Description
As we were walking around the Jericho showgrounds on a recent visit there we came across a turnstile and wondered if there are many still remaining around the country. Let us see the turnstiles that you discover on your travels.
A turnstile, also called a baffle gate or turnstyle, is a form of gate which allows one person to pass at a time. It can also be made so as to enforce one-way traffic of people, and in addition, it can restrict passage only to people who insert a coin, a ticket, a pass, or similar. Wikipedia
To log a find, please take a photograph of the turnstyle. GPS/or selfie is optional.
You can log this locationless as many times as you desire, providing that there is another geocachers log entry between your log entry.
Happy cahing!!

Logging for the Cacheopoly Games
This turnstile is at the entrance to The Arm End Public Recreation Reserve. I was in the area looking for other caches.
While doing GA14159 - "How long to the end of your Arm" by LilRafa, I came across this turnstile
Had to pass through it to access the track to the cache
TFTC and cheers

I knew about this turnstile and I thought about making a new locationless cache. After getting home today from the lake, I took a look to see if anyone already published a cache with this theme and discovered Gullivers Travels54 beat me to it. Anyway, it is another added to the list. TFTLC
When we saw this cache published we knew which turnstile we'd be using for our log and for once we didn't have to travel all over to find it. The heritage listed Nirvana Monument was built as a memorial by Alfred Perrott who lost his eldest son in WWI. He sectioned off the corner of his property to build the public war memorial. The turnstile has symbols of the army and navy worked into the handles.

I managed to finish at the MCG in Melbourne.
While leaving I spotted this turnstile at the MCC exit.
I even managed to use it!!

I remember there is (or used to be) a similar one-way turnstile at the bottom of Taronga Zoo, I was a casual teacher there once with a school group and one of the kids managed to exit the Zoo and couldn't get back in. Drama! I look forward to seeing the turnstile pics from others!
