The Wench had an appointment just over the hill (no, not the castle looking place
) and we stopped here on our way back home.
Like other finders, I well remember that day. Not so much for the Bendigo events, but for the events further south and the enormous media coverage. Only a few hours after the Bendigo air was starting to slowly clear I was on a BRT (big red truck) heading into the Clonbinane area and a sight that will never fade - black and grey as far as the eye could see from the top of a big hill.
