the tree has had significant pruning done and the cache has gone with most of the tree.

16-Oct-16
I did not find this cache in any of the possible spots, we even cleared with sticks, hopefully the soldiers haven't been captured! NeutralNeutral

We DNF'd this cace back in October 2012, yet today we found the cache immediately and wondered how we'd missed it! Found during a nice cool walk along the Torrens.

Thanks REDWOMBAT.

Very Happy Awesome. This was our first cache. Pretty easy. Ben found it first big box and 3 soldiers on guard. Looks like the red army is fairly depleted in the middle of winter.

01-Mar-15
Nice hide and a nice mini waterfall by the Torrens

12-Jan-15

Despite accurate coordinates and the hint, it took a couple of minutes to locate this cache because the large amount of leaf litter in the area had covered the cache container to some depth. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.

21-May-14
Found in the early evening, in between cycling, running and walking muggles making their way home. Expected a long search since it had been seven months since the last visitor, but with the hint and good coords the cache was in hand quickly. TFTC redwombat!

I found this cache with caughtatwork today.

17-Nov-13
Found by caughtatwork.
A quick find. A few people walking up and down the track today, but they were far enough apart for me to dive in a grab this cache. Good co-ordinates meant that the cache was a nice simple find.
Thanks General Zukhov for this cache here today. Always nice to find a Geocaching Australia cache so far from home. Quite a nice size too.

Spent quite a while looking for this one. Found what we thought the hint mentions, but didn't find the cache. Resorted to poking the leaf litter with sticks in the hope of hitting the container, but still came up empty handed.

24-Mar-12
Took a while but soon had the soldiers on parade. TFTC.

15-Jan-12
Went for a very enjoyable bike ride with ncnote21 from Adelaide to West Beach and back again on a warm summers day. Mr Tardis has been planning to clean up many of the caches along the torrens for some time and today was the day. SL. TFTC.

Well I'm on my way to Adelaide today for a study tour of water harvesting in SA and I thought I might grab a few caches on my way to the airport. Once in Adelside I headed out to grab some more. This one I will log tonight as it's a GA cache. At GZ I found it but realised I'd lost my pen. I had to run back to the car to grab it. Thanks for this nice little hide and my tenth SA cache.

A nice easy find in a quiet little area. thanks for the cache

27-Mar-11
After a bit of a hunt around the area, I spotted a member of the red guard out on foot patrol. Well actually he was lying prone on the ground and half covered in leaves, so maybe he was lying in wait to ambush the next finder. Regardless, I quickly spotted the fortress and threw him back in with his comrades.

TNLN - Thanks General Zhukov!

An easy find while out for a lunchtime walk from work. There were a couple of muggle council workers parked on the cycle track - I'm not sure what they were doing, it looks like this was their favourite place to come and eat lunch! Luckily they were just in the right spot for me to be out of view during the find!

The cache was a little exposed, making for an easy find with the hint. I did not even need to get the real GPSr out - the iPhone put me close enough to spot GZ. I left the soldiers to fight another day, signed the log and tried to ruck the container back in a little further so that one of those muggle lunch munchers did not find it!

Thanks for a nice quiet spot and the hide!

22-Dec-10

Narrowed it down to close proximity and was just checking all was clear then it caught my eye.
Signed while watching a steady stream.

Should've had the night vision goggles on as they were too well camouflaged the other night to spot, and they had a cunning decoy to lead me astray. However, amidst a rainy morning they were spotted and I had quickly stormed their fortress to add my name into their log book. Took a snap of the raging "Neva" flowing close by.
TNLN, TFTC General Zhukov

Cheers Cool

Checked cache all OK.

14-Aug-10
I was only getting a poor reading from the GPSr at 10:30pm, but was been taken to the same General spot. The clue fitted but alas the barracks were bare. Perhaps it's been muggled as it was certainly a typical spot for a cache Question

05-Aug-10

Today was GCA Day so went out to grab a few GCA caches.

Quick find but not sure how long before it is muggled. Threw some camo matter over the top of it.
