Over in South Australia with Just a cacher for Christmas duties with the in-laws and we decided to head out and grab a cache or two while we were here.
A quick find here today as we passed by.
Thanks for the cache redwombat

I was a little worried when I saw the path was closed but no need to be concerned as it was before the closed off area. TFTC
Enjoyed this Bowie song, when it came out 1976.
TFTC!
My final day in Adelaide, travelled from Perth WA to visit family here, and grab as many caches as can squeeze in. Spoilt by such lovely weather and friendly locals.
During this trip achieved 4x FTF's (GA), picked up a dozen moveables; plus the highlight being my D/T grid (GC) now filled after finding one up a tree.
Huge THANK YOU to local cachers: J&J, Laighside Legends, andrewbt, Atreyu1982, Blackadders, OzGrumpy, weredunn4 & Jacknor whom all contributed towards my success.
What an adventure, visiting: Adelaide CBD, Showground, Glenelg & Seacliff Holdfast Bay, McLaren Vale, Onkaparinga, Hawthorndene, Carrick Hill, Kensington Park, Teringie, Prospect, Elizabeth, Port Adelaide, Garden Island, Gawler, Nuriootpa Barrossa; and an impressive collection of planes at Greenock Aviation Museum!

Staying in Adelaide for a week we have been focusing on finding some GCA caches and this was one of them. Have driven around the outskirts of Adelaide on previous visits to SA so nice to stop this time and let geocaching be our guide. Easy find once at GZ, cache and contents are in good condition. Thanks Redwombat for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Returned to avenge this old DNF from several years ago. No such problems today. I think it's far more likely that your cache is just being muggled, rather than deliberately stolen (as your note suggests), as there has been construction at GZ recently, and in addition, the area is being used as a dumping ground by locals. When the council cleans up, they are most likely assuming your cache is junk. TFTC redwombat!
woohoo 2 from 2 today and amother suprr quick find thanks for the cache red wombat
Third time lucky for us. The cache was found within a minute.
Referring to GC listings as Disneyland caches sure put a smile on our faces, we'll have to remember that line.
What makes you think it's cachers removing the container? This seems to be a high traffic area, so it could be anyone accidentally finding it.
Thanks redwombat.

Cache replaced yet again. Please stop removing it, yes its within 160 metres of 2 Disneyland (listed on an American website) Caches but it pre-dates both of them. Thankyou.
red wombat this the third cache of your i have been to and it is the third dnf as there is no cache to be seen anywhere. very very disappointing
More than three years since our previous DNF, and once again we came up empty handed. The area sure is different from our last visit, and I had to jump the fence to have a proper search.

Sam found it first... We were FAFing around the river and Sam found it in the big tree. . I was a bit worried that it was gone in the construction site. You might have to move a few fences.... Watch out for spiders. Its really small too. our 3rd find

A quick find at the end of the day after Mrs y'stassie hopped over the security fencing and made her way to GZ. There were no keep out signs so we were not sure whether access was allowed or not. Cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache redwombat.
Despite searching the area around GZ for a radius of 15m (including inside the fenced off area, we were not successful in finding this cache. It would be good if this cache could be checked given the recent history.
Found by caughtatwork.
A quick find. Well not so quick really, the cache was really well concealed and it took quite a few trips around the tree to find the hiding place. Then a bit of a scrape and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks Red Wombat for this cache here today. Always nice to find a Geocaching Australia cache so far from home.

Spent some time looking around the tree but came up empty handed. I spotted a round cork sticking out of the trunk and immediately thought of Double Distraction http://coord.info/GCNZZF but it seems the cork was not not concealing a cache.

A quick grab, then had to wait while muggle smokers hung around the nearby business doors. While waiting spied a large frog just where i grabbed the cache from.signed the fresh log..TFTC
I must have been within 5 m of this the other day, but it wasn't loaded in the GPSr. Only discovered it because of a log in a nearby GC cache. Bother.
Arghhh... spent about 10 mins trying to extract this cache, but couldn't get it out...
Only just found the log, in the nook...Tweezers may be required. Needs some TLC.

Found today after wandering for a bit. Surprised they have closed off the nearby walkway. Found it on the ground, so slotted it back into a nook in the tree.

Found during an early morning caching raid in the area. Thanks for the cache Red Wombat!
I just discovered a note in GSAK now (9/11/13) indicating that I'd found this one with my then 7-year-old nephew.
It was a drizzly day by the river, but that did not stop the regulars in their fluro shirts from standing around GZ eating and smoking .. This is the second time I have walked here to have to keep walking as I would have had to crawl through a muggles legs to get to it!
I wandered up the river a bit further and luckily on they way back the coast was clear and I was able to make the find in it's neat hiding hole. Thanks for brightening an otherwise yuck day!

At first I thought the cache must be missing again, as the description indicated I was looking for a regular container, and there didn't seem to be anywhere it would fit. However, a bit of a dig around turned up a small container, and the day was saved .

Wandered up to the fence and made sure I was out of sight from workers in the warehouse. Turned around and there it was in plain sight. I bit too easy. SL and covered better.

Found on a walk with my Mum and her dog. It was a lovely day for a walk, so we walked down to Holbrooks Road on one side and back again on the other side of the Torrens. Thank you for this cache. I appreciated a reason for the walk.
Off the mark with my first cache.
Signed the log...left a fox whistle.

What a lovelly little spot and a neat GZ. I wonder if they'll ever be able to extend the linear track along the river here. At least the short distance of road travel is pretty quiet.
Had to be there, but once we started looking we had to do 355 degrees until the right spot was found in the torchlight.
Cal ended up grabbing a lizard and leaving a dinosaur and stamp.
