Alas I have it on advisement that the caches has managed to escape. The description of the cache location tells me that someone has found the cache to be more attractive and has gone through the effort of removing it from its securing material. As we are now on the East coast we shall release this area for other cachers to utilize. Thanks for the finds on this or northernmost aussie cache.
It is with regret to inform you that this cache, together with its geocoin have been muggled. All that remains is the yellow rope that used to secure it to the tree.
Quick found after a pleasant walk to the hidden beach.
Never be there without caching!

I parked where the TomTom said to park. Easy.
The track turned from a mall into the damn Kokoda Trail. Where was I going?
I knew how Stuart, or Burke and Wills felt when they made it to the NT coast.
Wow. Wow. Great Beach…
Ummmm
How come there are no people on it.[xx(][xx(]
[B)] And what are those big lumps in the dunes.
I fathomed up the steam and sweat (that was easy) to go back the 40 odd metres and secure the prize. No way this baby will float away… Nice cache…
I walked along the beach a bit, and then headed back to the car along a possibly easier route. Still no people.
Are there crocs here? I assumed there was.
I live to cache another day. [^]
Clear skies and TFTC, TeamAstro.
Great morning walk in the bush. Found cache quickly as mozzies very bad. Thanks for the walk.

We also took the steep approach from the road. Tested the new hiking shoes. Like the cache idea.

One of 15 finds on my 66km bicycle tour of Darwin! It seems I'm following allrounder's tracks around! This is the Northernmost cache I've ever done! Don't think I'll be beating that in a hurry!
I think I took the same 'not so sensible' way in the location as allrounder! Not only that, but a local wanted my mobile phone... Managed to cycle out a much more sensible way! TNLN, Thanks again terrortorian!

Found @ 2:40pm. Sixth of seven caches attempted on another long day of caching by bike.
Quite a trek with the bike in tow. Took a steep approach but an easier way out. Most Northern cache attempted.
Cache was exposed but I recovered it as best I could.
Took nothing, left allrounder pathtag & alien keyring.

Did this one at night. Was the best hunt. Legs got scratched up but was great fun.

Co-ordinates spot on even under cover, who tied the cache down? nearly ripped arm off when I stood up
Found with mollydogs. Nice place, nice easy walk (~800M) in from the carpark to the north. Not easy to find but not TOO hard. TNLN. TFTC. Cheers, aussieangel.
Dropped off coin, a difficult one to find but satisfying, thanks. Took nothing, left quietly.
wonderful place for a walk, found the cache without issue although, it is well hidden.
Forgot to take the insect repellant much to our disgust.
we wanted to sit and read through the logbook, mobbed by mozzies in the middle of the morning - our fault, RID was advised.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice easy find. Make sure you walk 50 metres further inland and another 50 metres East from the cache to view an old WWII Pill Box.

I took the stroll down the beach for this one. The tide was a long way out and Shell decided to wait in the car as the heat was starting to take it's toll.
Thanks terrortorian for the great cache, I managed to walk straight to it.

Warm and humid conditions made this short stroll feel a lot longer than it really was.
We had few problems finding the cache, though once we had it in hand we couldn't get it open. We were nearly about to have to log a find without actually finding the log when the top finally came off (Mrs Buster said she loosened it though).
It was a quick swap as we were under siege from mozzies, march flies and just about any other biting insect you would care to name.
Took the thumb thongs, left the mini playing cards.
Thanks

Took a nice afternoon stroll along the beach. Found this cache very easily, however it was totally exposed. Did my best to cover it up again. TNLNSL TFTC.
Serendipitwo found it on a very hot day. And a long walk it was, in this heat. Nice place and a surprising cache. Covered it up again as it was rather exposed.

2nd cache of the day. Took the watermelon bath salts, and left a Bilby. Fantastic walk along the beach..
This was very easy find great location may put a cache around this loction too cheer.
We took the path from the car park, following the car tracks so the dogs could come too. Nice hiding spot - took the golf ball for next weekend's game of flog (golf for gumbies) and attempt to find Hole in One! Left thumb thongs for someone to relax with ;-D
Walked back via the beach seeing there was a nice breeze, depsite being int he middle of the day.

After an unsuccessful attempt at Bugs Galore, we headed to the beach for a picnic breakfast and a nice walk. We walked along the beach, enjoying the view and the solitude. Made a short, crunchy approach to the cache and found it easily. We took the running trail out and enjoyed watching a swarm of small birds flitting in front of us. Thanks for bringing us out here.
Great day for geocaching, Found 'Nonni' the travelbug by suprise and have taken her to see some of the sights, will drop her off at the next cache I find. Left golf ball and tea bags.
Found this one as part of a 12000km scenic route, many thanx.
We left a bug but the log work has allready been taken care of!Their pretty quick up this way!

A great family affair to find this. (backlogging since I now have a geo-identity). TFTC
Brought the family and had fun. Good site and easy find for them. Good sized cache. Took slinky and 4x4TB. Left Eraser and coins - didn't realize cache would be big.
My first find. Took family and friends along - some enjoyed the trek more than others. I think we chose the wrong route and some "expensive" shoes suffered from mud damage. Left a compass and took a bouncy ball.
Easy find. GPS led me straight to cache. Great place. It was great walking along the beach at low tide.

We had a bit of a walk down from Lee point Rd. The track that follows the fence is not the best one. The one that angles away from the fence will get you down to the beach in short order. There is the beach to walk along or the path behind the beach. Our little Garmin led us through the trees straight onto the cache that was easily spotted. The cache is well done.
We took a tryre pressure guage and left some Watermelon Bath Salts.
Also left Tim the Turtle Travel Bug

Walked to cache direct from caravan park and then back along the beach. Nice walk. Also viewed the WWII artifacts along the way.
Found it second try, great spot loved the walk from home in Rocklands Drive.
Great walk this time of year, good spot.

Information from an intrepid cacher has enabled me to return this cache to an active status. Thanks for your assistance.
FOUND IT...... Co-ords where spot on. It just took a bit to get in there under the trees.
I loved the cache container and it is definately NOT going to be washed away...
I came at low tide and enjoyed the walk along the beach

I have been told that this cache may be missing. until I can check this I have disabled the cache. unless someone checks this area earlier, do not expect an update until November. Sorry for the inconvenience but I am enjoy my stay in Japan a lot.
Couldn't find this one despite a big effort. I suspect it may have been trashed; see below.
Firstly I chose the hardest of the three ways to access this spot which meant that I'd bashed through some nasty bush and walked about 1000m in very hot conditions.
Then the GZ when I got there was a bit off; about 80m OFFSHORE in the sea
I spent 30 minutes searching about 150m of the shoreline adjacent to the GZ concentrating on the most likely spot (around the access path that I'd not seen on the way in).
I found 2 spots that matched the clue and at one of them I found the top of a 2l blue icecream container but nothing else. The other spot showed signs that someone had been camping there recently and had been dug up and messed up a lot.
Might be worth a visit from the cache owner to see if it's still there. If it is I'd love to know where as I'm still removing sand, sticks and leaves from my clothes and shoes

Only our second find, Trish and I are having fun with this.
There is a big tip to be passed on with this site. PUT THE BUG REPELLANT ON BEFORE YOU GET TOO CLOSE!!! No kidding Trish and I must have had 20-30 mossies each biting simultainously After a bit of slapping and fighting for the spray we finally got things under control and began our search.

First cache in Darwin while visiting for a week. We have been hanging out to get up here for a family visit for some time so hope to nab a few during the week. Dropped off Ball & Chain TB from its last location in WA, as well as placing new TB Georgia's Shoe to begin a global hike!
TNLN Thanks

Hooray! This was our first Cache, and what a hike! A lovely stroll and well worth it. Went out on this adventure with Team Bungarra (Dad from Perth, up on family visit). Picked up the Ball and Chain, our first TB.

A good way to end the day. Do remember bug spray, industrial strength or stronger is required. We walked in via the pill box and out via the sand box. Baby loved the beach - more sand than ever seen before . In speed ball out tennis ball. dog lost his on the way so it was a good find.

Cache has been upgraded to a more secure container. I hope this one will remain through any deluge that would affect the area.
There are definitely hard ways and easy ways to get to this cache and when you've got little kids, the longer options probably are the better ones. If you bring a furry friend, just watch out for the dogcatcher - dogs aren't allowed here.
Took the TB and left a couple of goodies.
Great cache. Excellent effort!

A nice stroll down from the carpark after visiting the shopping centre with the same name. Easy find, was a bit worried about the tree cover but it didn't seem to faze the GPS. Had to get rid of a lizard that had decided to shelter under the edge of the container and didn't want to go! [B)]
Took a $1 keyring and left a koala. Thanks Terrortorian!

Found it following the track down from the main road, but I think the longer way may have been more interesting as it passes a nudist beach.
Took the bottle opener and left TB Mr Iiiix who travelled up to Darwin on the Ghan. Hopefully he can continue his travels around the NT for a while before moving on.

Found in the company of Team Crackers. Not many capital cities have access to so much open native land within such easy striking distance. Took out the bronze and loving it.
Ex nihil and son Ash just pipped SNAFUADV at the post for last silver medal of Athens 2004. The silver gong will reappear in a cache near you soon. Heard this one before we saw it, Ash must have hit the right note because the cache sang out to us; first time I've had a cache announce itself! Nice walk terrortorians, liked the cool casuarina glade on a hot day, coords spot on, congratulations on your first cache. Ash really liked the puzzle thingy but we left it because we forgot to bring any quality goodies to swap.
The Arafura Sea may well get in here in the Wet, the litoral line is up the bank behind the casuarinas. Leave it where it is because it is a nice spot but it may be happier with a really watertight box and a chain around the thing it's hiding under.

Found with vombatus, after finding a more difficult way to the site. Lovely walk, in great cache. To our surprise we still managed a bronzeafter being pipped for Silver by Ex-Nihl by minutes. Good to have a chat though, Fantastic idea for the medals

And the Gold Medal goes to - Team Lemmings. Finally found this one with the assistance of the Minister for War and Finance. Very cleverly done. The trees make it difficult to pin point its exact location which adds to the challenge. Inspired me to attempt to stash a few of my own.

Tried our best but was unable to find it. GPS was useless under the trees. Might try again tomorrow.
