Description
Morambro Creek crossing
This cache has been placed at quiet spot along the Riddoch Highway near the intersection of Naracoorte Road as you travel south, which until now lacked any GCA caches.
There is an area to pull over safely near GZ, but probably not great if you are towing a van?
Stretch you legs, grab a breath of fresh air and a cache as you ready yourself to resume your travels!
(Sol de lune was with me when I placed this cache and will claim a find once the first to find has been claimed).

Heading in the wrong direction for this one so I stopped in the parking bay.Headed down into bed of the creek which was dry and walked in the direction I needed to go. There is a pool of water back under the bridge though.Cache in good condition and no snakes spotted but it looked damn snakey.

This was another GCA cache we found on our way through the area today on our way back to Melbourne to catch the ferry home for Easter.
We made use of the parking space close to the hide and had no difficulty in locating the cache safely tucked away in a hide frequently used by geocachers. Container and contents were in very good condition.
Thanks for another cache in this area LuckyL10n. We enjoyed our stop here even though there was no water in the crossing.

Now with the first to find claimed, it's time to claim a find for myself. I was with the CO when the cache was placed. The plan was to encourage more GCA finds, but you can't do that without GCA hides. Hopefully the caches we placed in the local (and not so local) area's will do this.
If you're travelling through the area...make sure you take the time to stop and grab this one.
Thanks LuckyL10n....we'll get more GCA caches out there.....even if we need to hit SA a bit more....
