Heading south along the Riddoch Highway from Penola?

In need of a break?

Here's the answer, a GCA cache which might just add another zone to the tally for the dedicated dragonZoner!

Placed this cache at the intersection of Tower Road and the Riddoch Highway while headed south towards Mount Gambier with Sol de lune (who will claim a find once the first to find has been claimed).

Ample parking and a nice spot to stretch the legs for the weary traveller.

(Sol de lune was with me when I placed this cache and will log a find once the first to find has been claimed).

After successfully completing our second goal - an ftf on a recently placed cache in Penola we made a quick trip to look for this cache. There were a few heavy trucks on this section of the road which meant we had to be very careful selecting a drop off spot. We had to park well round the corner in Tower road to avoid causing an obstruction in the turning lane.

Accurate coordinates and a familiar hide enabled us to make a quick find. Container and contents were in very good condition.

Thanks for this cache in the Wattle Range dragonZone LuckyL10n. We had fun finding this cache even though finding it added an extra 20km to todays journey.

Sol de lune

Now with the first to find claimed, it's time to claim a find for myself. I was with the CO when the cache was placed. The plan was to encourage more GCA finds, but you can't do that without GCA hides. Hopefully the caches we placed in the local (and not so local) area's will do this.

If you're travelling through the area...make sure you take the time to stop and grab this one.
