Description
A pretty easy near drive-by find for you
While driving south after a caching trip with Albida33, LuckyL10n and Sol de Lune we thought we'd add a few caches along the more remote areas to encourage people to stop for a rest and revive and survive !!
This cache is located at Thurrulgoona Creek - an essential destination for all you grey nomads and thrill seekers.... Lol. The cache is not very difficult to find.
Please replace as found to ensure this cache lasts.
Happy Hunting !!
My traveling mates will be claiming a find as they were with me when it was placed, but of course they will not be claiming the first to find.

This was a 2-for-1 spot here today but the GC one was too far away for any interest. That meant this was the main option and once at GZ, it was a quick find at 12:20.
TNLNSL. Thanks fitzy_1965.

Found by accident while looking for a GC hide 40 meters further west. Tnx for the cache
TFTC,
Rain changed our direction of travel and guided us here.
Doing a GC cache nearby with Baby & Mrs gopher who had downloaded GA caches we might get close to.
Stamped the log.

Heading to Blackall Qld for QOGM 2019.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find. GC caches are a few far and between on these outback roads.

Thank goodness you fellas travelled this roaad and left some caches for us to find. This was a little different from the others and wasn't quite where I was expecting it to be, though Pa had everything under control. Once at correct GZ log was quickly retrieved, signed and returned to its hiding place. Thanks again Fitzy_1965.

We were very appreciative of the excuse to stop and walk around a bit, on this very long stretch of road.

Alice trip 2017. Day 27. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I traveled from Charlieville to Nyngen. A long day on the road with not much caching to do. I was happy to be present when this cache was placed near a spot I have stopped the night a few times.
Thanks

On the last leg of trip home after the Alice Springs event and a visit to Darwin, a few caches were hidden along the back roads to hopefully encourage more Geocaching Australia and to also give drivers a reason to take a break.
Great to see this one has now been claimed and those of us who were there when the cache was placed can claim a find.
Congrats to YOF and thanks fitzy_1965 for the cache....

#GA2446 - 00:00; I was with the CO when he placed this cache on Day 28 of our Alice Mega Road Trip, as we headed south for home. I can't believe it took nine months for someone to make the first find, but I guess it really is a road less travelled. Now that it has been found, I'm claiming my find. TFTC fitzy_1965

Day two of my Western Trip. Left St George at 0600 and arrived in Thargomindah at 1400 via Cunnamulla Barringun then back to the Mulla then out to Thargo. Tomorrow. Thargo to Yowah then Quilpie. 700K to day 650 yesterday, and this is only day two.
Started to get very overcast about 30 k south of the Mulla dn ran into a light shower of rain at this Bridge. Rain got heavy for about 10 minuets whilst I sat at the border waiting to go for a wlk in the black soil to the creek to get a cache.
Quick find on this one. All good. Now the others can log. TFTC Fitzy_1965
