Geokids 2 and 3 and I found this one while camping at the wonderful Bushmans Rest Caravan Park for the Melbourne Cup long weekend.Topped up the swaps.TFTC! 

Found another Mary MacKillop cache while on holidays in NSW This one required 3 visits- the first the coords were a little out and the kids were hungry so back to our accomodation nearby for lunch. Second time a muggle right near GZ made retrieval impossible. Third time, after a quick read of the logs for some hints, resulted in a quick find! TFTC Travelling Sister! 

Ive been targeting this series of Mary MacKillop caches, and was delighted to discover several of them in towns were travelling through during our school holidays!This was the first- a early morning quick stop part way through a long road trip day.TFTC Travelling Sister! 

Weve been targeting this series since we stumbled across the first one in Penola. Excited to find this one in my home town today! I went to St Joesphs and the Anacletus Church as a kid.TFTC Travelling Sister! 

On our way to Melbourne and stopped to let the kids have a play- naturally checked for any geocaches nearby and this one popped up!Quick find, TFTC! 

Weve been targeting these Mary MacKillop Caches whenever we travel. Kids have a few days off school around the Victorian PH so weve come to the beach, and had to grab this one while were in the area!Grabbed the coords while visiting the lovely op shop that is now in the old Sacred Heart school building (well worth a visit!!), quick drive to GZ and even faster find.TFTC Travelling Sister!

Today was the perfect opportunity to find the Riverland ones, as were travelling through childless back from Adelaide.This one was first, and was a quick stop on our way through.TFTC!

After finding our first of this series in Penola earlier this year, Ive been targeting them while travelling around Vic and SA. Today was the perfect opportunity to find the Riverland ones, as were travelling through childless back from Adelaide.This one was last on our hit-list, and while I made a quick find I had a slight mishap with replacing the cache in its intended location (needs to be done with great care!) With some creative retrieval methods (my relevant TOTT seems to have gone walkabout since its last use) its was back where it belongs!! TFTC! 

Staying nearby for a family wedding and saw this nearby cache on the map so naturally had to go for a walk to find! Wasnt disappointed!TFTC! 

Checked on this one today- all good

Enjoyed a wonderful sunny Sunday morning bike riding/dog walking around Kings Billabong.

We were limited with track options today with several closed due to flooding (again!) but thankfully were able to make it down this track, with a quick stop to find this cache!

Had to make a quick find for International Geocaching Day this weekend, so did a quick detour past this one.

This one has been on my to-do list for ages, given how close it is to our house! Needed everyone in the team to be on-point for the field cache component though- and decided today was the day! After a short walk we made a quick find, then got into puzzle-solving mode.
Took us a little bit to get each component, but on the end we were successful and the kids were rewarded with swaps for their assistance.

Dropped a trackable, and reset ready for the next finder as per CO’s notes.

Geoson ran around the park and got the answers for this one back in December while here for a play. We had a quick look for GZ but grumpy hungry kids trumped making a find so we vowed to come back again soon.
Fast forward, and I’ve been at this location dozens of times the last few months moving the local Toy Library into a building here- and every time meaning to find this but forgetting!

Today was the day- we came to do a few things at the Toy Library and I ducked across the park to make a quick find at GZ. Retrieving took a little longer for this short statured geocacher- I tried to lift up both Geoson 1 and 2 but they weren’t any help!
Finally I managed to get the cache in hand and earn a long-desired smiley for this one!

Quickly ran over to this memorial before the rain hit today during a quick stop on our way to Adelaide. Kids love the playground across the road!

Was nice to also involve the kids in a discussion about Archie Roach.

We won’t be able to attend this afternoon ?? So sad to miss this one but we’ve got another event to attend!
 

A Public Holiday for the Kings Birthday was the perfect time to find this local cache without being seen by the near-by workers!

Quick drive by find- logbook is full but squeezed our name in the corner of the last page.

Great little walk from the car park! Geohubby stayed back with the geokids while they smacked after completing the boardwalk walk inside the park.

Each location was spectacular- even the kids were impressed (hard to achieve with geological highlights!)

Came for a quick look out here in the afternoon after arriving in the area on a family holiday.

Enjoyed a break in the rain to come out to see the petrified forest while on a family holiday in the area. Geoson 1 particularly interested in the geology of the area.

Trying to squeeze some geocaching into our itinerary on our family holiday when the kids and hubby are interested.
Luckily the kids were VERY into running around and around the labyrinth!

Geohubby and quickly solved the coords then it was just a matter of getting the kids to leave the labyrinth in search of GZ- which they equally enjoyed!

On a family holiday and did a quick drive by solo while out sightseeing for the day in between rain showers.

I ‘found’ the log, but didn’t attempt to retrieve given it’s fairly well in there and it’s only paper, I didn’t want to damage it. Have sent photo to CO to assess and prove I found it!

Balumbul Sinkhole was at the top of our list to visit on our family holiday, and I was excited to be able to log an earth-cache while here!
