Description
The Sunday of the Easter weekend in years past would have seen many a cacher at a Mega event somewhere in Australia. This year it was going to be at Millicent in SA, but of course that hasn't happened because of the current COVID-19 situation. (Hopefully the event will still go ahead in October...fingers crossed)
So to help try and make it feel like we are at Mega, lets drag out those car flags from previous events and share a photo here. The car flag can be from any of the Australian Mega's that have been held....and there have been a few of them now.
No GPS requried, just a photo of the flag, however if your photo is of a flag on your car, you must mention in your log which Mega it is.
Can we get a photo of from every Mega that has had car flags???

Note: Yes, well noted whitewebbs. Alice Springs did not reach Mega status, however the flag from that event is totally accepable for this Locationless.

The first flag we located was Alice Springs - but here is a Clear Waters one - we do have more around somewhere.

Yep, along with the one I posted when I published this Locationless, I have another 6 or 7 from Australian mega event. A lot of fun driving around the location of the mega with flags flying and being able to recognise other cachers....hopefully we can all do it again soon.
I have got a couple. One was handy so took the snap and here it is. One of the better ideas for a location less, simple and quick as it should be.

I have been using my flags as a backdrop for my ZOOM chats so they were already in display, using my son's music stand to hold them.

I seem to have 2 Australian mega flags, 2015 Stanthorpe and 2018 Lake Macquarie. Add to that a couple of NZ ones from 2012 and 2016. Plenty of happy memories from those megas as well as the first 2, Wagga Wagga and Albury that I went to. Thanks Sol de lune.

We have been to all five Victorian Mega’s,. The only flag that has survived is from the 2019 St Arnaud mega. It is also the closest to home for us.
I loved all the Megas I have been to but my flag is from the Alexandra Event

What a good idea for a locationless. Pictured is our personalised flag we were given at Alice Springs, 2017. I know it never achieved Mega status but it should have. Also included is 4 flags of Easter Megas we have travelled to from Tasmania. The flags were packed in the van ready for Millicent as we hang them on our caravan when on site. TFTL
