Description
As we travelled to and from Perth, we took breaks here.
It's a good spot for the weary cacher to take a break, stretch the legs and of course find a cache.
Situated on the Eyre Highway on what some regard as the longest straight stretch of road in the world, between Balladonia and Caiguna; The road stretches for 146.6 Kilometres (91.1 mi) with out turning.
At approxmately 132Kms from Caiguna (heading West) and approximately 50Kms from Balladonia (heading East) is a 24Hr Rest Stop.
It has tables and seats, plenty of room for those large home away from homes and a toilet.(It was backed up and very smelly at the time of placing this cache) There is no water availble here.
And now of course it has a cache.
The cache is a mint tin hidden in the usual way.
Stealth maybe required; please replace it as you found it.

And there are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.
The day turned eventful after gashing my leg at a cache, putting a tiny hole in my font tyre returning from Madura Cave then at Norseman the motel i had booked with did not have me on their list, so managed to get a room at the pub. They do say they come in threes.....
I parked up on the side of the road for the start of many trig points.
I cleaned quite a few so any writing could be seen rather than just a mound of dirt with a pole.
This cache was not a long break but a very quick break to stretch and sign the log and keep on moving.
Thanks for the cache SNAFU
Thanks
Albida
Oh except for water
A noisy highway side place to spend a night, with dunnys, litter bins, and that reassurance that somehow grouping together here in the GAFA makes it a safer spot to sleep
What I did find amazing when I arrived here at the hour of 9:00 am, was that one group whose numbers obviously didn't all fit into their camper van at night and so needed a couple of tents for extra accommodation, were still here !!
People normally don't loiter when the sun is up on the Nullarbor !!
Fortunately they were encamped far enough away from GZ to not notice what I was up to.
And a mint tin was found in the second place I stuck me paw
TFTC !! and short break
Thanks S N A F U for the hunting and cache
Thanks for the cache,
Stopped looked did not find. Must remember to carry GPS on long road trips. Tom Tom just does not cut it.
