Found It!
Moving to the east I see. Or at least you did all those years ago. I climbed into the bushes and soon found the cache.

I was in the area so decided to take a look for this cache. Pulled up on the side of the road not far from GZ. A quick find where I thought the cache might be. log book is wet but managed to make the signing legible. Returned as found. TFTC

What a surprise!!! It was exactly where I left it!!!

I fail to understand how just because no one looked for this cache, as there are very few GCA finders, that you felt the need to post a warning in the page. Very disappointed in the direction that GCA have taken their once great site. Your request made me more determined that it was the right decision to stop actively searching for GCA caches over the last period of time.

Unfortunately, this cache looks like maintenance maybe required.

To ensure future finders have an enjoyable experience in both finding the cache and visiting the area, a check on this cache is recommended.

If the cache still seems to require maintenance within 28 days, Geocaching Australia will archive the cache to stop it appearing on cachers lists / PQ's.

Moved to the actual centre of what? I had a good look based on GZ on my Magellan, but nothing. I'll have another go at it in the weeks to come. Under duress, I will be seeing the Radiators at a pub around the corner. SHUDDER!

23-Apr-15
Moved to a different GZ, closer to the actual Centre.

While I haven't looked for it, from the sound of the last few logs it sounds like it is probably definitely missing and needs a check by the CO, or alternatively archiving. A nice thing to do to mark the milestone though, my centroid is out somewhere in the middle of NSW and would be hard to get to, apart from almost certainly being on private property.

will try again

21-Dec-13
Needs a new container me thinks.

21-Dec-13
It is most probably gone as the armcor end has been replaced with a brand new fancy one.

Found today with pjmpjm on our Trig hunt.

We specially wanted to find this one to congratulate our friend TC on a job well done. As we got to GZ it was obvious that a vehicle had collided with ...GZ, and a couple of the supports had already been removed by the RTA I guess in preparation for the repairs to ...GZ. lets hope they do not find the cache or replace it if they do.

In any case I did love the cache guardian it was a hoot to see pjm jump a couple feet in the air like a scalded cat! Thanks for that, it was hilarious!

Thanks for the cache TC and keep up the good work.

Found together with rogerw3 while undertaking another of our trig hunting expeditions, this time to the north of Penrith.

We wanted to clean up this one especially to congratulate our friend TC on his ever-growing number of finds.

However, on approaching the appointed roadside spot we were somewhat alarmed to see that GZ had obviously been struck by some kind of vehicle, and that parts of the apparent hiding place were gone!

Fortunately, the cache proved to still be in place, although wedged deep into the damaged recesses of the . . . whatever . . .

And all was still dry and in good order. TNLNSL.

When RTA work is eventually done to repair this damage, the cache container might be found . . . And what will the workers think of it?

In any case, we were relieved to be able to log this GCA traditional and once again salute the TC family for all their energetic geocaching!

After all of the effort to find a parking spot & making a quick dash across traffic to GZ we were happy that this one was a very quick find.

Thanks Canary, after a couple of DNF's for me today, it was nice to make a find again Very Happy .

I hope there was no street camera with a traffic controller with a penchant for Benny Hill watching. Our antics on this bridge, sped up, would seem comedic.

I told Toriaz the cache was coming up on the right. Surprisingly she turned right. But then we drove past the cache and over the bridge. I began to ponder the possibility of long distance caching as the numbers steadily increased once more on the GPS. But we were in high spirits. This was not going to be a problem for us. We turned around at the scrap metal yard. But on approaching GZ once more we realised there was no place to park, so around the roundabout again we went, only to find no parking on the other side of the road, either. You think we would have noticed that the first time! So we drove across the increasingly familiar bridge and ended up at the scrap metal yard, once more. We quickly developed a plan to turn around again and try for a park at the opposite end of the bridge to the cache.

Well, we finally got to it, exhausted, the car low on petrol with buzzards patrolling the sky. It was a quick extraction and log sign before we once more considered our caching options. Naturally the next cache we wanted to do was in the opposite direction. We drove back over the bridge, turned the roundabout and recrossed the bridge for a final time with a fond wave. Thankyou my yellow friend. I feel very foolish. Very Happy

On my way up to the mountains for my 1000th GC, I decide to grab many GCA's as they don't count towards GC ones. Parked on the other side of the bridge and decided to walk under it as it didn't look wet and I couldn't find another spot to park. Oh, but it was wet! Had a big section in the middle that I couldn't cross, but did eventually by going around a little. Up to GZ, made the find fairly quick with cars wizzing past. Then took the top side of the bridge back to the car. Nice one TC.

First of the GCA found caches, with we having just over 700 finds we have a long way to go, hope to succeed 1 day. I just figured where my caching centre is & its near Woodford in the Blue Mountains. Interesting this is, was able to park very close to GZ, have a 4WD, in any case I hope you achieve another 1,000 caches, TFTC / TFTH / SL Laughing
