When checking caches along our route we spotted this cache. Today we got to look for this cache. The very long, dry grass between this hide and the road were of concern to Mrs y'stassie who was thinking snakes, ticks, spiders and any manner of creepy crawlies. However the attraction of another GCA won in the end. Off she went walking pole in hand. After a tentitive start she was soon at GZ where she spotted the cache container through the grass. banging, stamping and poking followed and when she was sure that no dangerous occupants were cohabiting with the cache container she removed it from its hide and began to search for the log. This she found after undoing every lid and removing every moving part much to the amusment of her other half.
Thanks for this cache Tassie Trekkers. It did present some challenges. We only found 3 tiny ticks after our stroll through the grass.

This cache got us thinking... Why don't we stop here for a cuppa and an apple turnover....? So we did. TFTC Tassie Trekkers.

Driving from Winton to Charleville today and going to gaze at the stars tonight. Will be a few weeks before the Longreach to Quilpie road is open, the way we wanted to come, due to the glorious flooding of the channel Country by Coopers Creek. Parked safe and made a quick find. Now understand why this name.
