Description
Geinstein
This is for the Gegnome Project.
Meet Geinstein. If you find him, you willl meet him! He likes to hide under everything and loves to dig.
Operation: The Challenge is to find him, take him away, sign the log and re-hide him in a different location, taking note of the new co-ordinates. Sort of like hide and seek backwards.
Then you log the details in 2 simple steps:
First Step: Log your FIND with a 'Found' log - this will give you a smiley!
Second Step: Log the MOVE with a new 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates as well as something useful in the hint box. This will update the main co-ordinates and the hint for the cache listing.
There is a pen, log sheet and a silica gel pack. ( All are NOT for trade )
Remember to update coords and place hints!!!
Rules:
The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2010 AEST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2011 AEST.Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)There is no limit to the number of times you can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in betweenThere is no limit to the distance you can move the cacheMove the cache within 2 days.

Logs
Dropped off at the corner of two dirt roads, just off the Princes Highway/Port Wakefield Highway. Coming off the highway, corner on right on highway side of dirt road. Under bush, lying on back under leaves, near base of bush.
You have been sleeping under this gumtree for over six years. The result, with the build up of tree litter, was I had to dig you out. You appear faded, but your log is pristine still and I was able to sign it. Picked up; welcome aboard.

A review of this moveable has shown that the cache is still in location, just sitting there waiting to be found. So, if you're in the area, or simply passing through, why not stop and help it on its way again.....
Stopped off to visit this one while travelling to Casterton for lunch after an appointment in Mount Gambier this morning.
Nice easy find and cache in good condition, left at this location as still haven't relocated the last movable I picked up.
Thanks

A short detour on my way home brought me to this little fellow.
Thought it may have gone missing as I approached GZ as there was also 3 large shopping bags on the ground next to GZ. Turned out to be someone harvesting mushrooms in the forest.
Genstien was save and snug so I now have him and will move it along soon
Cheers & TFTH giotec

Geinstein was very happy with his scenic tour of the Adelaide hills today, but when he caught a glimpse of all these pine trees, he almost tried to bail out of the open car window!
We pulled up and let Geinstein run free, frolicking beneath the canopy of trees, until he found a safe little spot to bunker down for a while.

We found this well-travelled gnome today, lounging around in an inner suburban conservation park. We last visited this park back in 2006 for a cache find, and it looks like it hasn't changed all that much.
We bundled Geinstein into the back seat of the Navara and sped off with him.

Geinstein was ready to start its tour of South Australia so dropped off into the park at an early cacher meet up
When we were planning our mainland trip we noticed that there appeared to be ten GA moveable caches that we had not found hidden along the Murray River not far from the highway. They had to be added to our lists. We had hopec to collect them yesterday but time was not on our side. This meant that we had a little back tracking to do at the start of the day.
As we turned off the main road we were pleased to see that the track leading to the river was dry. We felt our 2WD, low clearance street car would be able to manage this. We were about a third of the way to the first group when the track deteriorated and we found ourselves stradling some deep ruts the result of 4WD in the wet. Slowly and carefully we made our way towards the hide. We were able to park within 25m of the hide.
Accurate coordinates led us to the well hidden swag which, to our surprise, was a supermarket bag that was well tied up. We had no time to check all the moveable so grabbed the lot and stashed the bag, moveables and all in the car. It was then a slow trip back to the junction and down the next track to the next gathering or what turned out to be an equably daunting trip to the next hide where we found another bag of caches. We then headed back to the junction with the third track and a third group of caches.
We saw some awesome camping spots by the river on our way in and out and were glad to make it out with out any damage to the car apart from a very thick layer of dust.
After a very full day we spent the evening sorting the moveables and now to log them. Geinstein was another moveable happy to be released from life in a shopping bag. We will take this one for a short trip before releasing him in time for the Ides of March.

Murray River Caching trip 2017. With Fitzy_1965 I headed West to the area between Moulamiein and Balranald for the weekend. Day 3. I saw these in the hands of Fitzy before they were put out on Monday morning along the river Murray.

Moved - but already picked up and heading south with another cacher.
This little guy popped into my house with Fitzy. Great to have a chance to discover him.
Moved to the Goulburn region for minniek to re-hide. The moveable is NOT at this location (glug glug glug...)
Found this little guy in the hands of fitzy. I really the love his character and so does one of my geokids. Fitzy better move this on soon before he goes 'missing'

Woohooo.. not a lot of Moveable activity this time of year, but a flurry today resulted in some newbies to this area. TFTC!
Not quite moving at the speed of light, but moving again anyway
#GA1833 - 18:00; Day one of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. We headed over to Coolamon then south through Jerilderie and Finley before heading west to Deniliquin and then on to Wanganella before heading back through Deni and on to Mathoura, Moama and then Echuca where the caching finished on dark. Grabbed a bite to eat on the way through Bendigo and on to Creswick, which will be home base for the week. We had now crossed the border collecting a few caches in Echuca before heading off for home base. Picked this little guy up for a move to the nation's capital later in the week. TFTC giotec

Dropped off (many, many months ago but I forgot to log it ) with a new log sheet and bag.
A Melbourne cacher visited recently and left behind a bag full of GCA moveables. This was one of them.
After some minor repairs I'll release it back into the wild, perhaps at a GC event in Heathcote.

A quick drop off on this windy and cold Saturday afternoon. Fare well traveler.
Spotted at the Pathtags, Geocoins, Moveable Caches, Travelbugs Swap Meet event (GA7283).
I was happy to add some GCA caches to the table and also left with a couple to move along.
It's always good to catch up with a Gnome I've never met before.

Wow that is a LOT of caches my BB brought home! I would have gone too but some of us had to go to work. Now my house is full of Gnomes, frogs, Bingos and Angels! I’m going to have to do something about this and start hiding them again before they take over our unit once and for all!
Operation: Dawn of War (Clan Phoenix Gnomeland Raid)
Cache Condition: Spooky and well made, the years havent ruined this Gnomes spirit... or what is left of it!
Operation Summary: Leaving Sydney at 4am to reach The Gnomelands by dawn I kicked off the 'The Great Mount Piddington Moveable Challenge' with a raid of freedom to release over 60 moveables from their mountain prison to freedom. 4.5 hours of morning caching saw a good few sack-fulls return with me to Sydney.
The caches have been moved to St Leonards for some TLC and a bath so don’t go looking for them there. They will be released shortly in various locations.

Found on a forage within the Gnomelands ... fearful of retribution from the Disenchanted Gnomes, taken in hand only for a photo op. Found a tad exposed to the elements, Gneinstein was in good order. TFTC

Geinstein has managed to escape from the depredations of the Federales and is still in place at home.
Found this one enroute to gNick and he is all safe, some more clambering around the bush to get some more movables
Came down from Canberra and found with SDL and Albida for some interesting locations and GCA hunting

Geinstein has joined with a group of disenchanted Gnomes in the occupation of this tract of land, the aim being to secede from Australia and create their own independent country.
However with Gnomes in charge this may turn into a dictatorship, it remains to see if emmigration is greater than immigration.

Geinstein has joined a mass exodus of moveables led by renegade Gnomes, who knows what they plan to do? They are all in hiding for now while hatching their nefarious plans. No point looking for any of them they are nowhere to be found until they are ready to reveal their ultimate goal.

Geinstein's come on a long trip and is now exploring the Blue Mountains
There are 3 gnomes and frogs here. They are together in a plastic bag between the 2 peppercorn trees, against the wall, just under some peppercorn litter. They are next to the lump of concrete.
Dropped off today but dont go looking as it has already been picked up.

I found this cache with caughtatwork today. We brought all the caches home and have logged them into our closest hiding place. caughtatwork has picked them all up already, so there is nothing there to find. It's been a while since this guy was found, so caughtatwork says he'll move them on shortly.
Visiting Pound Bend today to drop off geoson at a scouting event, so took the opportunity to drop off two (same place) frogs I've had way too long. Should be safe in this fairly isolated spot. The log was full so I added a replacement. Good luck Geinstein.
Our favourite geocaching park appears to have acquired a cluster of 9 GCA movable caches, all close together, so today, geodaughter and I set out to find them.
Geinstein's log is completely full, and pretty damp as well with blurry writing. I'll let it dry out (at home), and maybe find a replacement.
cachefinder97, I'll mail you the full log if you like, or an image of it if you like. Failing that, I'll stick it in the bottom of the tube out of the way.
Thanks cachefinder97. We'll move it on soon.

Funnily enough, this was in the O3 but didn't show on the screen when I was here last week . A reload of the GPX file remedied that and a return visit today on a much nicer morning than last week had me with Geinstein in hand quite quickly at 08:40.
The log is little damp and rather full so it might need to be changed shortly (I didn't have a spare one with me ).
Wattle Park is such a nice spot that I left him in situ and continued on my way.
TNLNSL. Thanks cachefinder97.

Sorry for the delay, I managed to get some time to get out to Wattle Park today for a quick hide of the moveable caches that have been lurking in my car boot since the weekend...
I grabbed it late this morning enroute to a visit a music store in Ringwood, the hint made short work of finding it (I couldn't see it but reached under and found it where I suspected it would be ) which was great as there were a few muggles out today and I wanted a quick grab and stash into my backpack. I'll move it along soon (perhaps even tomorrow)
The girls were having so much fun that they couldn't stop at just 4 finds, and insisted on going to hide them again as well! Oh well - ok... Smile Drove the car as far as they'd let me to a park that had good hiding potential where we rehid the entire lot....
Overall, a great way to fill in the arvo!

Child-minding a bunch of the cousins today at our place, so we decided to keep the three young girls amused with some caching - We've knocked off our locals but fortunately there was a nearby park filled with frogs and gnomes. Perfect! All took turns in using the GPSr and they were all found pretty swiftly with much laughter and excitement. Great stuff!
I found this frog on his own today, but left him in place. Thanks.

I wanted to try to entice someone to come grab these for one more move before the game ends so here they are. Come on down for a nice walk along the Koonung Creek and a nice easy find on 6 frogs and a gnome.
The odd gnome out for today and placed in the noisiest hide of the night close to the freeway. Thanks cachefinder97 for the gnome.

Down the beach with the family. No frogs around here so we'll grab a couple of gnomes for a trip back to Melbourne. TFTG.
Geinstein Took a car ride. Helped me find some frogs and is spending some time down on the coast.
Finally got him. We attempted to access from above yesterday.... very bad move. We drove to the bottom but still couldn't find it. Today. armed with the clue we found him about 15 metres from GZ. The students I had with me were very excited to finally find a gnome. Thanks.

Had a great time travelling around with Geinstein. Meet plenty of TB's from local and overseas and came to a number of caches. Moved to a nice peaceful spot where you can have a walk and let geo-dogs have a run too. When looking for his new hiding spot don't forget to "log" your find!
Like the container. Got 2 for the price of 1. Found a cache nearby. Will move and log new position soon.

230. Again it is shown that in the bush we will walk for miles for a cache but once in suburbia you always try to find the shortest distance. I suppose I could have jumped over Tealby's back fence to make it a might shorter.... Anyway good that she left it in her letterbox as it was a very quick find after work.
