Description
I challenge you to show us a picture of a particular Path Tag that has a good story to it.
For me its the one below. In 2009 Sol de Lune, Mrs Sol de Lune and I planned a trip to Hawaii for a holiday with a bit of caching thrown in. After we booked our flights and our Waikiki Hotel, we noticed that a Geocaching Event had been published on Waikiki Beach just down the road from our hotel. We put our Will Attends in and showed up. The event was for a lovely couple renewing their wedding vows on their 25th Wedding Anniversary, and they minted a special path tag to commemorate the event. How cool was that. We had a great time, and all the locals enjoys meeting the 'Aussies' that showed up. GC1H1YQ Celebrating 25th Wedding Anniversary by ganurse (they were both Nurses) if you are interested in looking it up.
Logs
https://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Locationless_cache
Armchair style Locationless caches where the finder is not required to explore the real world, identify a location and accompany the "Find" with photographic evidence are no longer accepted.
A Locationless cache listing must require the finder to locate an object or perform a task in the real world, collect the co-ordinates and log the find with accompanying photographic evidence.
The geocaching community would like to thank you for listing this Locationess geocache and congratulations to all that found this locationless geocache.
As the geocache no longer meets the requirements we will archive the cache listing.
If anyone in Australia wishes to trade for any of our tags we would be very happy to accept.
I traded my own pathtag for another pathtag from this cacher and when it arrived this one was in there too.
I had just been looking through the tags on pathtag.com and saw it but didnt add it to my wishlist as it had been all given out back in 2014 so thought there would be no chance. It was sent as my own tag is a Phoenix.

The stand was one that we won and is created by Zalgarieth.
The pathtag at the top right is our very first pathtag, by Urch, and was found in a cache while we were on a big lap trip in 2009.
The top left is our pathtag, the bottom right is Zalgarieths and the rest are all GCA pathtags, a couple that we purchased but mist we have been awarded for various games and activities.
Thanks for the cache fitzy_1965.
I even have a design but still to make.
I will one day.
This pathtag was one of the first I ever had Tag #14895.
nightcaching downunder.
I met the tag owner ° at an event one day.
I ahd been caching awhile mainly solo and did not really appreciate the opportunites caching offered.
° got me into nightcaching and I remember going on quite a few night trails around 10 years ago with a great core group of caches.
I've clocked up a few more now but always thankful to °.

This is another nice one to do as well.
This pathtag is my 1st 1,000 tag only just received during lockdown.
I only had about 600 GCA finds before lockdown, and reached 1,000 quickly with all the puzzles.
And I'll probably reach 2,000 before the end of July the way it is going.
Thanks for the brain exercise and the cache,
Roostaman.
However as that has been told, I'll go to one of my first pathtag finds from a cacher known as Fore! The attached photo is a sample of her tags and the play on words with the word Fore! In this selection we have the Fore! cent piece, the Forty cent piece and the Fore! dollar coin. Anyone who knows Fore!'s cache will know the play on words she always has. All good fun...and the pathtags are great.
Thanks for the chance to look back through the collection fitzy_1965....
"One of our targets for this trip was to look for three of the older caches in Australia in an attempt to fill another three cells in our Month/Year Hidden grid. Yesterday we met the requirements for Lane Cove and today we went to look for "GCF1 Frying Pan" and "GC17C Aero-Vale". It was a somewhat interesting drive towards GZ with the first part of the road sealed and the remainder gravelled of varying quality. The initial surprise when we arrived were the number of campers in temporary residence. After finding a suitable park, we looked at the task of crossing the creek. After trying to keep feet dry, we threw caution to the wind and plodded our way through the shallows to get to the other side. GPS recption was very patchy with marked variations to GZ even as we stood in the one spot. After making ourselves familiar with the area we took a very close look at the spoiler photo and tried to match it to the surroundings, taking in account that things have probably changed since the photo was published. Finally we found a location and a perspective and began to search. After a further five minutes, prodding resulted in a different sound. Eureka!! We had found the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. After signing the log, we replaced the camouflage and headed back to the creek, highly elated with our success. We got back to our car just on the hour after setting out. As we changed footwear we discovered three hitchhikers - those leeches were quickly removed and dispatched. Thanks davew for maintaining one of the iconic caches in Australian Geocaching history - we really appreciate your efforts. We also wondered why so few people have visited this cache given the time since it was published. It is one of the great caching experiences which we would recommend most highly to all. This caching experience certainly earns a favourite from us"
What we omitted from our log was that we found a pathtag in the cache placed by Aussie Liahona on 14 April 2014. We don't normally log pathtags straight away (preferring to batch log them at a later date) but finding this pathtag was special because we had been in contact with Aussie Liahona early in our caching history, had kept a loose contact over the years and had noticed that they she visited Frying Pan just three weeks before we arrived. Finding the cache was very special and finding the pathtag in a special cache just made the experience even better. A copy of the pathtag image has been added to the Gallery.
Thanks fitzy_1965 for a great refelective cache.
You were not getting the Pathtag until the ageing bushfire fell off the plank and I hope that will be a few years down the track but we don't know when that will happen.
At this stage there is only one in the geocaching community which I presented to the lucky cacher who attended an event that I ran.
Every year a group of Geelong cachers run a Christmas Event on the second Saturday in December and this year which was the seventh annual lunch BBQ which was held in Queenscliff we had close to sixty teams attend so these guys have been added to the list.
So all the pathtags have been placed into envelopes ready for the final event (Bushfire falls off the plank) and then will be given to the cachers that have attended the two events and a few others that have requested one. I will post the overseas tags as I have their address's which are ready to go, need some stamps.
OH I forgot the St Arnaud Caravan park has one as I started them off on collecting pathtags after a visit a few years ago and then the last Victorian Mega was held in that great location which has the greatest collection of geocaches that I have had the pleasure of finding over the last fifteen years.
I will place the images which relate to this cache. Thanks FITZY_1965 for the cache.
Every time you gain 1000 finds in GCA finds, you are given a path tag to celebrate
So having found over 5000 GCA finds, I have five of these
In Tasmania, that's a big journey and a lot of time
So, I'm happy and proud every time I'm rewarded with this Path Tag
TFTC and cheers
