22deg today but Im sweating when I got back to my car.Interesting history here.Congratulations 20 years of this cache still going.TFTH
I haven't been caching much recently, and had a bit of a DNF elsewhere, but this one reminded me of what caching ought to be like. Once I got the stupid phone app to accept a waypoint, off I went, and caught up with my muggle wife who was (patiently) waiting for me. She also located the hitching point and wondered why on earth anyone wanted to do this pastime. I reminded her that it wasn't "on Earth" and proceeded into the airlock. Found it with a bit of give and take from the rope. Hooray. I re-emerged covered in stardust and dirt. I then carried the box of bits all round the park till I got back to the original hide and replaced the rope. Thanks for an awesome cache!
While staying in Riverton we headed off with our daughter on Good Friday to find this one for our 9,000th cacheFinding it was quicker and easier than we thought and we soon had the cache in handMany thanks for a different cache TeamAstro.a favourite point from us
Waking up to overcast skies and the occasional spot of rain, we decided to just cache in the local-ish area today. A tour of back country roads and small townships. Not a big number day but the quality was right up there.A bit of a bonus finding this area today while out and about. Would not have found it if not for caching. The cache of the day - a real adventure. TFTC TeamAstro#9360
Found with Beaker. Continued on and right near the end a spider the size of a dinner plate !! High tailed it back Very clever and I love the area!!
Sadly I went deep into the asteroid but I could not find the proper airlock. Lovely place and walk though. Tftc!
What an adventure. Shazzbry told us about his adventures here, so on our next caching adventure we chose here. Didn't think we were going anywhere useful, but after following the instructions and no aliens in sight. Treasure was in hand. Well done Astro on a great adventure. Not just a mint container
DNF today. Completely covered in flies because of the 39 degree weather. Both of us tried to pass the millions of space invaders without being detected, but failed.
Today I have retrieved Travel Bugs Origins Tag [TB978C](https://coord.info/TB978CJ) from Antwerpen, Belgium and have virtually dropped it in this cache in South Australia.
This will allow it to build up some virtual kilometres traveled with the permission of the owner Kilroy13

I’d heard great things about this cache, so it was subsequently on my to do list. I wasn’t disappointed! Love the whole experience so a favourite point from me. Geo Dad reckons the CO should come clean and vacuum the tunnel as we emerged a different colour. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. Blue sky day, so it’s a great day for caching. TFTC TeamAstro

Found with bektheraccoon on another afternoon adventure in Kapunda. Hitched the rope up high and exactly at the end of it was the cache! A well deserved FP added. TFTC
Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending a few days in Kapunda before heading to Yorke Peninsula.
Headed out to explore some back roads today before the forecast rain. Boy the crops look good around here. Some of the dry weather roads are only just drying out from the recent downpours! Lots of mud around but we managed to avoid most of it. Although we are going to look up a carwash for tomorrow.
Mrs Felix was in charge of instructions and mustering the TOTT that we might need. Then off to find the instructions, wow you can see where that 100mm of rain ran 2 weeks ago. WPT okay but has been wet with most of the instructions readable then off to the new location. Hmm is it this or that.. Couldnt agree but in the end Mr Felix went on the hunt.
There were delighted shouts of yip yip yee haa I found it! He emerged covered in red dust good thing lunch was on the back burner or they might not have let him in!
Okay Team Astro we think its worth a RARE FelixII fave point.

Our third visit to this cache and it is still just as wonderful as ever! The last visit was bittersweet as I5 had just broken her arm and was in hospital so she missed out. This time she was the intrepid space cadet who buckled in to the life support and led us deep into the darkness for the find. Thank you for the joy this brought her and the generous trackable to boot!
The Pines continues to be well maintained and we took a lovely walk around the dam to the new bird hide before having a picnic lunch on a lovely spring day.

The Parrot tribe wanted a day out after the lockdowm so I wanted to remind them what caching was like back in the good old days before cachers had realised that the mint tin manufactures had no idea what their containers where for and have for some stupid reason been filling them up with mints.
So drove out to Kapunda did a walk around the mine . Grabbed a buger and visited Leo then headed out to this magnificant cache.
Ahhh the memories its been a while since my FTF on this one and now another two generations has got to enjoy this cache.
It was still as fun as it was back in 2004.

Day five of a camping trip testing out my new swag. Grabbing a few caches on the way home to Adelaide from the Flinders Rangers.
I collected the top and read the instructions. A little bit confused about talk of different coloured TOTTs but only found one colour. But I proceeded to the next waypoint undeterred.
I was so excited to see GZ matching photos from previous finders that I rushed in like a bull through a gate.
Yes it is long. A cursory look my way through didn’t cut it. I reached the end and realised I past it. I was a lot more thorough on the way back and found the cache. So in the end I didn’t use the TOTT.
The TOTT was returned and I was on my way. Not before dropping a favourite point for a fun and adventurous cache.
Thanks for the cache TeamAstro.

Day 1
We went to WP1 and got the needed TOTT. Then went for a walk to WP 2. Nice location. We did bring the torches and off we went. Over 1000 bugs greeted us before we found the cache. quick find where it is supposed to be and back out again. fav point.
found with Mogni and Jacknor. We where heading up Carrieton for a couple of days and then on to the Flinders Rangers for 5 days. The plan was to find as many of the church multi's as we could going up and then bright and early the next day head off to the " Bendleby Ranges " 4 x 4 tracks. Then clear the next section of multi's between Carrieton and Rawnsley Station and of course a few stray trads that would help Jacknor's jasper grid. A straight week of over 30 degrees meant less hiking than planned but we still got to the top of Rawnsley Bluff as well as some other smaller hikes. The Rawnsley station 4 x 4 track was completed and by then it was time to decamp and start the drive home. Stopped at orroroo and cleared the town out before going back to the church multi grind. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and extra logs added to those caches that the scroll was full or almost full, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintanence on them.

In Kapunda for a weekend with the geo-pup. Planning our route for the day this one grabbed our attention for the number of favourites, and well deserved it is. Great fun, and wouldn't have ventured down THERE otherwise! Replaced container and added a favourite

Today, jesswrigley and I started the day with a breakfast event north-east of the city, before travelling to Kapunda primarily to complete the *Kapunda Hauntings Adventure* Adventure Lab. It was great to visit Kapunda once again, and a nice historical little mining town, and we enjoyed our walk around the old mining area. We did a few other adventures in the area, before heading back home via Seppeltsfield.
This geocache was on my target/bucket list due to its high Favourite Points (FPs), of which it had accumulated 95 FPs as of today's visit.
I had heard about this geocache from a few people, but only very minor details. So it was still quite a surprise to what I had found.
We visited the posted coordinates and obtained the necessary instructions and tools. It wasn't too hard to find, and so we continued on to our destination. I was under the impression that we would be needing the tool to climb/ascend, and the penny dropped / light bulb flashed after inspecting inside the building, and putting two and two together. Wow, this appeared to be a very cool and a fun adventure (noting cool also worked as a way to get out of the heat today too).
First up, I attempted to head into space without the tether, thinking I could find the treasure through visual means. After getting attacked by midges in the first pod, I walked my way through, only having my phone as a source of light (I had wished that I had realised that I should have brought my torch from the car). I continued to traverse, only to come out the other side in a flash of light, and still no signs of a cache. That was an interesting area, but it wasn't the mission objective, so I needed to return, paying even more attention. I certainly got very dirty stopping and checking various spots on my way back, but again, I got back to the home with no cache.
Right I thought, I will now do this properly. I tethered myself to an appropriate attachment point, and I made my way in. I got to the final distance, and then started searching around, still no cache. I looked in various spots +/- 1-2 pods around my destination, and I eventually found a blue circular lid that I presumed belonged to the cache. It looks like from past photos, that this did indeed belong to the cache, and was probably the only thing left. I had one last search around, to find any other remaining pieces, but alas, nothing. Somehow, the treasure must have been discovered by space pirates, and plundered away. I stamped the cache lid, and ended up leaving that behind in situ, but unfortunately, I didn't have any other cache containers or pieces with me to help to replace. It is a shame that I didn't enjoy the spoils of our adventure, but nevertheless, a thoroughly enjoyable trip, with a deserving Favourite Point. Thanks TeamAstro for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

This was my first stop this morning on my way through to Adelaide to pick up a rear tire for my motorcycle.
I wasn't sure what to expect. The write up on the cache page, almost sounded like a night cache, but plenty of logs stated that they found it on nice sunny days?
I parked my bike in the large, open stone lot. I was the only vehicle there and the place was quiet and secluded. There was a gate to keep animals from passing through, but a narrow opening on the side that a person could step through. I stepped through and followed the stone path in a ways and then bushwhacked the rest of the way up to the first part.
The posted waypoints led me to a plastic container and as the cache page had said, there were instructions for me to follow and coordinates to get to the final.
I carried on thinking I knew what to expect, but I got a surprise when I arrived at the final waypoint. I thought, "whoa, I got to read this cache page again".
After reading over everything several times, I knew where I had to go. I chose to take off untethered and to search for the cache by way of geosenses. I came all the way out to the other side, before returning and finding the container on the way back.
This was an awesome find. I had learned about similar utilities like this in Sydney, but never thought I'd get this really close look at it.
Thanks for the find.

Had to turn back on this, plague of bugs is an understatement. Will try again another day when it’s not as bad.
We got to the entrance point and had to turn back because there was a midgie plague of epic proportions in there. I’m told that usually they are not around, so we were unlucky today.
Another day caching out north with Doctor Owl, sushilord and SA Sewer Rats. It started out quite cool but by mid afternoon it was quite warm and I even worked up a sweat at one cache. [^] A fun day travelling on some great back roads with lots of beautiful scenery and plenty of interesting banter along the way.
We were driving past this one and as I was the only one who hadn't found the cache the others thought it would be a good one for me to find. I had read about this cache a very long time ago, but had never ventured up here to find it. So today I would...I sort of knew what to expect and headed off to WP1, found what was required and headed to WP2 and followed instructions. I was ably assisted by sushilord as it took quite a bit of manoeuvring to get myself to GZ, but get there I did and happily stamped the log. Then did everything in reverse and made my way back to the car. [^]
Thanks for a very enjoyable experience TeamAstro a favourite for me.

TFTC What a great day out! The sun is shining, very little wind & guess who didn’t wear appropriate shoes for the trek through tall grass? Now we have wet socks & shoes to wear on the rest of today’s adventures.
This was a great hide & yes a favourite of ours so thanks heaps for the fun, wet shoes & all lol

I have been eyeing this one off for well over a year, never actually having the time to be in the area to do it....
Well................ today the sunny Winter's day of Saturday the 20th of July, i finally had the time to grabski
Went to the listed co-ords in my Galaxy Cruiser and grabbed what was needed to navigate the bowels of this asteroid [:o]
Set my blaster to kill in case i encountered any creatures lurking within this rock whilst i led myself into the dark dingy unknown [:o]
Reached the end of my tether and didn't see a cache .... eeeek! oh no!
No panic needed it was about 2m away, Phew! that was close.
SL of the space-booty at 10:55hrs Earth-Time SA [20/7/19] and took a pic of my visit as proof and for identification records in case i don't survive it ha ha
[What an awesome idea for a cache and location! I Loved this one hardcore!
It no doubt earns a Favourite Point for sure (probably coz i survived it lol ) and for the whole idea
The actual cache container is looking a bit worse for wear but im sure, out here in space, rain and wet log books won't be an issue lmao
Fantastic stuff, TeamAstro

Well I have heard a lot about this multi and how it is probably the best cache in the state so obviously had to do it on the way past today with nettieknows. We soon found WP1 and ventured with our tools at hand to WP2.
With modern technology a torch is always at hand and we used it as we made our way into the tunnel. Then the rope ran out. A cache was soon found and ASTRO LAVISTA BABY WAS YELLED! What a journey and fantastic cache. Deserves a favourite point.

After spending a few days helping out a car rally in Burra then a day or so in Clare I started the homeward journey via a couple of what seemed like "must do" caches and this was one of them. Parked in the car park and wandered over to the published coords where the task was identified and the tool taken. Walked over to the target area and I had a quick look for the tether point with nothing obvious so I just improvised. After a good scramble (without hitting my head once!) I reached the end of the line and lo and behold, the cache was right there! After doing the signing thing, walked back out (thinking this would be so much easier if I was only 4 foot tall!) returned everything back to where I got it and went on my way. All in all this is a great cache and it's good to do something different like this, definitely another fave point awarded. Thanks to TeamAstro - must get over to SA more often and hunt out some more of yours!
Headed off to Clare for a weekend of camping, eating, drinking and geocaching. Excellent.
We finish at 1pm on Fridays so this meant we could do a few caches on the way from Dry Creek to Clare. We managed to find 8 caches and all were in good condition. This allowed us to get to Clare by 5pm and get the tent up before it got dark and more importantly get a sundowner beer in. We than ate a super selection of nibbles with a lot of red wine, probably more than we should have!
This was our target cache for the day, have been wanting to do this one for a long time, so we made the appropriate detour. I had hoped all of us would be able to do it but alas no dogs allowed, irritatingly saw 2 dog walkers in the conservation park later on.....
This was a super cache, I loved doing it, shame I was still in my work gear, I was filthy when I got back to the car. What an adventure and lots of fun. Wasn't sure where the hitch was so used my best judgement, thinking it was the cross hitch but didn't matter still got me close enough to the cache to find it. Hound would have loved it down there!!! Wound up the apparatus and returned to the first WP. A most excellent adventure and worthy of another FP. TFTC TeamAstro!!!!

This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we found a lot of caches. This was one of it.
We got it to our plan because of the newsletter from GC last year. So we planned to stop here and have a look.
Great idea. We managed it to get to the final
What a surpise to do this cache.
Due to the fact that we arrived late, we spend the night with our campervan on the parkingplace at the entrance to the park. Also a perfect place to spend the night.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".

The puzzled puzzlers set out on our first Wednesday escapade. Changing from Tuesday meant myself, Blackadders, Doctor Owl and SA Sewer rats were all available. As usual we set our mystery tour target as to make our way to Clare and cache around there. As usual we spent the whole day caching and never made it to Clare. [B)]
What great fun this cache is. We found the space tether and made our way to the airlock. There we attached our tether and made our way out of the airlock and into the cold vacuum of space. When we reached the end of our tether we found a cache. Log stamped we made our way back to the safety of the airlock to finish our journey to Planet Clare. [:o)]

yet another FP from me.
**Thanks TeamAstro for this cache. **
Well, that was fun! Followed the instructions, but there wasn't a silver tether and had to guess the tether point. The Owl, Snake and Starfish left the Rat behind to guard the exits and make sure the tether didn't unravel and went in to explore the asteroid. Asteroids seem to be full of brick dust. Who knew? The cache was discovered amid much merriment. Astro La Vista, baby!
The usual troupe of animals from the puzzled puzzlers group, this time on a Wednesday ventured out on this marvelous day to seek yet more of our un-found hides. Today's mission was Clare however we just did not seem to make it with all these other caches that diverted us from our goal.
With the Starfish, Owl and Adder the ones who needed to make our marks in the book as the Rat had previously ventured into the abyss, this was a fun and worthy of a fav point cache.
Finding the necessary TOTT and with torches in hand the menagerie made its way to the appropriate GZ. The Owl however was not quite prepared wearing office clothes, (she had a seminar thing to attend later in the evening) so a quick dust down after the adventure was all that she could do. With no sign of the so mentioned attachment a guess was made as to an anchor point.
The Adder being vertically challenged managed to complete the task easier than those who had to shuffle along step by step.
All managed to make their mark and the container (with a broken lid) was returned as found.
A fav point for the fun multi. TFTC

Awesome idea for a cache in a really cool spot. Favorite points for sure. The space tether was not quite the right length so took a bit of searching TNLN Thanks for such an adventure
In a dark, dark wood there was a dark, dark house;

Just a heads up that there is currently a colony of bees living at GZ (WP2). Would not advice attempting the cache as there is that much. Will let the council know and will let people know when they have been removed
What a great cache. Even more fun in the dark by torchlight.
Thanks TeamAstro for this cache and bringing us to this awesome spot.

Found this one while out on a hike with Gawler Monday Cubs. We actually did this one in reverse. We were at GZ and Mr C was thinking this would be a good spot for a hide (not having gone to the first waypoint yet). Not long after Jnr #2 made the find! Having signed the log we went back and did the cache in the proper order. Very well set up - good work! TNLNSL. TFTC TeamAstro.
Thanks for the cache! Was a bit of confusion with the rope, but got it in the end!
I first visited this site as a muggle, so looked forward to completing the cache today, but had no luck. We made our way into darkness with our life line attached. The bottom of the tunnel was quite muddy, and a thorough search did not turn up the cache, to our disappointment. We will be watching upcoming logs to see if it is found.
Out caching with Jack. Had heard of the awesomeness of this one.
No creatures were encountered within, but a lot of mud was washed through the cache hide !

Out and about today with the Grand Kidlets, Japanesque. These Junior Cacher extraordinaire's beat us to most of the finds today! This one was a particulare favourite for them with squeals of delight during the trek to GZ. A definate fav from us!! TFTC
Our last morning in Clare as we headed for Greenock with iluvtrekking picking up caches along our route. Yeah baby, we found it. Loved the concept and fortunately we came prepared with a torch. Thanks TeamAstro
This morning was our last in Clare from here we headed off to the Barossa Valley gathering a few caches along the way. Oh my goodness, I really don't know what to say other than we wish we could give this cache more than one Favorite point, thanks TeamAstro.
Found it! Definitely come on a cooler day, fellows, as there are flies aplenty and big ants everywhere! TFTC
Thanks for this great find. Had the hitch in wrong place to begin with, then got close enough. Found with mrbuzzy
Fantastic. Again I have gone places I would never have gone before. Thanks TeamAstro and thanks geocaching. Should be some signage saying 'don't feed the wildlife'. I must have fed one hundred mosquitos. TFTC Astro La Vista, Baby!
Astro la vista baby!!! That is so cool!!! Even though it's cold and damp it's probably the best time of the year to find this cache, no flies, mozzies, or crawlies....just us and the decades of dust, some of which is returning home with us lol. We'll be back when the geokids come home, they will love it! Thanks so much for a glorious adventure through your universe:). Took Morris token and left new pencil and sharpener, and swag. Did some CITO along the pipe:) TFTC
What an awesome cache. Don't read this just go out and find it. Bek-theraccoon and I grabbed this little beauty on the way back from the Big Clare Bike Bash. TFTC
Seriously one of the coolest caches I've done - and from 12 years ago!
I'd been talking to the squirrel about doing this as we were driving to Clare and to my delight he was actually willing to make a beeline off course to visit this cache.
Good thing we did because it was FANTASTIC! I did find the blue 'device' a little longer than it needed to be, but not by much.
Thank you TeamAstro for the cache - definitely worthy of a favourite point

Today Snap Happy was our chauffeur as we travelled around this neck of the woods with earthlight collecting unfound caches and this cache was the reason to travel out this way, Mrs 3LG has wanted to do this one for a while and today was the day, after we walked around in circles for a while we found the first part we need and then it was time to go collect the prize, i went in first and soon spotted the cache but kept quiet as Mrs 3LG wanted to find this one so left her find it the way it was meant to be found, what a awesome cache. Always up for an adventure. The Mzungus located the safety equipment and the instructions and then descended into the abyss. Soon the cache was located and the group pushed forward, finding temporary respite in the light. But escape was short lived, the group was stuck down the hole, meaning retracing through the darkness was required.
Thank you for the hide, had a lot of fun with this one in an old favourite of ours. Had many treks through here without ever seeing the cache.

This is an awesome cache. I've been waiting for the right time to bring the Grandies with headlamps and torches to set off into this venture. It was great weather for a picnic and enjoying the location. TFTC
Found this great multi during an after work walk.

Last night ronso spent some time searching for a cache to target for our next milestone. We decided on this cache based on favourite points and past logs. Once at GZ, we found the instructions and gathered the necessary equipment for our journey ahead. On approaching the asteroid, red decided to take the lead and have a closer look. It did not take long for red to retrieve the cache, luckily with no creatures lurking!! With the log signed and knowing the path was clear, ronso replaced in cache in its hide :c) TFTC TeamAstro and thanks for the adventure for our 500th find!!!
Awesome cache great location and our reason for todays trip.
Now Mrs B loathes confined spaces and needed to face her fears what a better way than with mates. We would never have come here if it wasn't for your cache. We even had a farmer check on us while out walking.
Headed out to collect some random old smileys in the back roads of the barossa with Harleyjohn. We aimed for Astro la vista babe and worked our way back towards gawler.
Now we did not cache with a 4wd at all and some of those dry roads only do not say 4wd only and they should. I think we took the corolla to places that only Locus would take a 4 cylinder Toyota. We have had a ball checking out the back road's and knocking of one of the old caches.

Malandi took me, and muggle friends armed with torches, to this location to show me the 'ropes' on how to locate this cache. Was fascinating. I bravely took the lead with a couple of muggle friends following and with help located the cache. We were all amazed.
Visited this cache this morning on the recommendation of slieschke, and having finished yesterday on 5999, this was our 6000th find - and I couldn't think of a more fun cache to get that milestone with. I must admit waypoint 1 took me a few minutes to spot, but then with my orders, I was off. I think I set it all up right (although afterwards I found out it was slightly different to how slieschke did it), and certainly the engineering had me at the cache safely and spot on! Very nicely done indeed and a great spot for this wee adventure. Found on our Adelaide to Murray Bridge via Uluru road trip for Oz Mega 2014. #6000!!! TFTC!!!
Fantabulous! This totally lived up to expectations!
Visited on the way from the Riverland to Port Wakefield (saw a shooting start that must have been an asteroid on the way), gathered the apparatus and began my walk into the void. I must have set it all up correctly as I was led to precisely GZ.
Great engineering!
Thanks!

this is to date my FAVOURITE cache location of all.
took the Muggle Fisher...man? with me as my outside safety pertner and verntured into the darkness with video camera in hand. took a bit of searching as I anchored the lifeline to the wrong place. but when I backtracked I soon found the elusive cache. loved every minute of it
a few suggestions to those doing this one:
1. the rope is to be anchored above the pump house doorway, when done it is the EXACT length to the cache.
2. wear old clothes or coveralls you WILL get filthy dirty
3. beware the tunnel is filled with tiny little midgies, theyre harmless but taste awful lol.
thanks to TeamAstro for this great cache, i'll be having a look for some more of your caches to be sure.

What a fun day this one was! 35 smileys including 2 FTFs while out with Dennisc52 and earthlight for a fantastic day.
We had planned to get to Clare to locus caches but instead we found ourselves at Kapunda and Eudunda
Such is geocaching
What can I say that has not already been said[?]
We had a ball here.
I had a rough idea of what we were in store for but the other two had not heard of this cache before
When we picked up the necessary item to assist in the find, I know they were wondering what they had let themselves in for! [?]
We all thoroughly enjoyed this cache hide although I think Dennisc52 enjoyed having earthlight walking, bent over, in front of him as much as the cache.
I believe I heard something about 'the view is great from back here'
Oh and to all those cachers who don't carry a torch because it is daylight.... might pay to bring one along.

Well what more can be said about this multi.
Fantastic and gets another favourite point.
After taking the required thing from the first stage we trundled off through the pines.
We were imagining all sorts of dangerous things we would have to do to reach this cache!!!!!
No chimney so we didn't have to climb , not a cave in sight, thank goodness as I hate the dark.
It soon became evident what had to be done to locate this cache.
Locus asked Did you bring a torch!!!
Of course not why would I want one?
The task was done and the log signed.
Well done TeamAstro
Took trackables to visit.

Found during a day of caching with locus_cache and Earthlight, and having a good time in Harry, despite losing a headlamp to a wayward Kangaroo. Was treated to the best view of the day inside the asteroid (Don't ask). Really enjoyed this one, and so a fav point from me. TNLN. TFTC.

What a fantastic place to put a cache. We'd never have known all this was here if it wasn't for caching. The sun was shining down and making things quite warm but it was lovely and cool underground - a great place to retreat on a balmy day, that's for sure. Thankfully, there were no other occupants down below today although we were alert for any possible slithery intruders. The initial walk to WP1 was picturesque and the necessary equipment was soon in hand. After walking to the entrance and affixing said equipment, a foray into the darkness was made. The cache was found easily and geoTM continued along the line for a couple dozen metres further but decided it was all too hard so we returned to the entrance. Once back at the top, geoTM took a short walk to the water tower and the dam (currently dry) while geoAJ took a break and then reinstated the aforesaid equipment. A definite favourite point for this one - and well deserved it is too. We had a wonderful adventure here (and also got a history lesson, too). TFTC TeamAstro
Found It!
I was saving this cache for a special milestone but today I was driving past and I figured why not... It certainly is an interesting place and I can see why its SA's best cache! The question now is, where does it go???
Thanks Astro for the awesome cache!

This is an exceptional cache - we had a great time getting to this one. What a beautiful spot - we may come back to do some bird watching. It is particularly beautiful here in spring.
Well while Geowife stayed outside & avoided huntsmand spiders GeoHubby braved the unknown to search for asteroids. Cache was found easily once the walk was done.
We took a dinosaur and added a Darth Vadar torch

Well we were here earlier in the year and were driven back by a million flies and buzzing insects; but we returned today and were able to shout Astro la Vista Baby with Roverrock and family as we finally claimed this cache. These sorts of caches is what caching is all about I reckon. TFTC Fave point being added.

Had a nice family day out starting here, I was so scared to start off but in the end it was mum and me that found the cache while the other kids walked to the end of the tunnel. Thankyou.
A nice family day out, sadly I lost my mobile phone out caching today if anyone finds it Id love it back
