Being a nemesis cache all i did was drive by given the lack of finds of recent times - I've already domne my time at this place.
Did not find it. As others have mentioned the Council has done a lot of work in the area and this may have created a problem. Tavurvur
No joy with this one today. With help from Silver Sovereign and Svn07, we searched the area for a while. I took the clue and dug deep in the obvious hidey hole. Nothing... This one really needs a check.
Lovely Saturday morning Tour of the Bayside showing Gunnie69 and Silver Sovereign the sights. Our only DNF for the day . Perhaps time for a replacement. Cheers, svn07
I have found this cache previously but on checking the area today it appears the council have done a heap of clearing of the river bank and I was unable to re-locate the cache. Probably needs checking.
Out this morning to nab a few of the relatively local caches that still elude our finding.
Had quite a long look around GZ to try and locate this cache, but could not find anything. Our GPSr had GZ located on the creek side of the path in the area. The local area looks as though it has had a LOT of water through it in recent times. Not knowing if the cache may have been washed away, we rang the owner hot line to confirm (or not) the location of GZ. Seems our GPSr may be putting GZ in the wrong spot [8O]. With some hints from the owners we continued our search but unfortunately this one still eluded us.
Guess this one goes on the watch list...
Cheers,
Ksix

I'm sure I have been here before. Off memory last time I was looking on the wrong side of the path.
This wasn't an easy find and I think I was rather lucky to be poking in the right place.
Anyway it is good to find one which hasn't been found for so long and the most recent logs being DNFs.

Had a quick stomp around. The GPSr seemed to settling on a tree just off the path but no cigar. Thanks for the hunt.
The GPS was all over the place and I was not able to find this one. A lot of water has been through here recently up to the path and it may have disturbed the cache. Thanks for the hunt.
No problems finding this one. Waited a few minutes for the GPS to settle, and it put us right on top of it.
No dogs or nosey neighbours to bother us.
We left a koala keyring and took a snow globe.
Thanks for the cache!

My partner and I gave up after about 30 minutes but our company Everlasting wouldn't give up as usual! And she found the cache! Our big heroine! Thanks to The Nanks.
Picked up TB Dak#4.

I had chance for a good look around. The coords are all over the place due to the tree cover but I kept on finding today that some caches were always 7m out....but which direction?
I couldn't find it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. It has been a while since last found so it may be worth a visit from the owner.

DNF today. Looked everywhere but obviously not in the right place. We had to be quiet as a neighbour was cleaning out his pool. Back again at some future time.
The Geobirds were hiding today. Could not get a good fix but when I did I didn't believe it.
Wandered around looking in all the other spots and then returned to where the GPS was saying and looked closer. There it was.
Thanks for showing me that I am going blind.

Should have trusted the gps - it was right where it should have been I just had to look a bit harder. TNLN. Thanks THENANKS.
Found with geonephew Bedmaker. As has been said, it's a "needle in a haystack". That 'thing' beside the cache may wish to be what your clue calls it, but I think it will be some years before it attains its status.
The two of us searched for better than half an hour, serenaded by the damned dog, but surprisingly, not a muggle to be seen the whole time.
This cache is very well hidden and we felt extremely satisfied when it was logged. TN/LN/SL and put it back so the next cacher can have the same experience we had. Good luck - you're gonna need it.

Found with Geo-uncle lat&long junkie. As said in his log, we spent a while searching for this. Got the bugger in the end. It gave me some idea's for my next cache.

No way I was leaving GZ today till I found this cache
The dogs were barking, but fortunately I don't think the crabs were home
After a good half hour of annoying the general neighbourhood by encouraging the doggies, I made a last ditch attempt at finding the cache.
Once again a largish cache container evaded me for way too long thanks to it's simple camoflauge [^]
Caution: needle in a haystack...

Grrrr. Another excessively well hidden Redlands cache [:(!]
With added barking dog and 'crabs'.... no wonder I'm losing my hair [:o]
I'll be back

Come-on NANKS, you normally make your caches nice and comfortable and a pleasure to find. This little bugger was a real b@#*ch. 30 minutes searching, Dogs barking, suspicious home owners, back to the car and check the logs, back again with renewed vigor and success. At the end of a long day we did not need this. We loved it anyway. TFTC TNLN
Visitng friends on the dark side. What's this a cache only down the road. No No No not this one again.
Had to run away quickly as the crabs came looking over the fence at me after only 5 mins at the site. No 2 DNF here for me.

On my way home from a meeting at work made the find without much trouble. TFTC.
7th of 18 finds for the night in the company of Mr Hawmorfords. I was back in the area tonight so had to have another shot at this one.
This time it revealed itself much easier than last time - in fact I'm not sure how I missed it.
The usual dogs were still barking in the background here.

Spent 20 min prior to Brisblitz with no luck - saw the crabs and saw the big dog but not the cache.

Spent over an hour today, came up empty handed. Any chance of re-checking the coords on this one?
Someone has written hi in green chalk on the path where my gps zeros out.

Yessssss ! Gotcha this time and i have gotta say it's a lot easier during the day. In fact it was a pedestrian find today....... Must've been the Crabs the other night!
We took a chalk egg and left a bear.
Thanks to the Nanks for the cache.
*EDIT* Oh yeh, did i mention we found it FIRST !!!

I finally have logged this cache but admit to not actually finding it. Muddie_Waters found it right in front of my eyes. So I am fourth to find and take my hat off to all who came before me lol. Good to meet the spinks also.
We had the pleasure of accompanying the HawMorFords looking for this cache - shame it took us so long to get home after the BrizBlitz before we could log the find. TFTC TNLN
MY GPS went mad and so did the local dog. Good luck to the next person I gave in
O, the tale of woe, the rain came down and the satellites didn't want to play. Now I an very wet sitting at my computer not 400m from this cache. Maybe I will try again in half an hour when the blue sky appears and nature allows the signals from heaven.
I hope the owner of this cache doesn't live in one of the nearby houses and take great delight at the peril of us poorly geocachers. If I can use the lingo of a fellow cacher, ARRRRGH YOU SCURVY DOGS!!!

I had a quick check this morning. I think the pirate must have put the patch over his good eye because it is still there. It is at the base of a tree, that is about the size of pirates timber leg. It was called crabsville because of all the neighbours nearby. My dad always saws "THE CRAB ARE WATCHING",meaning the neighbours are sticky beaks.????
Not normal ,I know.

Mr Hawmorfords and I had trouble finding the right way into here initially, but it didn't take us long to work it out.
Unfortunately we took way to long to give up on this one... I really don't know where it could be hidden that we didn't look.

What can i say - we looked everywhere for waaaaaaaay too long. Eventually, the neighbours came home, the lights came on and the dog woke up.
Time to go!
