An easy cache to find, though it wasn't in the area that I would have guessed it would be.
As others have mentioned the logbook was a write-off and there was quite a culture growing inside the cache. We gave it a clean and dried it out and replaced the logbook so it is ready to go again. I'm not sure if there was originally a pencil with the cache but there isn't one now so it is BYO writing implement.
The container will probably need to be changed with one that is more water tight before next wet season otherwise this logbook will probably suffer the same fate.
Thanks!

Thanks to all who participated in finding this cache.
Due to the wet nature of the area and the log book now destroyed and the fact that we cannot get up there to fix the problem, We will now archive the cache.

Found a smelling cache due to the activity of many microorganisms. Unable to log on the papermache.
Thanks and greetings from Germany,

Found this cache quite easily, however the contents of the cache are like paper mache due to water damage and unable to sign log. Left silver coin (5 cent piece) to confirm visit. TFTC.
The cache contents are mash due to water damage. I would say the cache has been unindated with water which has seaped in. Paper contents totally destroyed. Cache placed back in location, however needs maintenance.
Founs this one on way to Mandorah, missed it first time but after reading the description found it easily. SL
Arrived at this one just as the sun was setting and after a short look around in the failing light I resorted to a torch. Found quickly after that and back to the car for a go at another nearby cache

Nice quick find before we went further in for a swim in the ponds. The water was quite warm, and the fish were biting, Me!). Loverly spot for a picnic.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
After finishing up finding all the active Darwin caches, we headed out this way to find a few more. This one was a quick, easy find. We replaced the soggy log with a fresh new sheet of paper. It should last through the dry, but the container seems to be missing a rubber seal so I'm sure it won't survive another wet. It wasn't too hot yet so we headed on to find some other caches before coming back here to check out the pools.
Can't imagine this place flooded. Well i hope the cache will get to higher grounds .

Hate these micro caches they can hide in so many places. But slowed down and there it was, doesn't look like it will go anywhere this wet.
Found as part of a 12000km scenic route, many thanx. The above logs say it all(we are late logging)
Cyclone Monica flooded this area, i doubt if cache survived the swim! New to this , was my first "look for" as closest to home, found pile but no sign of find. Was 3m deep in water at this point in May!!
Please advise!

don't know what it is with this cache but it was out of its hole again, i tied the string to a small branch (wets coming) and put him back

We were passing through the area and this one popped up beside the road. Found the cache ok. We tied the string around a rock and put the cache back in its hole.
Thanks for the cache

Found the cache lying on the ground, open with no log.
Replaced the log with a strip of paper (this is a micro remember), and hid the cache where I thought it should be.
The owner has confirmed that I have placed it in the correct place. Can the next person please take some string and tie the cache to a rock(?) so it will not float away if the area gets flooded in the wet season.

First for the day, took a moment looking around before I worked out where it might be. No swaps obviously with a micro, but a nice break on the drive to Litchfield. Cheers 2 Dogs.
Found cache easily, and then went to Wildlife park, stopping at the waterhole on the way home. Berry Berry upset that I didn't have my togs or towel as the water looked berry inviting.
No salties around this time of year, but I wouldnt like to say the same for the Wet. Berri Springs is a must - we've never been under a warm waterfall before! The Wildlife Park just up the road is well worth a visit too - the nocturnal house and aquarium are outstanding. TNLNSL. Thanks
A great day at the nearby wildlife park, topped off with a quick find.

Did this one on the trip to Darwin, and enjoyed the NT Wildlife Park and nearby pools afterwards. The actual finder was Jonni Cache (s. picture).
Nice hide!

Did this one after a day at the nearby park. Had a great time looking for it. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
Spent a bit of time looking for this one but as it turns out, no luck. Must be blind as everyone else seems to have had no problem!
Now that I have the TB Croc I am can virtually pic him up. Thanks to gmj3191 for sending him our way. We will get some pics with his bigger cousins very soon.
Still pouring with rain... grummpy bum sitting in car. I knew I was very close to the cache but I was getting mixed signals..was it the rain? the cranky vibes from friend? No flat batteries. Quick change and located cache within minutes. No swaps just logged it... Grummpy Bum reckons he listened to 3 CDs in the time it took me to find it. I had fun. Thanks again 2 Dogs I think I have to go home now .
This is a virtual visit to drop off TB Croc so he can be virtually collected by SNAFUADV. Croc travelled from Melbourne to Darwin to get to the land of real crocodiles so he can have his photo taken with one, and now is in the care of SNAFUADV physically, but needs to be collected from here for system reasons.
Thanks SNAFUADV.

little stroll through the grass, told the dog off and found the cache. alas it was a bit damp so a piece of plastic i also found locally should improve its chances of surviving another inundation.
this one was way too easy... i had hardly gotten off my bike when my buddy craig said found it....
we logged it and then headed down to the pond for a look at the wild life which was lacking in the area...
