Council works in area yet again making it unable to be replaced yet. 

Council works have finally wrapped up and access to hide compromised. New container and hide coming soon. 

TFTC. Found today in the company of Jaggedwings who has previously found it. Testing out the new 4WD's capabilities and this one was pretty easy as we drove both ways in and enjoyed removing the multitude of branches crossed across the tracks no doubt placed by the annoyed locals to keep the hoons out. I love a cache that brings a smile to my face and was not disappointed here with little fergzters efforts. 

Upon trying to leave new container today, found council works have again ramped up and new signage for the local War Memorial is going in. Once again I need to rethink what to do with this information as it crowds the area and I will wait until they have finished before trying to relocate a hide. 

Still under maintenance as the bridge is still blocked in both directions. 

TB dip as visiting with Jaggedwings today. This was my first ever cache and I'm glad I've had the chance to revisit. 

TFTC. Found today with Jaggedwings while out off road testing the new 4WD. We sure came about the long way to here and eventually parked 100m away and made the trek around the dam. What a beautiful location made even better by meeting a local who guided us towards the cache while we inadvertently disturbed his peace while he mourned his son who is resting nearby. A log signed, a handshake and condolences and we were soon on our way. 

Found while visiting with CO today while maintenance was carried out.

Maintenance check today. All works in area have been completed. However hiding area for cache has become overgrown and inaccessible. Cache container (damaged), was found and fully recovered. Looking to place a new container in this spot asap.

TFTC. Visiting the Sunshine State from Vic and quickly nabbed this one with Jaggedwings while heading back to the airport. What a great location! Next time we'll have to visit the beach.

Have been past today and the maintenance is still underway and the area fenced off. Will update more when I get an idea of when the area will become available again.

Thank you for the event Gemma, was good to have a quick New Year catch up before the heat worked its way up. Looking forward to a fun cache filled year. 

TFTC. Found today with Jaggedwings and a nice simple hide given the heat had us melting every time we stepped out of the car. 

Out and about in Ararat with Jaggedwings today and the cache hunt was on. A very straightforward multi, though walking through the tunnel was very Indiana Jones with such a hot day and all the local flies buzzing about. At the final WP Jaggedwings was much quicker off the mark and soon had the log in hand. 

Found today with Jaggedwings and what a great spot, would loved to have made the visit inside but with the sun beating down we were keen to move on. 

TFTC. Quick easy find today while out and about with Jaggedwings. Used the hint as the heat was getting the better of us and we were keen to return to the car that we had parked at a nearby multi. Cache was exposed in the open so the through hint help us replace it to its rightful position. 

TFTC. Found today with Jaggedwings while coming back through Ararat on the way home. A very nice hide which I grabbed while Jaggedwings was crawling around looking in the wrong place. 

Out and about in Ararat today with Jaggedwings and nailed a few caches during the heat. Sat at the nearby table to solved the coordinates before deciding on lunch and a couple more quickies before heading out to GZ to sign the log here. Thank you for the history lesson.

In an attempt to be steathly here just about everyone from town went past as Jaggedwings retrieved the log. Who knew such a quiet street could be so busy at midday... 

TFTC. Nice little hide, quick find while cruising back to Ballarat. Enjoyed the story so had to stop and sign the log. 

TFTC. I have had this one solved for ages now and today found myself here after a nice lunch in Beaufort. A short walk on a nice sunny day to GZ and a quick find with Jaggedwings. Thanks for the hunt C&C. 

Roadworks in the area have wrapped up for Xmas, so everything is now accessable. In the meantime I'm assessing whether to change the container placement for easier access. Should be good to go very shortly. 

TFTC. Found by accident with Jaggedwings this very nice EC while out doing the MEGA Lab Caches. Not to be perturbed by the giggling locals behind us, we sort out the answers and filed them into our book to email the CO that night. I enjoy lookout views over water and was not disappointed here. Thanks for the time and effort here Coffees.

First cache on Mega day found during the Welcome to Anglesea Event. Hard to miss with the hoards crowding around to get their names in the log. 

TFTC. A very nice way to ca off the MEGA evening with a meander through the trees to find the Fairy House.
