Description

The Big Koala

I was out and about on the 02022020 day and came across this not so hidden gem near the 'Dog on the Tuckerbox'. I decided that this icon needs a cache so cachers can go discover one of Australia's big things.

To claim a find on this cache, take a photo of yourself and/or GPS with 'The Big Koala' in the background and place it with your log. All found logs without supporting photos will be asked to delete their log. Enjoy!

That's a pretty cool koala.

For some reason it reminds me of Blinky Bill.

Moree interest in the dog here as should be expected!

Wangaratta Mega trip Day 5. It has taken quite some time to get this trip going so it is a great feeling to be on the road for a great weekend away with great caching with friends and new friends. This was my last day and after a long morning around Wangaratta, I headed hove to Canberra via Gundagai. I was not intending to stay as long, but when I was looking at the remaining caches last night I realised there were several more I wanted to do, so I stayed a bit longer.

Thanks for the cache JohnoMawbs

Today we were in Gundagai and stopped to check out the koala. This is a new addition since our last visit. Mrs Y'stassie agreed to join the koala for a photo shoot.

Thanks for this virtual cache JohnoMawbs. We enjoyed meeting this new (to us) addition. Our photo of Mrs Y'stassie with the koala has been added.

We started our annual pilgrimage to Mt Beauty today after lunch as we usually do to supposedly relieve my stress levels. That didn't work as I still had a million and one things to do. We actually were ready to leave at the designated time and drove through the rain to Gundagai. TG47 was very cooperative, unhitched the van and drove me around to find 3 caches - 2 GC and this one. Thanks for the cache Johnomawbs. ClappingClapping We couldn't resist having a cuddle each.

Yass to Cootamundra today, with about all the detours one can imagine. Again a great day of caching with a mix of traditionals and multi's. This one was a quick stop and grab.
