On the move from Mareeba to Four Ways, we stopped here to have another look for this cache.
Searched a different spot this time and made the find.
Good to turn this DNF into a smilie.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 64. Croydon Day 1. I spent the day looking at the great historical areas around Croydon that I had not been able to walk to yesterday. I also revisited some spots for a more in depth look and a look at the film at the visitor centre, a great place to see about the region.
I had been out here yesterday, but did not have my GPS. Today I needed two trips, one on each side of watching the movie inside, to get myself looking at the right level. It has been very wet, but is dry at the moment, but the logbook is one sodden card.
Thanks for the cache Territory Dogs

Final cache find for the day and it certainly stretched me in all sorts of ways. I was really pleased to find this one in such an interesting area. There is so much to learn about here. TFTC TNLN SL

As we head to QLD from WA along the Savannah Way we are grabbing a few caches as we go to break up the long drive.
After spending a night at the fantastic Croydon Caravan Park we were on the next part of our journey but stopped for a cache first.
I noticed a container that looked like it had paper in it. Got down and dirty and grabbed it and it was the cache. Spent longer getting the grass seeds of me than we did finding the cache

Spending a couple of nights in historic Croydon. We thoroughly enjoyed touring all the lovely old buildings and learning of the towns fascinating mining history.
A quick easy find with no muggles around. The log books are quite damp but we were easily able to sign our names with the pencil included in the cache.
Many thanks for the hide Territory Dogs

Upon reading the description again now I realise that we probably could have limited the places we were looking for this. Thought we were looking for a nano. When it wasn't in the obvious place we spent a long time poking our fingers in places trying to feel for a nano. But the location was great and we enjoyed our wander around. The search area is only accessible though when the info centre is open. Thanks.
Have just realised that I am mixing up my dates a bit, hope that is OK. What a fantastic visitor's centre and the workers are the tops. Another photo for their newsletter. T FTF tag SL TFTC
