Description
Farewell Froggie is only our second GCA cache - what have we been doing all our lives?
So this summer we decided to hop on board and farewell a frog who has been residing in our garden.
This fella came to us several years ago as a thank you gift from our children's school, where we had been regular helpers in their vege garden, ensuring the plants got watered on weekends and the chooks got fed. He has lounged around in our garden for long enough - who says it's not easy being green? Now he's off to see Australia. I'm not sure how far he will get, considering he's fairly heavy... but away he goes!!!
Please treat him well, and move him far and often ! Remember to log a hint when you place him, to help future finders.
Don't forget a pencil for this one, and there is a pathtag for the first to find.
Logs
I'll be taking this to the springtime event tomorrow. Don't look for it now.
He will soon be on is way back to the big smoke for more adventures.
I wanted to get him out to Clwydd again, where all Leap Frogs should touch base.
Farewell again, Farewell!
My GPSr didn't seem to be very happy at first, so I checked various woody spots until the satellites straightened themselves out and I retrieved Farewell from a very likely place.
He's a nice full-sized froggie, isn't he?
Will possibly transfer him to Lithgow in the near future . . .
I said both hello and farewell to Farewell -- at the information Blackheath event in the Blue Mountains.
A good time was had by all . . .
Lots and lots of froggies . . .
Bon voyage, Farewell!
Many Frogs and Gnomes went to Canberra and who knows where from there, and many stayed to be relocated around the Sydney area very soon.
Thanks for the frog. We shall take him to the coast or mountains soon.
A pleasure to see you again Farwell Froggie.
Thanks for the frog Winglen
TFTC !!
Mrs SdL comes home, notices him sitting on the back table and says......Wow, he's cute, can we keep him. I just looked at her.
Anyway, I have him now.....and may relocate him tomorrow.
Thanks winglen.....looking good.
Now where to place? Where to place? Well the comps over so maybe....

A great time was had by all and it took over an hour to sort and sign all the caches who Blossom* made sure found a good safe home
Cheers, and see you in 6 months!

Glad to meet you, though parting will be such sweet sorrow . . .
No doubt I'll have to send you back to Sydney pretty soon.
Maybe rogerw3 can do the job for me . . .
Quickly nabbed by Baktrak who was busy logging the 56th DNF.
Where can I put him?
All the way there just to come back.
I an astound how this area has changed.
The hide is a good froggy spot.
Thanks for the froggie fun!
If approached tell them Matthew and Melissa, Morgan, Max and Monique say hi!

This rather large frog was sharing my pillow.
Sort of a Godfather scene for geocaching.
How did he get there?
Black bunny door delivered and mini-samWalker boy brought him inside.
Will drop him off tomorrow. A great Frog Winglen.
