Today we spent time caching in Orroroo and this was one cache on our to find list. The creek bed, like the rest of the countryside, was bone dry so no flooding that would most probably prevent access to the hide today. We could see debris from the last flood episode around all the bridge supports.
Once at GZ we quickly spotted the hide and uncovered the well hidden container. Container and contents were in very good condition.
Thanks for this cache Dolphinhwii and for showing us this little piece of local history. There are some very beautiful large old gum trees in this area, another reason to visit this spot.

This cache has been taunting me for years, but finally I made the effort to get out here and find it.
The temperature was around 46° today, but that was no obstacle to find a GCA cache in a great location.
The cache was a nice quick find, and I was back on my way in no time.
Thanks dolphinhwii.

A quick find near an interesting bridge. Thanks to an earlier log, I was made aware there was also a GC cache here. I generally only look for GCA but couldn't pass up two for one! TFTC

Great spot for a cache
With the temp up to 30 today I was surprised to have not seen more reptiles in the long grass!
Cheers

Mr Beetle located the co-ordinates for this one but he was up there and the cache was down there so I wandered over and made the actual find. Grabbed the GC cache while we were here too so I guess we got two for the price of 1. Thanks, unlike some we always try to find the GCA caches when we can.
I arrived at the red bridge and marveled at it's construction for a while
But I was at the other end of the bridge from GZ where I stood
I could slip and slide back down the embankment and fight me way through the long, wet grass and prickles to get to the other side .... OR .... take the easy way
A couple of fun minutes later .... don't try this if you are scared of heights .... and I was at GZ
Or as it transpired ... above GZ
So after a slippery slide down the embankment, through the prickles and a wade through the long grass I found the cache

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
We were woken early this morning with thunder and lightning whilst camped at Murray Town.
After ensuring that the hatches were battened down and the cat was tucked in safe and sound we set off to tackle some more caches in neighbouring areas. The dirt roads were mostly okay, we stayed away from any 'Dry weather only' roads but some were still quite treacherous by the end of the day.
Some fabulous views of the locale and rainbows. Some interesting history and lovely towns were taken in today.
Managed to get a 2 for 1 stop here. Picking up the GC and GCA caches here.

Found with GrimRaider on our SA caching road trip. Had to pull in here and check out the old rail bridge. Nice hide and container. Took photos and moved on. TFTC

Found It!
A bit of a flash mob at this cache today. Somehow everyone ended up arriving here at the same time! Needless to say it was quickly found!

South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Thanks.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 131 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, making our way from Darwin towards Perth via Mount Isa, Townsville, Emerald, Goondiwindi, Gunnedah, Young, Yass and Wentworth.
With the Line Dancing all but over we departed Wentworth and headed for home. The WanderingMrs wanted to capture a nearby Munzee, so I took the opportunity to hunt this cache at the same time.
A short walk and an extremely quick and easy GAFF 0 find and we were back on the road again. I didn't find out until about three days later that we were racing to get home for a Line Dancing Social on Saturday night.
My find No 5,127, LCC, TNLNSL.

Wow thought this one would be found by now but we can now celebrate a FTF, nice spot and magnificent trees, I remember catching the tourist steam train from Peterborough to Eurelia, on this occasion the train derailed at Eurelia a expearience to remember, it stopped for photo opportunitys along the way TFTC
