Description
a trig point that has had its day, looking south east to Pt Wakefield
This cache is an easy find on the top of York Penninsula. you have a great view over the mangrove area of Port Wakefield and the coastline south.I thought it great as this trig has had its day and needs some occational company.

second time here got a cache nearby sometime ago staying at pt Clinton for a few nights
Found It!
Not sure why I didn't find this cache years ago but I only saw that it existed a couple months ago. Today I was going past so I detoured off the highway and stopped for a quick find! Looks like that trig point has seen better days...

I almost didn't look for a cache, as I thought this was a trig at first. But then I saw it was a GA and then soon found the cache. I emptied water out of the container. The log is sort of okay. TFTC Tk2.

Cheers

We were on our way to the first of a short list of caches on the top of the YP when we passed this. This stop wasn't planned but a smiley's a smiley
It ws easier than we first thought to get to GZ. In fact, we were able to park the car right next to GZ after travelling over reasonable gravel road. The required photo has been added to the Gallery.
Found Fiveways Trig during a trip to Wool Bay on Yorke Peninsula for a few days. It's the first trig point I've come across which is made from timber, although the disk is missing. It's an easy drive-by near an intersection on some dusty, bumpy backroads.
On a mission to find 300 caches in 3 days on Yorke Peninsula
The circles are missing but the tower is still there - a real driveby

Found Trig Point and cache. A bit disappointed that the survey mark was not to be found however we only had a hasty look due to the water falling from the sky.
I've stopped by here about a year ago to inspect this structure, of which there are also a couple of others not far away. We assumed this was a regular trig point cache and didn't realise we had to also find a container as well. Oh well, the attached photo will have to do.

Found while out chasing the 10th Anniversary cache's. Found the cache as well but had been damaged and squashed so fixed it up as best I could.
Found this Trig point on our day out caching for the 10th Anniversary of caching in Australia...
Also found the bonus 'cache' while we were there...
Thanks Tk2 for the cache

I found this (at the time) unpublished cache when I spied a very unloved, sad looking trig point on my way to another nearby cache. The trig was not in my GPS and had its circular disk missing but the typical three legs were sticking up, making it look a bit like a half built gallows. After completing the other cache I came back to investigate and thought I would just log it under the new trig rules. As I went over to see if I could find a survey marker (yes) I noticed a camo eclipse tin lying out in the open. Picked it up and sure enough a blank log book inside with the cache owner's name and the name of the cache. Signed the log, rehid it in what I thought was the logical place and notified the owner once I was back home. Pleased to see it has now been published so I can claim the find!
