No sign of the cache today for either Svn07 or I... We found a GZ that matched the clue and scoured the area. Also found a couple of nearby similar hidey holes but, no container... Went back to the original GZ and dug deep into the ground cover and soil... Nothing. It's been four months since the last find and we have had significant rains since then... I suspect this one may have become a locationless cache and gone floating downstream...
Sorry to say this was on the growing list of DNFs for Gunnie69 and I today. Not the hit rate we are accoustomed to . Fairly obvious where the cache should have been....but not there.
We are up in the area visiting my daughter and we had some time to kill while waiting for her to come home from work so we thought we'd do some caching. Had a nice walk along to this one. I used to live in the Redlands for many years, but never knew this place was here. Once we were close to GZ the cache was spotted as it was wide out in the open. There was was also a fisherman's bucket with knife and shoes in it nearby - hope he comes back for them. We left a seahorse and signed the log and then hid the cache porperly so it was not out in the open. TFTC
nice place

Lovely location - one of those ones that you just wouldn't find without Geocaching. TFTC
Hahahaha, I was standing directly over the cache surveying the surroundings and did not see it. Only when I decided to head further south to find it I looked over my shoulder and there it was Doh!

An enjoyable walk. I wonder why they put the deck in here?
Found the cache easily. TNLN. Contents are dry.

A nice walk into the area with lots of birds singing and butterflies floating by. Spring is in the air. Cache quickly located. TFTC.
2nd of 11 finds for us today.
Great little spot this one. Very similar to another cache spot in Capalaba ("Mudcrab Madness" I think it is called). We have nearly everything else in our geocaching bag, except the essentials... "Like a fishing line!!!" Oh well... maybe next time.
Grabbed a couple of plastic bags on the way in and filled them up with trash on the way out... Pretty amazing how for a short 100-200 meter walk we filled up 2 plastic shopping bags fulled of rubbish on our way out.
Thanks for the hunt thenanks
Cheers,
Ksix

Found at 12noon, nice trail that I used to ride my bike along. A new fire trail has been cut through recently.
Took Hand-grenade, left parachute-man. Inside was only slightly damp after so much rain. Pleasant outlook on Eprapah Creek! (see photo)

We decided to park the Mystery Machine at the entry as a post was stopping us from bringing her in. After a brief walk we came across a great deck with a great lookout. A quick detour into the bush led us to the cache.

Great little find, got caught in the rain along with the fishermen. Took geocoin - Daimler Ute.
Nice nook, Nanks!
Found in company of jabes on Australia Day. People were there fishing, but GZ was just out of view and the cache was quickly located. Left a geocoin, and dropped off a couple of TBs/GCs for jabes to immediately pick up. TFTC

I enjoyed the pleasant walk with Everlasting and the view of the river too. Didn't take long before Everlasting found the cache. Thanks for leading us to that lovely place.
Caught a few fish in here over the years but hardly any water in sight today. "Mozzy city"

A pleasant walk and a cooling and welcome breeze off the water. The cache was protected by a huge spider web but a stick took care of that quick smart. Left keyring and took nothing. Thanks THENANKS

I really enjoy this type of cache...a great stroll along a bush track ...you cant beat it. It's a great spot...and I can see why it's a popular spot with the locals. Today I had the place to myself and thoughly enjoyed it.
Many thanks for the cache and the introduction to the area

We went down to our "Nook" today and replaced the cache. We have placed a temporary log book in the cache while we dry out the "real" one. When we replace the "real" one we'll add any names of teams that visited in the meantime. It has been rehidden in the same spot but it is slightly smaller container. It should be safe from muggles if well covered by each finder. Happy Hunting .
A lovely quiet out of the way spot. Rode the bike in and walked the last 50m from the wooden platform
Cache was in the obvious spot. Log book was still a little damp so I waved it around a bit to dry it some more. Cache is in good nick considering it's ordeal. The location doesn't seem to be very secure though and is likely to be found by more muggles in the future.
Draculix 1 (Asterix) travel bug visited !!

Nice easy find. The cache was soaked. We poured a couple of inches of water out of the container. We decided to spread the contents out to dry while we fished. Once the cache dried (between showers of rain) we replaced it.
No swaps today. TFTC!
P.S. It's true - you CAN catch bream and cod here, as well as whiting, mud crabs and bloody toad fish......

Time: 11:45
Time to Find: 2 mins
Cache Condition: Out in the open, strewn about and waterlogged.
Note: I’m in town from Cleveland Ohio USA on vacation, and doing some caching while in Australia. I know this area pretty well as we used to store a boat at one of the marina’s along Beveredge Street years ago … before kids … lol! I simply had to stop on the way and take a picture of the “Lizards Cross Here†sign … too funny … ahhhh … today really has been a waltz down memory lane! I found parking for the car within 500 or so feet and followed the track in towards the cache site. The cache was found easily … mainly because it was strewn all about near GZ. It was full of water and the log book was soaked. I did my best to package it back up and get it re-organized, but I had no cache supplies on me and so it will need a fairly urgent visit from the cache owners for a maintenance run ASAP! I signed the sodden log book … and then I was back on my way.

No trouble finding where to park. All we needed was a referdex, a GPSr and a pair of dividers. [^]
Mrs Lat&Long was taking photos while I picked up the cache. TN/LN/SL. It was late in the day and the mozzies were hungry, so we had to keep moving. Still enjoyed the area and if I was a fisherman, I'd probably enjoy it more.

Great walk in here. We had no idea this creek existed. It's almost a river (possibly is, we didn't check). Some muggles were fishing off the lookout, but they had no idea what we were doing 45 meters down the track. Big cache NANKS. TFTC TNLN.
What a beautiful spot. I wonder how many people (other than the fisherman) know about this little walk.
We strolled down to GZ and found the cache really easily in the obvious spot. The sun was shining & the creek looked lovely, we really enjoyed coming here.
This was our 10th of 19 finds for the day and we swapped a sticky snapping lizard for a sticky animal at 12:50... time for lunch!

Geodad actually made this find. Apparently its a lot easier when you are carrying the gps (I think he means that I hog it.... I just say that he doesn't come along often enough).
Helped some desperate fish get to their food... someone had left a bag of bait in the water... poor fish were going beserk. Theres something to be said about being the species that has hands.

A great spot - we enjoyed the stroll down to the location of the cache - on the way we chatted with some friendly fishermen.

First of nine cache finds on my second night in Brisbane. I picked the parking place OK, but the track seemed to go off in the wrong direction. I persisted, and soon found myself at GZ. I found the cache at 1855. Then I realised that I had left my swaps (and my green emu stamp) in the car. So, I made no exchange. It's hard to tell at night, but the area looked really nice, even under torch light. Thanks to THENANKS for the cache.
AAAAAAARG! Pirate, you SCURVY DOG!!!
Left magnet, took marbles & high-tailed it to the next cache. Nice hide. Will be back here to look around.

Well that pirate beat us all again - when on earth did he sleep???? He rowed his boat up to this one I am sure - perhaps he parked the boat here last night and came onto land just this morning??? Anyhow we found it - along with a geo kid visiting us - we took some stars, marbles and a magnet and left a puzzle, a snapper lizard and some elastics. What a cool spot - would love to see it at high tide.
aaaaaaargh!FIRST TO PLUNDER!new where this would be,rowed in as q'ite as the black pearl, cache was full of booty in a great smuglin' spot!tnlnsl, thanks nanks!
