Logs
What a wonderful family. It didn't take long to have my hands on the log which is in pretty good condition considering its age. Just a little damp along one side which resulted in my pen going through the paper at first but soon all was OK. Thanks for this cache M_Family.

Oh this guy is adorable!! Stopped in for a visit on our way for a walk on the neighboring ridge. Took a little hunting but we soon had him spotted and the cache log signed. I hope we didn't disturb anyone. Thanks for the cache!

Heave-Ho was quickly spotted by Nibletricecakes. It did feel a little odd being in the front yard. Log was quickly signed and we were on our way. TFT Gnome.

Found this cache on the way to, at or on the way home from the Mega at Clearwaters. My trip to the Mega was great, found lab caches which while like gadgets are new icons to me. Found some great caches and brought back some neat ideas for new caches in Tasmania.

My very first traditional GA cache!
I have found a couple of moveables, and trigs before but never a traditional cache.
I usually stick to the GC caches but was in the mood to come have a look for a GA cache and this one looked like fun.
I parked opposite your house and followed my GPS. Nervously stood on the driveway for a minute making sure I had the right house before going in.
Ahhh there it is! Hiding around the corner!
Wow that thing is SOOOO heavy. Wasn't expecting that!
Thanks for the cache M_Family!

GeoGlors, Joolay and I decided as we were early we would grab this cache, our 2nd for the day, on our way to meet up with Kitty Katch, CBRchic and Isopeda to Lyneham Ridge to get the CPU puzzle finals. GeoGlors pulled over and we read the hint and a couple of logs and out we got, over to where gps was taking us had a bit of a look and couldn't see anything like the decription read logs again and walked over the road and nope too far awau so back we went to our last spot. Looking around again when Joolay spotted the colour and GeoGlors too, so off in further, and there he was and Joolay got the log and signed it. Then a car pulled up and we all turned looking at each other and it was the owner, pleased to see us there and we had a chat. Great to meet you Mrs M thanks for hiding the cache and maintaining it keeping him home A favourite point from me M_Family.

We were on O'Connor Ridge looking for some caches when we noticed this cache nearby. On the way out of the area Mr y'stassie called in, met the CO and was taken to the cache. It was good to meet a member of the M_Family. Thanks for the cache.
I was across the road today getting a GC, lucky I checked my ph before I left to find a GA near by, so I made a call to find out about it as it was in a yard!! I got the ok to go in and look it' was ment to be there ....
Once I found him I found a red back as well, so I got rid of it and grab the log and the returned the hide back.

like most, I was a bit hesitant, but previous logs assured me that it was ok! so I quietly walked in, spotted a familiar cache and logged on a fresh log book. TFTC - its a nice cache in a nice garden!
My GPS led me to the border between 65 & 67, and as I didn't know which side to go, I didn't attempt it.

Found 8:45pm. I went to look for this GCA after failing on another mobile one earlier and a successful GC find a little later. I approached GZ after parking nearby but I was uncertain as to entering the property was correct. So a PAF confirmed I needed to go in. I looked and at GZ there was a likely suspect location so on closer inspection found what I was looking for. Opening the container I discovered the log was stuffed so tightly inside I couldn't remove it without a tool. I returned to the geovehicle grabbed my kit and tried tweezers only to find small pieces of log came off. At this point I decided to say good evening to the M_family and explain the delimma before trying my next tool.
Mr M saw the problem immediately and using my other tool extracted the log to discover a pretty full log.
The cache is now likely to get a new log.
Thanks for the cache.

#GA375 - 18:30; After an entertaining morning at the 2014 Canberra Cache of the Year Awards Event, I joined a posse of intrepid cachers in Sol de lune, fitzy_1965 and half of team lokipagan for a trip to Corin in search of a new trig. After a successful mission, I headed off home solo and decided to grab a couple more on the way. I was on a bit of a roll with 12 GCA finds in the bag for today, so I decided to grab two of my closest to home's as I made my way back there. Parked the geomobile and called on M_Family to see if Heave-Ho was available for visitors, although I thought I'd spotted him on the way in and so already knew the answer. I had a nice chat with a couple of the CO's about things caching, after which I duly logged the cache. TFTC M_Family and nice to meet you. hope to see you out on the trail again soon

222. I've done a few home garaged caches previously but this one was different again. Strange to wander around a strange garden peering under bushes and the like. Eventually wasn't (or was I?) lead down (or up?) the garden path and found this cache. On the way out found another one. Careful, they're multiplying.

I think the intent was for him to be a non-movable yard gnome but still logable.
Is this one still in play? It's showing as active but Back Bunny states that he handed it to the owner.
Black Bunny, Mr_Roo and I went on a road trip to rescue some poor, imprisoned gnomes from Lithgow. To make the trip a bit more consistently busy, we found a few other caches on the way (and on the way home, too!).
This was our first rescue, and he was a bit heavy, so it wasn't long before we were regretting our generosity. We will see about returning him to his home soon.

2 Canberra gnomes kidnapped by the GGG (GNOME-MARE!!! & Mr Bump), with the aide of of a forward observer stationed at Oberon (Heave-Ho) formed the Gnome Liberation Front, and convinced a cadre of gnomes currently resident in the Blue Mountains environment, that their services were required in the ACT.
This led to a call being placed by the GLF for a mass extraction of the gnomes and various pickup points were organized. The gnomes had a long march from their various Lithgow detention points and a few gnomes were left in the region to gather intelligence in case of a need for future pickups.
Look for these gnomes to start appearing in Federal relief agencies as experts on the Flood recovery and CRPS programs.

This was a rather funny find...........
The security vehicle drove past as I pulled up and got "The look" as the mobile phone went to the ear.........He seemed happy and kept going.
Then noticed that the special school next door was out having lunch ........ Off into the trees I went.
Found him quickly and after brushing him down headed back to the car.
Wonder what they thought as I emerged from behind the trees carrying a great big Gnome cause the looks on the kids and teacher face's were funny enough.
Now to take him on a little trip.

Bed is quite comfy. Rock in front of Heave-Ho's face to prevent car lights waking him!
A nice quick find with geograndson in tow who LOVES finding treasures (caches)!
Found Heave-Ho and took a great photo.
Traveled around with him a bit today and now he is so tired he has pulled up by a farm fence, pulled some grass over himself and is having a sleep being unable to travel any further tonight.
If he is not given a lift before hand, he is hitch-hiking into Bathurst town at 8.50am tomorrow morning!

Whew!
I was worried that the GeoBuru was going to be able to make it up and down over some the steeper parts of the Great Western Highway.
Pulled over in Bullaburra and managed to wrestle him out of the vehicle.
The place I'd spotted (not far from the Bullaburra sign) looked better from the road then it did up close. Too much rubbish! But I couldn't even consider hoisting 'Heave-ho' back into the back seat, so made the best of this roadside spot.
Please stop and take him away to a better place!

I could only move Heave-Ho a short distance from where I picked him up, that is one heavy dude, He is now in Westgate park in Leura. This is a special lure for pjmpjm, let's see if he takes the bait!
Well after a few emails, it looks like the mix up is now fixed so I can log this monster a picked up, even if it was not quite where it should have been.

Regarding 'Heave-ho' and 'Gnoming Along' -- are we dealing with a case of gnome identity theft here?
Personally -- after I don't know how many gnomes logged, some more than once -- my vision is starting to blur and all gnomes are beginning to look alike! I may even be hallucinating. I hope I can survive 'the race' until January 31st.

At this stage this is only a note, as I found 'Heave Ho' roughly where 'Gnoming Along' should have been. Well a good 10 metres away right on the the side of the road in the open!
Will check with the last finder to see what happened.

How did I end up with this brute. He is a heavy boy. Sitting in the garden with the murraya for the next day or two while I find somewhere to hide him.

Heave-Ho had a very important job tonight. After the first pub we were at failed to open their bistro we had to shift across the road... Heave-Ho was left behind with a note telling late comers where we had gone. He has found a natuaral calling as a Sign Post and Bouncer I think! After a few hours he rejoined the party with 14 or so Gnome Friends... where he was promptly beaten up by Gneddy Gnome

Heave-Ho had to go across the road when the bistro at the first spot was closed.
I met Heave-Ho at the pub and got a bit of a workout taking him to a table to meet everyone!
I barely managed to get Heave-ho out of the car and into the 'Zalgariath's Off to Europe' geocaching party on Parramatta Road in Flemington. I can only hope that some else with a strong back gnabbed him and will move him along!
Aha! Just where I suspected that he would be . . . in an area I know fairly well . . .
Thanks for the care-taking of this guy, Alf.
Boy, I almost had to go and get help to lift him into the GeoBuru!
Will have to carefully consider where I put him down again. He may be hard to re-position . . .

After hanging in the car and in the house Heave-Ho got the old HEAVE HO and I kicked him out! Too heavy, too fat, and he couldn't even get too far from the house. Know someone who might pick him in the morning Bring a trailer. He's with Night Watchman Gnome
How nice of Yurt, knowing I NEEDED to come back to What's Cookin' Came back and it took 3 kids and a male to lift Heave-Ho. In the car he goes.

This mighty chap had a good chat with Graeme out at Dural before we left him under the privet right near WP1 for What's Cookin'? We know Alfyboy has to come back so he'll be grabbing him!
Went for a wander in a lovely bush park looking for this one. Up the track, down the track, the in-between track - this looks like an evil spot for a future hide! Almost gave up thinking he was gone as there were signs of recent activity here. Then as I hid the gnome we brought with us (Mr Bump) from Canberra and looked up and saw him. What a monster! Could barely lift him so I gave him to the kids. Probably got reduced mileage in the car on the way home!

We were in the neighbourhood for a Christmas party and this looked like a nice spot to spend the night!
Nearly got home with this guy, and then a suitable spot loomed in the high beam. Pulled over and "heave-ho" out of sight.
Spent some time hunting around where my GPSr was telling me to go, and eventually gave up. Walking back down to the car, I was looking around a lot more than when I walked up, and there he was in plain sight leaning against a tree. He could do with an exercise program (or, perhaps, he IS an exercise program)!

A southerly journey to help rack up the kilometres. As I had to drop off some pathtags to someone nearby I thought it would be nice to dorp off a gnome or two or seven in the local area.
Found in the rain. The call had gone out from the lost outpost that conditions had deteriorated and a rescue party was needed. The troupes were marshaled and set out to find the lost outpost. On a rainy gnight gnorkmeister decided to go for a walk with a backpack full of gnomes. Man this was hard work going up the first slope carrying 7 gnomes. I carried this one right to the top.
I can't say I worked hard for this one. After Mr Roo and Jusojara had dropped by for a few moments (and a few gnomes), there he was, just sitting there on the front verandah. When I tried to pick him up, he didn't want to come with me, but I took a better grip and yanked, and he gave in.
