Logs
As per my log of 18th August I have archived this cache as the owner has not posted a log regarding their intentions.
Think this one definately needs archiving. Thoroughly checked all over GZ (on route to another nearby cache) and only found little frogs in all the hidy spots. Have tried to contact owner unsuccesfully re another one of their caches that needs maintenance. Would appear that owner may have placed some caches whilst visiting Darwin and is unable to maintain them ??.
On our holidays, partly travelling in a Britz campervan through the upper half of the Northern Territory, we tried to log as many of the caches on the way. With the use of a PDA with iGo and the caches loaded as POIs, driving to the cache locations has become quite easy. In total, we visited 61 cache sites and of all these sites, we found 41 caches. Certainly not a perfect score, but we usually enjoyed the location the owner of the cache has chosen. Geocaching brought us to the usual popular tourist locations, but also on some places that we would have otherwise never stopped or driven through.
This log-entry is the thirty-second cache on our tour.
If I had paid a little bit more attention on the logs when I printed the cache details, I would not even have bothered with this one. But I didn’t read them until I could not find the cache. So I think it’s safe to say that this one should be archived since it been “gone†for 5 months now. This will avoid some other cachers coming all this way to find nothing (unless they prepare a bit better then we did)
(While I finally get the time to log this 'not-found' on the website, I see that it already have been archived)

While the logs indicated this one had probably gone we were driving past so thought a quick 5 min look wouldn't hurt. I could see where the cache was supposed to be but it wasn't anywhere to be found.
Would the owner please check this cache as previous finders have reported it missing.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Went right past this one while finding Delightful Douglas. Thought I would check in on the cache, however it seems to have disappeared. It certainly wasnt in the same spot that I last found it in. No sign of the plastic sleeve I placed all the contents into. Alas I would say it has been muggled and will probably need archiving.
Went looking for this one today and didn't find it. I did find a shortened pen on the ground at GZ and suspect it was once in the cache. I had a real good look over both sides of the fence but to no avail. I suspect that it's been muggled.
Found this one a short time after visiting 'GREG'. Unfortunatley this cache is in dire need of maintenance. The small container itself has given in to the elements and is broken. All paper work in the cache is totally water logged and covered in red mud. We cleaned it up as best we could and put the whole cache in a clear zipper plastic bag that we luckily had in the car. However, the bag will not be totally waterproof but all the contents are safe. Could not sign the log but left a small piece of paper in the bag logging our find. Also left a 20c coin and a took nothing. TFTH

A "short" detour on my way to Darwin, and then I almost didn't find it. I tried at a different altitude and the cache presented itself.

Laying in the thermal sandy pool, streams of very hot water and very cold water meet. The view of lush tropical forest before you. White parakeet perch on a branch against the clear blue sky. Colorful birds fly by busy with their say. What a tropical paradise with caching treasures. One of my best places to be!
Our third cache of the day after a long morning bushwalk from Up the Hill to Way out in Whoop Whoop. By the time we got here, we had almost recovered enough to enjoy searching for another cache. I knew where it had to be as soon as we got close. Very clever play on words. After finding the cache, we headed to the hot springs for a well deserved soak. We had one iffy moment when we came to the water crossing in our 2wd, low-clearance rental car. Spa Susi got out and used her trusty hiking stick to gauge the depth. It seemed ok so I splashed forward and made the crossing only to realize I'd left Spa Susi on the other side. She bravely walked across on stones only falling in once. Finally we got to the hot springs and enjoyed a well-deserved soak. Hot water at my back, cold water coming in from the side, parrots and cockatoos flying overhead, green trees against the bright blue sky. Ahhhhh. This is what vacation should be....
Hi,
we travelled to Hot Springs, in near camp we bought three big water melone. I recomend it. ) In this very hot weather it was very refreshing. We are from Czech Republic and this weather we don't know.
We found this cache without problems.
Thanks

Female sibling drove right to it with one check of the GPS, Not getting any younger parent fossicks around for ten minuets no luck. Sibling takes 30 seconds and comes up with the goods. (Don’t you hate that?)

Great clue, and an easy find. I was racking the grey matter to work out what it was about, but it was obvious once there.
Felt like the cache name after soaking in the water for a while.
Took: Legoman, Left: thong keyring
Thanks, Robmc.

Dropped in on this, my first cache hunt, on the way to the Daly River for a spot of fishing. Was very disappointed not to find the actual cache, but did enjoy the Territory humour on the sign. As per previous posts I believe this one may have been removed. Enjoyed the diversion anyway! Maybe my next cache hunt will be more successful and I can fill in a log book.
Cheers

stopped here on the way to the hot springs. Unfortunately the cache was not to be found where we had found it last time. After a big look through the long grass we had to conclude that the cache is not where we looked. I have another trip to this region planned in the new year so I shall have another look then. Cheers Terrortorian
Our first cache find in the Northern Territory. We didn't see any cattle on the way or near the cache, it wasn't until we read the sign that we understood Roast Beef. We did see a cow pat in the middle of the road on the way down to the hot springs.
For those interested there is a top little camping area at the hot springs (toilets only provided) and as of this date $4.50 per adult per night.
We didn't have a swim this afternoon as the water was too hot and there was a bus full of army people filling up the pool.
Cache in good condition TNLN Thanks for the diversion

I was looking through the records for the territoty's 2 event. I discovered that I did not log, or not log properly, my 2nd ever find "Roast Beef". I found this one with up on a hill on my way to the douglas research station. I still remember my frustration because I was looking for another ammo box. Better late than never.
Another successful find on our first geocaching trip with the Geowombats. Cute name. Had a very nice drive out to the Gorge and Hot Springs afterwards.
We wondered where the name of this cache came from but once we saw the cache site there was no mistaking it.
Went down to Butterfly Gorge and Douglas Hot Springs as a result of chasing this cache. Great day out!

Found this on the way south from Darwin to Adelaide. Left a corporate pin. Really glad the cache was there as it took us away from the Stuart Highway, and we then went for a swim in the nearby Douglas hot springs which are much nicer and less commercialised than ones at Mataranka.
Its name says it all Heading forward towards the butterflies and their gorge [B)]

What better excuse but to capture the last of the local caches and take my new car for some off road adventures. Easy spot, easily found it was something I will always look up to. The lack of hills in territory caches is so unlike the other territory. Took a lady bug and left a little man to watch over the cows or were they bulls, I am not so sure.
Found this one with Vombatus on the way home from Darwin.
Very easy find,(not like the first time) but we fear for the safety of this cache the next time that they put a firebreak through. We hope it goes undetected. Our kids could not work out why our names were already on the log
