Description
This geocache is located within the Oakland’s Wetland and Reserve off Oakland’s Road, and is easily accessible for families. The geocache contains a log book, pen and small trinkets for the kids, it can be found with ease within a nice environment with plenty to see and do that will keep kids occupied for hours. I would recommend caution if you are taking kids on the hunt with you, they should stay close to you at all times as there is a large body of water within the vicinity.
Have fun and happy hunting :)

Adelaide Trip. May 2021. Day 6. I spent the afternoon between Marion and Brighton today. Plenty of new caches since I was around here last, and 10 Labs to get as well. The nice weather after a few days of rain had the fore shore quite busy, but they did not stop my activities.
I went for a short walk around these wetlands and found a few enjoyable caches.
Thanks
Albida

Over in South Australia with Just a cacher for Christmas duties with the in-laws and we decided to head out and grab a cache or two while we were here.

Great find for kids. Missed it x2 thinking it was storm water for pond! Kids enjoyed swapping 30 cents in tube for $1 and an eraser!
A quick find. Love the disguise.

yay!!!! our first geocaching find after previous failed attempt elsewhere. thanks!!
My daughter had an urgent appointment at a friend's house about 200 m away from this cache, so of course I had to go and find it. Wondering what the clue meant as I approached, it all became clear upon arrival. Fortunately the dog walkers only appeared after I had resealed the cache.
Staying in Adelaide for a week we have been focusing on finding some GCA caches and this was one of them. Have driven around the outskirts of Adelaide on previous visits to SA so nice to stop this time and let geocaching be our guide.
Easy find once at GZ, cache and contents are in good condition. Thanks Philip Roetman for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

In the area so did a little walking around and found this cache along the way [^]
Nice container!
Nice container!
i found this cache very easily in fact it is way too easy due to the way these have been set up. As i opened the cache i ended up with probably 50 ants crawling over my hand and once opened that this cache has been become home to an ant colony in huge proportions obviously because your cache is buried in the ground they probably think it is their home. I scrawled in the log book and by this time i had well over 100 ants crawling all over me. i then threw the book back in closed and spent the next 10 minutes getting rid of ants of me.
THIS CACHE IS COMPLETELY AGAINST THE GEOCACHING CREED WITH GEOCACHING WORLD WIDE. It is appalling to see an Australian geocacher having complete disregard for this creed which in turn will give us Aussies a bad reputation by our own people let alone visitors from overseaes.
Philip Roetman you seriously need to read the creed and do something about fixing these caches before you get many more complaints, as this is NOT ALLOWED in Australia.

We decided to start our day with a walk around these wetlands where there were both GC and GCA hides. This was our first find. We were interested to find out about the fluker post project that encourages users of the wetlands to monitor the environmental conditions.
We made a quick find at GZ.
Cache and contents were in excellent condition.
Thanks for the cache Philip Roetman we appreciated the effort you have put into constructing this hide.

We followed the arrow down to zero metres, and found ourselves standing on the side of a featureless embankment. There was certainly not going to be a cache hidden here. No way Jose.
We checked the clue, and read a word that had absolutely no meaning to us. We looked around and spotted a likely object, and upon arriving at it, some 34 odd metres from the listed cooordinates, we fluked a find!
This cache would definitely never be published on the American site. No way Jose.
We added our stamp to the log book and tried to cover the cache a bit so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb.
BTW, did I mention the the cache can be found at S34° 59.900' E138° 32.856'
Thanks Philip Roetman.
