We are camping at the lovely Cloudy Corner campground and have had a couple of attempts to find this one (had to abandon one when a push bike came along the beach), but either the bush has grown over it or the cache is missing.
Today was a beautiful day for a walk, and what better place to do it than such a beautiful beach! We walked from the carpark at the Western end to GZ. The amount of rubbish on the beach and along the dunes as we neared the Eastern end was rather disgusting, especially all the cigarette butts! We are sure we found the right spot that matched the clue, but couldn't locate the cache. It is a while since it has been found last though, so perhaps it has gone walkabout. The walk was well worthwhile anyway!
Found during our stay on the island.
Easy find, good directions.
Beautiful weather.

Camped nearby and then a quick drive along the beach early in the morning to catch the tide. An easy find and then checked out the campsite at this end of the beach. Will be back. Thanks.
Not quite a DNF, more a No chance at all. Drove along the beach, nice to get the Nissan into 4wd, access permitted by vehicle to the camp grounds, but there were 2 fishermen in the vacinity of GZ. I had to walk the last 100 metres of so, and my heart sank when I saw they were resting their gear against a particular rock. No choice but to walk away. Nice beach though, even in the blowy conditions today. The only reason we didnt camp there tonight was we were not sure about the tides tomorrow, and we need to get to the Bruny Island ecocruise tomorrow morning.

We found this early in day before it got too hot. It would have been a nice beach except for all the people riding their dune buggies and motorbikes up and down the beach and all the dogs on the beach despite signs clearly stating no vehicles or pets allowed. After locating the cache we contemplated having a swim but decided against it because of all the fumes from the vehicles. A real shame about the rednecks because this is a very beautiful location. TNLN TFTC
We were camping in the area with friends, so this cache was most conveniently placed! As it turned out, it was our only cache this trip, as when we took our kayaks to do 'Not another kayak', we discovered that some combination of gremlins and operator eror meant we didn't have the coordinates!!! T slightly buvkled bear magnet L frog clicker. Thanks! We will definitely revisit this area.
Drove straight to it, had to step over a small dead shark to reach the cache, found easy, great spot TFTC
Really missed my poor Land Cruiser whilst out here, but I think I may have introduced the Pathfinder to sand play for the first time - TFTC at a wonderful spot
Found with Wackys. Was a good chance to give the new wacky mobile a run along the beach (the old one got written off on Tuesday...).

Mr red tag had to travel to Bruny Island, so he enlisted Mr CP with the aim of grabbing some unfound geocaches. This one was a beauty - although we utilised 4WD power to get closer to GZ, it in no way diminished the setting of this marvelous view and beach, that seemed to go on forever! The recent rains added to the fun by creating several streams along the beach. The cache was easily found and in first class condition too! For too long this has been on our unfound list, but for no good reason!! I enjoyed this a lot, thanks, el golco !
A nice walk along the beach. Found cache nice and easy. TNLN SL TFTC we would have walked to the cape but twisted ankle from the day before was starting to ache.
Took the Falcon along the beach without a problem. Fantastic campsites nearby, very sheltered and picturesque.
Luvly spot.
Thanks ElGolco.

So took Mum and Dad along the beach in the "4WD" ( Outlander ) to see the view from the campground at the other end. After leaving them at the ( crowded ) camping ground to get some photos, dashed down the hill, easily found the cache, logged and then ran back up the hill.
Think this is as rough as I'm going. Not getting stuck like Swampy et al.....

First find eva... but was with an experienced cacher, so was easy Nice beach walk... a little windy though
Grabbed this one, firs' fer tha day, wit' cousin Bekah. After drivin' our lan'ship through many-a-long an' bumpy road, we finally decided ta jes' walk it. Twas a nice walk, albeit wit' many jellyfish an' albatri an' strange seagul dances.
Took tha two travelers, an' tha coinage, an' replaced 'em wit' a Hudsons card (which still 'as money on it, mehopes).
TFTC, brilliant area, although a bit of a nisnomer, tha bay were better named!

Cache #6 and starting to feel the pinch. Contemplated driving along the beach...but don't like salt encrusted sand getting into 4wd(cheating anyway)...had to park back along the road aways...as 4paws not allowed at carpark...bloody Parks. Great walk along the beach with stunning scenery. It was also a clear blue sky today...not a cloud in sight...noticed in the logbook that the cache was actually placed on the 4th September 2005...3 years exactly to today....and same weather so it seems. Would have been a fantastic trip around Bruny by boat...I was very envious indeed. Had never been down this end of Cloudy Bay before...so sheltered...superb spot. The nearby creek was a real treat with ice cold..clear water...wish I'd brought my water bottle. The walk back had stunning views with snow capped mountains...superb vista once again. Hot footed back in all up time of 70m...paws now getting a tad sore.
TNLN...Thoroughly enjoyed this cache el golco...Cheers.

Found at 4.10pm GAFF2. Unfortunately today was not a very clear sky day. It was quite red actually with lots of dark clouds and rain. We managed to get within 140 metres of the cache after a few apprehensive moments. Loved the location. Thanks el golco. Left a TB in there
A very nice walk along the (totally not) Cloudy Beach. Our 6th cache of Tasmania and one of the most beautiful places to cache. We dropped the Tasmanian Devil TB, guess he will like it there. Took a boomerang and stickers to pimp our backpackvan!

Did the great "Wilderness Cruise" everyone should do it if they can. What a great beach to drive on , our gps took us right to the hide, The sand was so white, the water was so blue. What a special place we have in our back yard. After parking our cachemobile we went for a leasurly stroll along the beach to the rocks.
Took: 1964 penny.
Left: Bear magnet.

Great walk along the beach to this cache on a perfect Tasmanian day. Muggles close by but didn't cause a problem. Took small green frog and left pre-decimal pennies.
First one for the day. Walked along the beach watching muggles in cars doing donuts all over the beach, driving into the dunes etc. Spoils the atmosphere a bit. Great
beach to walk along and a good hide at the end. Left glass ornament and took walrus. Thanks for the cache el golco

Found this one while camping on Bruny Island at Cloudy Bay. We started it once, over a year ago, and Mrs CP had a broken toe, the next time we went for it - Mr CP had a festery, infected toe. We had to get this second time around, so we braved the beach in the car (Mrs CP wanted to walk but was out-voted by the boys) and the Triton Ute managed exceptionally well.
Cache was found instantly as coordinates were spot-on. Muggles quite thoughtfully turned their backs and walked away so we could log this. Took GCC Coin, left L.E.D keyring torch.
Thanks el golco, I have wanted to do this one for ages now!

Spent the day a Bruny, Took the little BBQ, and had a BBQ at the Cache site, would have been better if it wasn't so bloody windy.
great cache site, even the odd two wheel drive on the beach, shouldn't be too difficult only the entry could be a little troulblesome.
T GC black eyed susan, goose and whale
L CC Geocoin, Figurines, aztec and aboriginal.

You feel like you're at the end of the world here, and you pretty much are. A great location. Decided to hoof it instead of driving on the beach, and it proved a nice, relaxing walk on a fine spring morning. Dropped off the Black-Eyed Susan geocoin for some extended traveling around Tas and parts unknown.
We were only moggles when we were here with "weroamin" and they took the 4wd, but alas mazda mobile can't go on the beach. Granddad Devil and Grand she devil took off on foot and left Grandma Devil to feel free to fill in the time and take in the scenery. Great Spot and Good hide.
We arrived at the carpark at about 1.30pm after lunching at Allonah. As we had Sogs folks car we decided to hoof it along the beach to the cache, about 2.8k. Cacher boy did a great job walking most of the way there and back. A nice spot for camping near here. Wish we had more time to linger.
Thanks for this cache El gloco. A great spot.
took Don't be crabby TB left owl and whale key ring.

Woe is me! No dogs! ‘Pets and firearms not allowed even in vehicles.’ Our 2nd cache for our Bruny Island trip, and I had to stoically remain in the cacheMobile whilst the humans walked to the cache site. It was a lovely flat beach which vehicles that are not graced by the presence of me or my fellow canines (or firearms) would have no problem driving. Apparently the avian life is too sensitive for my presence. ‘Sensitive.’ The slaves saw some fairly robust birds, but they did not report back on any that seemed especially sensitive. Whatever.
From my elevated perspective I could watch the slaves make their way. It was a beautiful, sunny blue day with big poofy white clouds. They passed huge kelp trees that had broken off from their undersea anchorages and washed up on the beach.
The most exciting thing they saw, aside from the cache (of course) during their walk was sighted not far before GZ: an echidna! I promise I wouldn’t have eaten her, especially as the female slave named her ‘Beaky’. Beaky let the female slave get quite close to her, so they took a few photos before continuing on to the cache!
Cache was easily found, no 'sensitive' birds were disturbed, and quickly logged. . .and as the female slave was putting the lid back onto the cache container it started raining with huge rain drops! They started their way back and by the time they finally arrived back to the cacheMobile it was sunny and warm yet again! A pattern was forming on this trip – go for a cache, and it rains briefly!

Drove down to Alonnah, had lunch and spoke to the man in the shop - very knowledgable about access to GZ. Headed down towards GZ and as we neared, we left Sweeti Tweeti and Mummy Tweeti in the shade. Took the remaining Tweetis on a beach drive - would have to be the only National Park where you can drive on the sand! An absolutely remarkable place - wish we had bathers with us.
FTF after small discussion about which way GZ actual was.
Took off-road vehicle, left giant marker and a goose.
Thanks el golco.

A lovely little drive along the beach, found quickly. Took Paris pin, left a walrus and a turtle. Ta el golco. I would have loved to do these caches from the water as well.
We cant log a DNF, as we didn't get there to look for the cache, but we had walked halfway around the bay when Mrs CP's broken toe decided it had had enough of being walked on. Mr CP and Piglet were both 'fluey' and tired, and time was running out to catch the ferry, so we had to turn back - much to our regret.
We are going to come back and camp here some time soon though, so we have kept this one in reserve!! Or at least that is our excuse!!
It is the first time I have seen this bay cloud-free, and I have been here quite a bit, so that was a bonus
We'll be back el golco!!!!
