuffed Koala and shot glass.
I am continually amazed with the total lack of observation by muggles. This cache was so obvious that it screamed look at me!!!! We rehide it at the same spot but with slightly better cover.

Interesting area. Had to ask at the Acacia fuel stop on the Stuart Highway to find Leonino Rd on the way in. Took the moo-cow glass because we had just broken an identical one in Litchfield, left a lighter, $3 and a card my son reckons is really important. On to Berry Good and a swim. Thanks.
This is the first time we have driven around this area; we found it very interesting.
Found it easily.
Met Paul the resident 'caretaker'.
Took kids gardening gloves and left a stubbie cooler from East Timor.

Talked a friend into driving past and "Just pick up this cache on the way back to Darwin from Litchfield"... It poured down with rain, roads were beginning to flood and my name was fast becoming "mud". We found it fast (fluked it) and I signed the log (no swaps). My very grumpy friend informed me there was to be no more geocaching "straight back to Darwin"... We will see Berry Good was next on the list.
Went for a drive and drove on the backroads from Litchfield. Thought we would pocket this one before we got home. well we drove to the river and a quick toe testing of the depth allowed the mighty Rav to continue drove past the cache and then drove back again. Pays to look at the GPS now and again.... Great site easily found even at 1900. Took stubbie cooler and left my balls from Canberra I think they have thawed out by now.
Love the dirt roads and the water crossing even if we did go the long way around. With the lack of traffic we parked the car in the middle of the road and did our swaps etc. Got the bendy thing to place in a sydney cache. If you go the same way as we did check the depth before crossing the floodway and watch for crocs while you do.
Thanks SNAFUADV and love the location of the neighbours farm.

Good cache, very easy to get lost and heaps of stuff inside. Had the belt in one of my tyres try and leave the car on the way home which meant driving from Berry Springs to Palmerston at 30km/h which wasn't so fun. Turned out to be an exspensive cache-hunt
