Russell Street Police Station, Melbourne.
This was the headquarters for the Victoria Police until around 1980. Viewers of the series "Homicide" may recognise it from the opening titles of the show. You may also recall the "Russell Street bombing" in 1986, at this site.
The original front of the building is now used as apartments, while the rear (eastern side) has been demolished to make room for the high-rise building you can see on the right of the photo.
