Description
This cache has been laid out in celebration of 10 years of gecaching in Australia. My kids and I love challenging finds, so that is exactly what we have set down for the rest of you, so you could say it's definitely not your ordinary drive by cache, but much more like a wee challenge. You do need to go into the sinkhole for this one, but you don't need to disturb anything to get the cache, just reach out and grab it, if you dare. There is a parking area at the location so you needn’t park on the main road. Bring some warm clothes and your thermos as, depending on what you’re doing, it can get very very cold in the South East, and you may just need a nice warm cup of tea after collecting this cache.
Beware, the surrounding area can be very slippery, especially when either you or it is wet, and please keep a very close eye on any geokids.
Enjoy!!!

Logs
Mr sylken paddled in the crystal clear water and soon found the cache which he bought to the edge of the pool for all to sign.
A delightful spot.
Many thanks for encouraging us to get this one The Wackys
Funnily enough, I was kitting up for a scuba dive here at Fossil Cave, and had place a geocache myself for others to find since there was no current cache available here to be found. As I was waiting on the surface waiting for my friend to finish kitting up, I eyed this container in the side of the wall, and wondered why it had been placed for others to disturb the water. I thought it may have been an archived cache, and so retrieved it to give to my friend. We inspected the contents to find it had geocaching.com on it, and only a few logs ever in it.
I came home with it to do some more research on it, to discover it was actually a Geocaching Australia cache that was still active! Eeep. Consequently, this cache will need to be disabled for now until I find time to do another scuba dive caving weekend to place this cache back. Sorry about that.
But having investigated other logs, I know how to prepare for my next attempt!
Many thanks for placing the cache The Wackys. It's a beauty.
This one has been on our list of wanted to do for a long time. It is good to finally cross it off.
Can't believe this place is not signposted from the road. We only came here before because of the other cache. Obviously they don't want people to know about it.
The cache was still in very good condition but then I guess it is well protected from the elements.
Thanks for a wonderful experience and a cache we will never forget.
I first visited this one when it was only a week or 2 old and then again at a later date.
Today was warm so i was prepared to get wet and was rewarded with a FTF.
Surprisingly the log hadn't been signed by muggle divers after 4 years of living in this cave.
Contents are all still in reasonable condition (photo attached) and the geocoin owner will be happy to have it released.
This one's going onto my favourites list.
Thanks to The Wackys for the challenge
After reading...and re reading the hints/clues....we had it "logged"
So...! armed with towel..thermos..gps..swaps..camera (had to record our find) and mindful of the bees.! ...it was gonna be a "good day"
WELL..! we enjoy a challenge.....BUT...! had to "toss in the towel"
It is with great disappointment we are logging a DNF instead of our FTF
Sitting in the car enjoying our thermos....pondering over "what went wrong"?????? we were left wondering....? should we have brought a "wet suit" ?????
Well done..!! Wackys.. i think...! this certainly is a "wee" challenge
