Many thanks Green Gecko Gang for placing this cache.

TFTC Green Gecko Gang i am over from Perth to my home town Gawler for a funeral at Freeling. So i thought i would get out and find some caches. I used to do orienteering here at Mack Creek before i moved over West and it was great to coime back and wander through this bush again. I parked up near one of the gates on the opposite side of the road and had a 300 m walk down past the the little dam which was full. I soon found your cache tucked away and signed the log and grabbed a blue patch. This will be in the mail soon. Thanks for bringing me back to this great area. ClappingClapping

Found It!
A nice little walk down to this one and a quick find once at GZ. Given that my sewing skills (or pretty much any of my artistic skills) are non-existent, I didn't take a patch - I'll leave that to those that know what they're doing! Nice park and a great spot for a cache though!

Being a GCA cache, we've had this one on our to-do list since it was first published. It's taken us a long time to get out this way and make the find, but finally we did it.

It was an enjoyable walk down to the cache on an unusually cool day for this time of year. The cache was found straight away despite being quite well hidden, I just happened to catch a glimpse of Sistema straight away. The contents are in excellent condition, although it looks like a bit of condensation may have crept in at some stage, as some of the patches look a little tie-died!

I grabbed a blue patch, but in hindsight, I should have taken a red one. Red seems to be the least popular colour and yellow seems to be peoples favourite. I'm sure we'll be able to add a couple of cows to the patch at some stage, and return it before too long.

Great cache, great walk.

Thanks Green Gecko Gang.

A pleasant walk through light bush in the early part of the day makes for a goo start. Once near GZ, a quick find was made. We took a green patch for the quilt. TFTC

Hopefully now it's 2011 I'm not too late for this. Confused
Bribed Ingrid with some great mailboxes for her to photograph around Humbug Scrub, then a nice pleasant walk. Wink
We enjoyed the walk. Strangely good weather for walking considering it's January. Clapping
Took a bit of time to locate the cache as it was well tucked away and I had a 'daddy look'. After a bit of frustration and saying "This is the obvious place to have the cache," I looked a bit harder and there it was. Embarassed
Took YELLOW patch. Cool
Also took a couple of travel bugs - I think they're geocaching.com TB so won't get found here. Question
TFTC Enjoyed the walk in and out, and will have fun decorating. Dancing

Have been planning a visit here for a while. at last we made it and took a blue patch. Now the planning commences. A bit of a hot day for a stroll, especially as we have just started using a new gps which we really haven't got the hang of. Removed one of the tbs in the cache to travel on. 2 remain.

Went here again today to get the 4 quilt bits for the auction tommorrow as discussed. We took one of each colour, thankyou so much.

Saw a little group of kangaroos here today, bigger and wider than any we have ever seen.

I have wanted to grab this one for a little while. Took a yellow patch as it seemed fitting with the surrounding colours in bloom Smile

After finding the original geoquilt cache, I headed straight to this one!

The emus started along the track ahead of us on this goereous day, crisp with heaps of bright gold hibertias everywhere. Found the cache with no problems.

I took a blue patch and strike-a-light took a red one. Thanks Green Gecko Gang for the opportunity to be part of this Dancing

After a good morning locating caches in the National Park opposite we set out for this one.

Found it after a short stroll along an easy track. It was much easier than the 4.5 star for terrain I just completed in the rain!

We took a green patch and will have lots of fun with our design.

Though we should log our own cache so we get to do a patch on it! Took a green one, just as the sun was setting with a blood red sky. Dropped off a TB but not sure how to log that on here. Whoever takes it email us to hand it over to you.

Team Wibble claim the title of first patch to be finished. I am mightily impressed with their skilled efforts with the little green guy with even stitches aroud him, and their pathtag. They have left space around the edges for sewing, just as I asked. An exemplary example of a geoquilt patch. Well done guys! Check out the gallery!

Being lucky enough to participate in the last quilt we HAD to participate in this quilt too. The problem was getting out to the cache site, particularly with illness causing a few issues for us at the moment. Luckily, though, today Mr Wibble got to supervise some uni students doing fieldwork in Para Wirra and managed to nab this cache. We took a yellow patch. We'll put a little more effort into our design than our last attempt (I wonder if we still have some of that printable transfer iron on paper stuff...) and maybe we'll stitch on one (only one) pathtag.
The patch will be in the mail soon.

It was mizzling when we arrived at the carpark after celebrating Green Gecko Gang 4's tenth birthday in nearby One Tree Hill, so we took the brolly as we set off for our walk to the GZ. It was a pleasant walk through the bush, and although the path was scoured and slippery from recent heavy rain, the cache remained dry in it's excellent hide. Mizzle had turned to drizzle as we logged our find, took a yellow square, and headed back to the Disco using the brolly to keep us dry.
Thanks Green Gecko Gang, we look forward to seeing another great quilt in the future, and are glad we will be part of it.

We really enjoyed the short walk to this one, and have decided we would like to bring the kids and camp in the hut one day. We took a blue square, so now to see what we can do with it!

22-May-10
Had a pleasant walk from the carpark, past the camp "hut" (pretty luxurious looking camp spot!). Grabbed a green square, now to work out what to put on it!

Thanks to Green Gecko Gang for the opportunity to participate in a geoquilt! I've seen the first one at a couple of events, and it looks stunning Smile.

Whoo Hoo, our first FTF of a GCA cache.

A pleasant drive out there and short stroll out to GZ just on dusk. Was hoping to see some of the local wildlife (in the park, not on the road - we have had an emu run into the side of our car on this road before)but all hiding today.

One yellow patch taken.
