Alice trip 2017. Day 7. Today we drove from Whyalla to Glendambo via Roxby Downs. A first for me. Along the way we managed a few GCA caches including this lookout cache.

Thanks

#GA1461 - 16:45; Day 9 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune and albida33. After a day of caching in and around Whyalla, it was time to head further north for our next stop at Glendambo with a detour into Woomera, Roxby Downs and Olympic Dam. After our detour we were now back on the Stuart Highway and headed for Glendambo, but we still had a few more caches on the 'to do' list, including this one. Stopped and grabbed some snaps on the way past. TFTC Everlasting Very HappyClan Cerberus

Quick stop and photo as we headed north to the Alice. Great views over the area and certainly worth the reason to stop.

Thanks Everlasting......see you in Alice.

04-Apr-17
Nice views across to the salt lake shimmering in the sun. No boring picnic seats and table here - someone went to a lot of trouble with a lot of different coloured paints to get that unique stripey effect! TFTC Everlasting.

We headed from Woomera to Coober Pedy as we trek north to the event at Alice Springs we stopped at this spot for a break and snapped the required photo. Thanks for the break, a lovely view. See you at the mega.

A nice rest stop to take in a view – thanks for showing us.

16-Jul-16
We stopped, we rested & we viewed. Piccie snapped & we're on our way north again. Hard to believe that the previous finders were a couple familiar to us back in our home state from a find way back last Oct. What's wrong with GCA you mainlanders?

17-Oct-15
Found on our journey South stopped and snapped the required pic. Thanks Everlasting for the cache.

Found today on our SA caching road trip - driving from Port Augusta to Coober Pedy today. It was so muddy at these rest stops after all the recent rain - I nearly lost a leg in the mud at a previous stop. So we took in the view - very interesting - took some photos and moved on. TFTC Very Happy

Found this one at 11:05pm on my way from Coober Pedy to Woomera.
Feeling a little sleepy so a stop was in order and some caffeine consumed.
GPS was the TomTom because I didnt't find my 60CSX.
Thanks for the find!

WanderingAus wandered by on day 93 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, finally heading south after 9 weeks in Darwin, 3 days in Katherine, 3 days in Tennant Creek, and as happens only about every fourth year we spent some time in Alice Springs.

After a week in The Alice we made our way south, and then stopped for a couple of days in Coober Pedy.

After a brief stop at Glendambo we continued on and spotted a large body of water, just as TomTom alerted me to the presence of this virtual geocache. The WanderingMrs kindly pulled over so that I could 'find' the cache and deploy a couple of Munzees.

1 of only 2 caches attempted today after leaving Roxby Downs and heading north. There were flies everywhere and the large amount of rubbish doesn't help. Sorry about the poor photo, it doesn't do the view justice, but we weren't messing around getting a second one as we didn't want to fight through the flies again. Thanks.
