We continued on our trip down the Yorke Peninsula today as we hunted down caches in the Gone Fishn' series. We had this cache on our list to provide a break from drive bys and so we could enjoy a walk in a convservation area that we had not previously visited.

It was very dry in the park today and it was interesting to see how the plants, particularly some of the very small ones are surviving. We were busy spotting different varieties of ants ant almost walked straight passed this large gnome standing patiently waiting for his next visitor.

After examining the gnome, not sure it appreciated being up ended, we noticed the container and soon had the log signed. Gnome, cache container and contents were in excellent condition.

Thanks Laighside Legends for the cache and for bringing us to this reserve. Unfortunately we saw no Winter Spider Orchids but will have to come back on our next visit to SA in the hope they will be in flower. We enjoy finding native orchids flowering in their natural habitats.

We hope Ghost of Gnomey's Lost Cousin has many more visitors in the future

A nice quick find on our way through the area today. We never did find the original Ghost of Gnomey cache, and wondered whether this cache was going to have a similar outcome. Luckily this cache actually is at the listed coordinates, and there's no mistaking a big bright gnome lurking in the scrub!

Thanks Laighside Legends.

GCA #386 Found on the SA leg of our 2017 escape trip. Wink
A perfect Spring day for a drive around with Tassie Trekkers.
Hardly any muggles around on these roads, and many quick finds.
Logged the joint *FTF* and back on the road again.
Thanks for the cache Laighside Legends,
