NGAPALA Cricket and Hockey

The clubs home grounds was situated beyond this site on the property owned by K.W. Mosey.

The Hockey Club was active during the 1920 - 30s

The Cricket Club had its begining proir to the 1930s useing these grounds and later transferred to point Pass.

Caching east of Saddleworth towards Point Pass we stopped by to visit this site.

Another quick stop to read the history and take a couple of pictures while passing through this area. I too have visited here before but it is always nice to have a reason to stop and enjoy these interesting locations (and break a drive Mr. Green ) Also very nice to find another Everlasting cache

Second time past this spot but at least it was dust rather than rain I had to contend with. just after setting the camera up for the self portrait a great truck thundered past in a cloud of dust. Amazing to think that were enough people in this small area to support all that sport, how times have changed.

Second virtual cache of the day just up the road from the last one stopped for a quick photo and grabbed the real cache just by it as well and kept going on our way. TFTC Everlasting

Obviously a busy little town in days gone past but now is just a memory with old buildings and memorial plaques to show us what was once here Thanks Everlasting for the cache...

Was there today not long after you - took a photo (you would need to look in the reflection to see the GPS in the car Smile.

Does this make it a *FTF* after missing out on Julia Creek Police Station.
